I canceled the clean. Here's why: I scheduled the deep clean, quoted at 580. When it got closer to the time, I was informed that they may not be able to cover the whole house in that time and it could actually go up to 8 hundred something, but they would call and lmk if they needed to go longer. I responded that's all I was willing to pay. Then I was told that they couldn't possibly get it done (2 cleaners, 6 hours, 2000 sq feet house) and to let them know what "couple of areas" to focus on for that price. I have had a cleaner that did the whole house herself in 6 hours and did very well but hadn't been available. So why even quote that price in the beginning if it's impossible? So I said no thank you and contacted the previous cleaner who was now available and she did the whole house herself 6 and a half hours for 280. And she did things that were on their list as extra, which would have cost even more. Things like making the beds and emptying all the trash are considered extra. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I got the yelp app just to write a review as I'm not typically this person but feel the need to. Prices were completely and inaccurately advertised. I will say the team did a pretty good job with the clean and were friendly and kind. It did however take them over 13 hours for a regular sized move out house that wasn't filthy. I did a quick vacuum, cleaned the toilets and wiped down surfaces before they arrived. I even had them not vacuum as we had carpet cleaners coming the next day and they were going to handle it. Needless to say I think the company is a complete rip off. The gal who took my calls was very rude about the entire situation. Owner ended up reaching out to attempt to make things right. We used this company for several months in 2021. They were by far the worst cleaning service we've ever had. We kept hoping they'd get better, they had good google reviews (didn't realize then how easy it is to manipulate google). They regularly spent less than an hour in our home, yet the bid the job at 3 hours and charged us $169 per week, for less than one hours work. On one occasion the housekeeper showed up at 5am in the morning. When we walked in, you couldn't tell they had even been in our home. They never cleaned the baseboards, they never vacuumed the coaches or dusted any of the plants. When I mentioned this on a public posting the owner accused me of lying stating we were never a customer. If the owner comes out lying again about never having us as customers, I also posted a review on google with copies of a months worth of check for her company. It's one thing to not be good at your job, it's entirely different to lie about customers not having been your customer. read more

Josiah cleaned my windows two years in a row. He did such an amazing job. In 2023, I wanted them done earlier, so I called in February to schedule for early May. They said they couldn't schedule that far in advance, and said to text again in April. I texted in April and they said they couldn't do them until July. I said, "How can that be? I couldn't schedule earlier when I tried to." There was some " the owner said this or that." I found some other company that was truthful about their scheduling. read more

I am beyond impressed with Laura and Abigail. They did such an amazing job. I honestly thought I kept a fairly clean-ish house but after their deep clean I was so amazed at how much cleaner it felt. I was looking for a reliable cleaner for monthly cleans of my home. Deep clean was really subpar and I had to call to have them come back to get things like baseboards, my kitchen sink and my laundry room that was left relatively untouched. Wearing a mask was required in my home due to some immunocompromised family members. This request was tolerated the first visit, but when the second visit came around, the same cleaner came to my door, well aware of my requests and refused to wear a mask. She then went off on her own little tangent about how she wasn't going to get vaccinated either. All in all this was extremely disheartening given that I'm a nurse and believed this was a very small ask. After the fact, I attempted to work something out with the company to either have vaccinated staff or those who weren't vaccinated just to wear a mask, but I was told that was too tough of a request for scheduling since they weren't going to "make" anyone wear a mask. read more

Poor communication, poor customer service. I called over three weeks ago and scheduled a carpet cleaning for their first available time, which was today. I was given an arrival time of 12-1:30pm. My husband and I rearranged our work schedules and spent all morning moving furniture and vacuuming (since it's not included in their service), and waited. Nothing. At 2pm I called and left a voicemail asking for an update. Then I sent a text. I got a response that they had sent me an email (which I never received) that the tech was going to be out of town so they moved my appointment forward by a week. They never called to let me know and clearly were not concerned about getting confirmation as to whether or not the reschedule would work for us. On top of that, they took my credit card number and had me fill out a form that asked me to leave a gratuity in advance. Why would I leave a gratuity for something that hasn't been done yet? Something that should have been simple and straightforward turned out to be a giant inconvenience. I'll be going elsewhere. read more

So easy to work with and the service is excellent! I was impressed from the moment I contacted them. I was able to easily schedule an in-home house cleaning estimate directly on their site. The estimator was friendly and gave me a reasonable quote for a deep clean and as I requested bi-weekly house cleaning. I've been using Cleaner Living for almost three months now and I've had the same house cleaner, Sonia, the entire time. She's thorough, very friendly and considerate. We work from home with dogs and she easily works around us and the chaos. Our house looks great and I look forward to her visits. Oh! I almost forgot, Cleaner Living is an eco-friendly cleaning service and uses non-toxic, hypoallergenic, green cleaning supplies. If you are allergic to scents they won't use any. We usually choose lemongrass or peppermint because they smell amazing. I've been telling all my neighbors in Northwest Crossing about this service, I just love it. My neighbor just used them for window cleaning and said they did an amazing job. We'll keep them in mind next time we need our carpets or windows cleaned. read more

I found Cleaner Living NW while searching for a company that works with clean and green products.  I initially used them for a deep clean and carpet cleaning before moving into our new home.  They came out to give me an estimate and even sent pictures of the carpet from before and after the cleaning too.  I continue to use them for a bi-weekly cleaning, and Ashlyn is amazing.  She is always on time, sweet and helps out with extra cleaning tasks I request as well.  I have a newborn son, and she made sure to let me know when she was sick and wanted to reschedule to ensure that our family members were safe.  I would highly recommend! read more

I had someone come out to a disabled Veterans home and my spouse has been battling cancer for 2 yrs. I have 1 bedroom with bath and the living room and dining room and kitchen. The quoted my 1800 dollars for 8 hours!!!! On top of that I do not smoke in my house but the lady was rude even after I explained it was on me. Luckily I found someone for 400 for a deep clean. I wanted to like these folks - they were nice, they seemed organized but they did not meet our expectations. I had great interactions with them via phone, email, and when they came to give us an estimate. During the estimate, they said that the first clean would be a deep clean and 2 people would be cleaning. She gave me a price that seemed reasonable for the deep clean and then for a monthly cleaning. When I finally got my first cleaning scheduled, only one person arrived. After she left, it was evident that she didn't really clean much - counter tops were not clean, stove top had a spill on it, shower had not been cleaned etc. The only thing that looked great were the carpets. Before I could send an email, they reached out to get our feedback. After explaining that our expectations were not met, they offered us a 20% on future cleaning or 20% off the last cleaning. Given we didn't feel like they did their job, I opted for the 20% the first cleaning. I still have not received that refund. read more

This review is long overdue! I'm constantly traveling due to my work and other family reasons. I came to Oregon 3 weeks ago to visit a family member who was hospitalized. We had family and guests come over to the house constantly to visit my cousin. And as you can guess when you have guests coming over almost everyday, things are bound to get dirty. Since every one was in a somber mood, we all agreed that we needed a little help with the house cleaning to get it ready for the next day for our new guests. I had high hopes for this company and their non-toxic cleaning products, but sadly they are not all that great. I had hired them to first do a deep clean and then weekly cleans. I walked through my home with one of the employees and she went over everything they do and told me exactly what they clean. I was told they would send a team of two people out for the deep clean and then one of those gals would be my regular cleaning person. Awesome! Deep clean day comes and one person shows up. When I came home, my oldest told me another person showed up a few hours later. When I checked things out, I noticed things were not even touch. Nothing was dusted, the air intake vents were not cleaned as I was told they would me, nothing was deep cleaned. My house was nothing more than a quick wipe down - if that! I expressed my disappointment since I paid nearly $300 for this "deep clean". They then offered me to come out TWO weeks later to "go over the missed areas". Umm, what?! I paid for a deep clean. Bad: The price was more than anything I had ever paid a professional crew to clean before, the first set of girls were often on their phones, and they complained about their boss and the filthiest of other customers' houses. Scheduled way ahead for a move-out clean. Never used this business before. Had to leave message and wait for call back. Gal called next day to say she didn't have her calendar yet for the next month and would have to call me next week to schedule. Seemed odd, but ok. Got callback and gave deposit. I was told that 2 gals would be there at 930am. I get there at 920 to find them waiting. No introductions, and they seemed miffed to be waiting. They start work, then an hour in, one leaves, saying a sub would show up. Nope. I decide to jump in and start vacuuming rather than be there until 8pm. Remaining gal is upset and starts badmouthing the company. Then she tells me she can't clean any of the stainless steel because she doesn't bring cleaner for that. Later I find that she missed an entire bathroom and left sink full of dirty mop water. I called company to complain. Got voicemail of course. Waited 2 days for callback. Did get a minor discount but no real apology or effort to salvage a new client. read more

Cleaner Living NW was great in the beginning, but then quickly went downhill. The Good: They offer free in-home estimates so you know exactly how much it will cost. They do not charge an hourly rate. They clean as long as they think it should take on any given clean job. My first several cleans were absolutely perfect. And by perfect, I mean, my floors squeaked, they were so clean. My cleaner cleaned under furniture and everything had obviously been moved and cleaned under every time they were here. The Bad: After my last clean, I noticed things had been missed. The floor did not appear to have been vacuumed and the furniture had not been moved. There were crumbs on the floor, under the sofa and loveseat, and when I ran a mop over the floor to see what I could pull up, the mop rag was extremely dirty. I took pictures of underneath the couch and of the dirty mop rag and sent an email to Elizabeth, one of the owners of Cleaner Living. She responded with an apology and an excuse and offered me $15 off my next clean. After comparing notes with my husband on the cleaning job, he informed me that our cleaner was not yet at our house when he went home to grab something at 10:15. Our cleaner is supposed to arrive between 9-9:30am because that is when our kids are at preschool and it would be pointless to clean with toddlers running around making more messes. They say to allow extra time for things such as accidents, but, Bend isn't that big and I think our cleaner was simply late. Our house appeared to have been cleaned in a hurry. We got home at 1:30 and our cleaner was gone. Usually, she is there for at least 4 hours or more. We know she had been there because she had left a receipt for our clean. I again emailed Elizabeth. I explained the situation in further detail and stated that obviously it was up to her, but a refund would be appreciated. I spent hours cleaning the house that day. I feel like I wasted $120 and am very disappointed in the service I received. I requested that they not send anyone else to clean our house. After nearly two weeks, I have not received a response. I know they received my email because, as requested, they did not send a cleaner for my bi-weekly clean. I am disappointed in how they treated me when things went wrong. I will post an update in the future if applicable. UPDATE: Elizabeth at Cleaner Living NW contacted me today and offered a full refund or a free clean.
