The Council Shop- Burbank was close by so we opted to make a detour. The shop is located right along the major street, but we lucked out with street parking right in front. The shop had a good variety of pretty much everything. There was a small/medium size area of men's clothing, home goods, and decor, while the store had a very robust selection of women's clothing. Many things were categorize with certain pricing; however, there were some items that were individually priced. I bought a pair of black suede made in Italy boots (which I loved) for $25 and a new with tags swimsuit for $11. I thin the quality of the donations they accept seem pretty high so the next time I come back to Burbank I'd be open to drop in again!

As we entered Savers, we were quickly greeted by the staff. The store was a nice sized one and very clean! Everything was very organized! They have clothing, household items, books, purses, bags, jewelry, shoes, and more. It all depends on the donations. The prices seem very steep to me. I guess I've never thrifted in Los Angeles before?!?! They are open seven days a week from 10 am to 8 pm. You can join their club and get points towards a discount. 100 points equals 1 reward. Each reward is a 20 percent off your next purchase. You'll have to read the fine prints. If you're 55 plus, shopping on Tuesdays is a perk! They say you can get 30 percent off. ( EXCLUDES new merchandise with the red tags on them ). I would ask the clerks about this before shopping and ask about their "restrictions may apply" policy! Overall, it was a nice tour of the store. Know your prices vs shopping secondhand prices. Employees were very helpful and friendly. Ample parking!

I know this is a "for profit" second hand store, but Goodwill is wild with their limited hours and no longer accepting donations at this time response when I call. Also, Savers gives you a 25% off purchase coupon, Goodwill has gone down to 10%. If I were to put them in order of where I'd go thrifting, it would still be Goodwill, then Savers, then Salvation Army. Also, on Yelp & Google it still has holiday hours - this place is open for business as well as accepting donations daily from 10am-8pm.

We didn't really browse inside the store since we didn't need anything. However, the store was nice, clean, well organized and a lot of things to choose from. Clothes, shoes, accessories, scarfs and more.. Parking in the back, but we parked on the side street. I have been a loyal customer since this location opened, and I have never been treated with such disrespect. I found an item without a price tag and did exactly what customers are supposed to do- I brought it to an employee to have it priced. As I was in the middle of checking out, Rosa suddenly took the item out of my hands and refused to sell it to me, claiming it was "not for sale" because she needed to "investigate" it. I calmly asked, "I'm sorry, did I do something wrong?" Instead of explaining the situation professionally, she spoke to me with a rude, confrontational attitude and began questioning me as though I had done something wrong. I remained respectful the entire time, yet I was treated like I was being accused of something simply because I wanted to purchase an item. The situation became even more disturbing when Rosa followed me outside of the store after the interaction. As a customer, that was intimidating, unnecessary, and completely unprofessional. No employee should ever make a customer feel that uncomfortable. I've shopped at countless thrift stores, including Savers for years, and I have never experienced behavior like this. I left feeling embarrassed, singled out, and deeply disrespected. The donation attendants have consistently treated me with kindness and professionalism, which only made Rosa's behavior stand out even more. If Rosa's actions reflect Savers' standards for customer service, then customers deserve to know that. If they don't, then management needs to address this immediately. No loyal customer should be treated with hostility, have merchandise taken from them at the register without a proper explanation, or be followed outside of the store. This experience has completely changed my opinion of this location, and unless something is done about the way Rosa treats customers, I won't be returning.

They carry everything from furniture, purses, shoes, and clothing to appliances, books, CDs, VHS tapes, DVDs, jewelry, electronics, vinyl records, dishes, and toys. My brother-in-law and I spent some time in the toy section and we both actually ended up leaving with some teddy bears. His was only $3, and when he looked it up in the store it was worth up to $70--he was so excited about that find! Overall my personal experience was very pleasant and the customer service I received was great. Most employees seemed friendly and helpful. I did notice a slightly awkward interaction between an older female employee and another customer browsing near the VHS/DVD and jewelry counter. The employee called out "next," which made it seem like she thought the customer was ready to check out. When the customer didn't respond right away, the employee called out louder to get her attention kinda sounded annoyed. The customer looked a little caught off guard and replied that she was just browsing before continuing to look around. It was a bit of an odd moment, but when that same employee ended up checking us out, everything went smoothly and we had no issues. Overall it was a fun thrifting trip and I'd definitely come back again. Next time I want to spend more time exploring the clothing section!
