My car was ready after repair, I didn't have anyone who could run me to the shop, so I called Clean Taxi. I think it was a good move. It was a Thursday at 1:30PM, so your mileage may vary, but Chris pulled up about 20 minutes later (on Anastasia Island) and took me to 210 and I-95 using the shortest and quickest route. He was personable and professional. Hopefully my car doesn't need any repairs again for a while but they've earned my business for my taxi needs. Btw, I've read that Uber can be hard to come by in the area so I went the taxi route. And, the trip from the island to CR210 was $50. I thought that was reasonable. Great taxi service! We only had a short ride, but have several seniors that were unable to walk the short distance. Reserved three cars who all arrived on time and were very friendly. They were very accommodating on the return trip from dinner, since we ran more than an hour late. Called for a ride the other day, they arrived relatively quickly, I think the driver's name was Brad or Brett, but he was a heavy set kid with a ponytail, the price was affordable, but the overall experience was unpleasant to say the least, for a company that bills itself as "clean taxi"I could not tell if it was the vehicle or the driver but the smell of cigarette smoke was strong. The driver could definitely do with some retraining, shocked we did not get pulled over, he was driving well over the speed limit, switching lanes without signaling, and constantly looking at his phone. The overall experience was less than pleasant and less than professional, in the future I will stick with Uber or another cab service read more

Had a female driving I believe witch was Tina or something close. Completely rude and unprofessional. Talked the whole time about her son's father and his other babies mom, saying she was a come head etc. I just wanted a ride. I didn't want to be involved in her white trash drama. Scheduled a ride from St Augustine to the Jacksonville airport with the company today. The driver, Tim, arrived 10 minutes early, was very friendly, and drove professionally during the 1 hour trip to the airport. The car was clean and spacious. The trip was only $10 more than Uber/Lyft and definitely worth it for the ease of scheduling and a very professional driver. Will definitely be using this company again! read more

Worst taxi service in Florida. They never came after an hour of waiting. Save yourself the time and don't call them.

Rode with clean cab today... had to wait over 30 mins, driver had no mask, was on phone the whole ride and over charged me $3.00. ORST TAXI COMPANY IN ST AUGUSTINE. Ordered a taxi an hour in advance which they agreed to. They not only never arrived but when I called they would hang up when we asked where it was. Terrible customer service and even worse business. You're better off walking then trying to get a taxi from these frauds. read more

I've used Clean Taxi twice before and was very happy. I'd much rather use a local business than Uber or Lyft so I thought I'd found a good alternative. The third time I called them the driver showed up and quoted me a price $6 dollars more than the previous rides going to the same place. He explained that the reason for the increase was that his GPS had got him lost. Well, how is that my fault? But I agreed to the price and off we went. The speed limit in Marsh Creek is 25mph for a good reason, there are people out walking their dogs and riding bicycles pretty much at any given time. The driver hauled ass through there, didn't much care when I asked him to slow down. And the rest of the trip was California stops, tail gating, 20 over the speed limit on wet roads, no turn signals etc...I won't be calling Clean Taxi anymore. It's too bad because I use taxis quite a bit and thought I'd found a good one. This particular driver was just too dangerous for my blood. read more

I called Clean Taxi for a customer. I gave them clear instructions and my phone number. The taxi dispatcher evidently sent the driver to the wrong place and the driver called me to find us. He was agitated and sharp with me and dismissive. When i asked him not to call me "Sweetheart" he told me to find another taxi you f-ing bitch. I would suggest that they are not a "Clean" Taxi. The dispatcher did not listen to my directions, no one evidently keyed in a mapping program --- and my boss is taking my customer home. And they wonder why I Uber.
