So happy my wife found this company on Yelp. We had not been happy with previous companies that we had used for our window cleaning. We have quite a few windows on the house plus some skylights. We ask that they be cleaned inside and out. CleanFreaks responded quickly and were very professional from start to finish. First time hiring cleaners, and I was a bit nervous about how all of it would go but it turned out awesome and I'm glad I decided to do it. I got a deep clean for my apartment. The crew came while I was at work, and finished up a little while after I got home. They did an amazing job. There are stains that are gone that I thought were just permanent fixtures. My apartment looks amazing. The crew was very friendly, they went above and beyond. They all introduced themselves when I got home, and they asked me questions about certain things to be cleaned. The cleaning service did an excellent job at the beginning. Last month didn't have staff to do the job. This month didn't show up.

I contacted Jacqueline with a very large job that needed to be started quickly. My mother had recently passed and her house was going up on the market after years of dust, dander, and some neglect. Jacqueline seemed excited at the challenge this presented and had her team all over it. We encountered a few bumps - things were taking longer than anticipated (which increased the cost), a couple people on the team fell ill, so it slowed the job just a bit. But even with this, Jacqueline was always in contact, keeping me up to date on what was happening (especially important since I was in a different city). Communication is always key with me. I did get to see some of her team's work in person, as well as the after pictures we did for the listing. That house has not been so clean in I don't know how many years. They really did do a very detailed job - were even taking windows out of the tracks to get every nook and cranny! I would absolutely recommend - if I were in the area, I would absolutely have this team come and take care of my home. read more

I had a great experience using this business for a last minute cleaning need before Christmas. My usual cleaners were booked up and we were hosting and wanted it to be extra clean. I had the crew for 2 hours to get my house ready for company. They showed up on time, did a walk through with me, wore masks the whole time, communicated with me and met all of our needs. Communication leading up to the cleaning was good and all over text which was best for me. I will use them again for my needs and reccomend them. read more

Customer service was better than all the work but communication and actual delivery of what was expected was not good. I expected much more than what I received. That could just be on my end but since reviews are there to give you an idea on how a person, product or service is I had set expectations on that. First off, the gentleman that called me was polite, nice and to the point. I had no issues with his manner or behavior. I was glad he arrived to do the work but then things started to go a different direction. He expected to have power and more available to do the job. I wasn't aware that was necessary and my expectation of a mobile service was all the tools that were needed would be brought. In the end, he offered to drive my car there and do the work at the business. I was uncomfortable at first but know there are some services like that. I have insurance and took pictures of him and the car he came in so gave my trust. The next part concerned me because the expectation from Yelp was all these services were available...like engine detail, interior and exterior clean and so on. I ended up getting a quote that was acceptable...still thought engine detail was in there but that was more an issue with options available on Yelp for a quote. The next part was the extra costs suddenly mentioned. Two of them. One for sand and the other for pet hair. Both services were $50 dollars more. I agreed because I was sure there was some pet hair and sand in my car. None of which were bad by anyones standards but still they were there. That cost combined with the quote brought the price to a $425. I accepted that because DETAIL means detailed to me. That didn't happen. He did offer to clean up what I saw but what I saw was too much to ask...basically a do over and I didn't have the time for that. He had my car from 9:45am to 2:45pm. For the work and size of my vehicle it was enough time. I asked around and did my research and I am confident it was reasonable. Water spots, plenty of dirt and even debris. In the car still had sand in the seat, pet hair on the carpet and even dirt on the mats. Again I think detail is detail oriented and it includes looking at the small stuff. The job was done at a 60 - 70% complete level. Meaning it was not all done and if I had it done again I would have it all done as net new by someone else. I have got Washman interior clean at a car wash better than this and it only cost me $50 not counting tip. They did try to work with me but it was just too much wrong. Couldn't see knit picking them to do the job... Still paid $300 including tip and that was after 20%. read more

We purchased a very old, pretty big, house in NE Portland and wanted it cleaned before we moved in. CleanFreaks was able to schedule us in a very tight two day window between the time the sellers moved out and the furniture arrived. The pricing estimate of 19 hours was beyond absurd for a non-deep cleaning and no windows for one kitchen, 2 bathrooms, one dining room, one bedroom, a 12 step stair well and one living room with vacuuming in another large room. I was unable to get clarification on why it was so high except a verbal repetition of their approach to cleaning porcelain sinks and caring for tassels on area rugs. How one of the posted reviewers got the service for just 2 hours puzzles me! Seems like an impossibility but perhaps 10 people were there. ( I've never had a window company do that) the crew was very friendly and arrived when they said they would. I hired them to come back the very next day for deep cleaning of 2 bathrooms and mop my whole house. I'm now scheduled for a weekly clean. I could not be happier with the results. read more
