Unfortunately, the actual cleaning did not match the polished presentation. I hired this company for a deep clean, and the service did not match what was written in the contract. Several areas, like the laundry room, which were specifically included in the contract, were skipped entirely. When I asked them to come back to complete the work they had already been paid for, they told me it would be a "second phase" and would require additional payment. There was never an agreement about "phases", and it is not reasonable to charge extra for work that was already included in the original contract. They also skipped the copper sink completely. Their explanation was that there was a dish in the sink. We were home the entire time, and they could have simply asked us to move it. That alone demonstrates the level of effort and communication they were willing to put in. Cleaning products were used that were not appropriate for the materials in my home. Clorox wipes were used on surfaces that require specific cleaners, which explains why stains and buildup remained afterward. It felt rushed and not thoughtful. The team was friendly, but the quality of the work and the refusal to honor the original agreement were very disappointing. I paid for a deep clean, not a partial job with surprise "phases" added afterward. If you need a true deep clean or someone who understands how to care for different materials, this is not the company I would recommend. This experience taught me that a professional marketing appearance does not always equal professional results.

It seemed pricey at first, but otherwise we would have had to buy two new shower stalls because a friend was staying there and used bleach to clean the shower stalls. They were a mess and she really made them look brand new for $400. She did ask for 500 but I asked for a discount and she did it for 400.00! I'm not 100% sure what her move-in and move out cleanings cost but this was different. It was a by the job cleaning meaning two showers and an oven. She swept upstairs and then moved some things downstairs out of her way. If you have the job that you don't think you can clean on your own she is definitely worth the money.

He was referred to us by Home Advisor and was one of several who submitted bids to re-paint the interior of the house. As far as price goes, his bid was in line with the others, but once I saw it, if he had been the highest bidder, he still would have gotten the job. All the other bids consisted of two figures one for labor and one for materials. His bid was by room and contained a picture of each room, so there could be no doubt as to what you were agreeing too. It is the kind of bid you normally only see in the business world. It showed me that I was dealing with a contractor but also a professional businessman. By the time we got things settled down, I gave him a about a 10-day window. I think he said he had six crews, so that time-frame would not be a problem. He got it done within the window I gave him and it only took him 3 days to complete the job. When he sent me pictures of the completed job, I realized that they had painted a wall that I thought that I had told them to leave the original color. One of the problems of being 1400 miles away, is that there is a good chance of communication problems and I made one. He happily corrected the situation in one day, without pointing out that it was my fault. My wife was once again happy, which makes me happy. About a week or so after he finished the job, my wife and I finally got to see his finished product. The house was painted perfectly and not a drop of paint anywhere it was not supposed to be. I've seen new homes that have paint jobs that didn't look as good as this one. I highly recommend GBD Inc for all your painting needs and based on their professionalism, I'd feel confident in recommending that you use them for flooring and carpentry needs as well.

We quickly negotiated the scope of work, price, and timeline. He completed the job in a little under two weeks from concept drawing and estimate to final installation. Most of the cabinet work was done in his shop. He installed the cabinet in a single morning and it looked great and he kept the area clean.
