My car came out shiny, looking like a brand new as it has just came out of the factory, pleasant service, you feel their dedication, this was my first time with them (my previous detailer closed), but already decided will definitely be going straight back to Alex and his team next time I need car detailing service. I asked for an exterior detailing - I have a newer SUV but have not washed it for over half a year so exterior really looking dirty with hard rain spots plus had several scratches on my car. But these were surprisingly all gone, every surface looking so shiny (yes from corner to corner, noticed he even also thoroughly cleaned up the tires!) by the time I came back to pick up my car. I was looking to get my detailed and sent out a message to multiple car detailing shops and Alex, the owner, responded quickly with an estimate and details of what would get done. He also got me an appointment with the day and time I requested. The price he gave me was unbeatable and his repose time was instantaneous! When I dropped my car off, they offered to drop me off at Ala Moana Mall to kill time while I waited and pick me up after. I kindly declined because it was just a quick 5 minute walk away but it was still nice to be asked. In June 2021, I brought my newly purchased 2014 Nissan to Clean Max for a thorough exterior detailing and an interior cleanup. The person who checked me in even made some snide remarks about my car (an EV). When I picked the car up a few hours later, the car was cleaner outside, but very little was evident inside - grime buildup on contact surfaces and vents were still evident. And upon closer inspection, there was lots of unwiped wax paste on most of the crevices and seams. I reported this to the owner, who apologized, gave me a partial credit, and promised to redo the job. I accepted this offer and returned a few days later. The interior was better, but there was still quite a bit of grimy buildup on the knobs and steering wheel. Some of the hardened wax paste had been removed, but this was definitely not a detail-oriented labor. Even now, 7 months later, I am still finding white paste wax buildup from this job in crevices and seams. Pricing was reasonable, but you also get what you pay for - a fair car cleaning, but not really a detail job, i could have gotten this level of service for much less at McKinley. I hope their service has improved since last summer. read more

This company was very fast in their responsive when I requested estimates through the yelp app. Because I've read on other's reviews and they stated that this company had a satisfaction guarantee policy and was quoted at a very affordable price. Although the estimate jumped from $250-$300 to $400 in the end. When I drove home, I notice they missed a few things, I called them and asked me to come back and they did a great job in the end. Very quick response and super polite and courteous. Good place to go if you want a quick appointment and car cleaned. I did notice they're not as meticulous as other places: I saw some loose dirt/crumbs on my chair that wasn't vacuumed and parts here and there not wiped/cleaned in the interior that to me, seemed obvious to the eye. To add, the attendant who worked on my car needed to be reminded to clean one of my tires, and I had to run back to ask for my dashboard cover when I realized it wasn't there as I drove off. I'm not dissatisfied with the service as I needed my car to be cleaned in ways I wasn't able to. It's so hard to find a decent car wash/interior cleaning shop even with 5 stars review. I went to premier and paid over $500 for crap. They didn't shampoo my seats or even wipe my windows on the inside. They also vacuumed a part of my door and they had to fish it out later. My SUV was super sparkly after services. Had the interior cleaned and they did a really good job of getting those annoying spots I can't ever seem to get clean...you know, the crevices by arm rests, bottom of the cup holders, in between the seats and door sill. A waiting room or a bench would be nice but I did find a great little spot down the street (Teaspresso) to grab a cool drink. Alex, the owner, also works with his employees. I have been there twice, and both times, they suggested me to check my car if they missed anything. There were tiny spots that I saw, and I asked if they could take care of spots, and they did with their buffer not just with cleaning cloth. The price is very reasonable unlike a lot of detail shops. Alex and Issac made me very comfortable when I asked if they could remove the spots. Luckily, I live nearby, so I can just walk home after dropping my car off. read more

Excellent job getting extremely bad hard water off our windows. We recently purchased a used card with baked on water spots on all windows that made it a bit dangerous to drive. Clean Max was quick with an estimate (very reasonable) and scheduling. When we dropped off the car we were told it would take approximately 2 hours and they were on time. My quote for the detail was quick and thorough and the most affordable of those that had responded. I received a second hand company car which was filthy. The car was parked outside under a tree for four months. There was water spots that accumulated on the drivers side due to a water sprinkler. They tech did a complete estimate on the car and pointed out areas that could not be addressed with the package I selected. I was fine and satisfied with his assessment. When I picked up the car it was better than expected. The tech actually took a little more time than originally stated because of the condition of the car.
