But the dryers are pretty reasonable at 25 cents for 8 minutes and they heat up well. Also still uses quarters with change machines (no weird apps or tokens or whatever), has modern machines, has a decent little restroom that's unlocked, has wifi, seems kept up reasonably well overall, it's worth a stop as laundry doesn't really get any cheaper around here unless you stay at a hotel.

The first time I came here there were a couple machines out of order. When I got back 1 week & a half later, they were fixed, it's really tidy, & friendly. I enjoy coming here, being able to work while waiting for the laundry & not be bothered. People who come here are kind & considerate. I was greeted by the most amazing and wonderful employee, name is Rebecca. What a delightful person. She helped me out tremendously, when I forgot to add detergent to 7 of the washing machines, after they were almost finished. I had to start over. Very helpful! DO NOT TAKE DRAPES OR ANY UPHOLSTERY. they ruined my $2000 drapes and did not apologize or offer to give me any repayment. The staff was not knowledgeable enough to know not to accept them and when they made a mistake, I am left with nothing but ruined drapes. So in the photo you can see the lining is completely ruined, patchy-to-gone. In the middle is a view of the shrinkage, the lining is the original length, the beige is how much the fabric has shrunk from its original length... like 6 inches. There are 60 pleats on the short set  plus 100 more on the long ones. Malibu cleaners proposed I pick  out the pleats, discard the liner, obviously, and the cleaners can  stretch the fabric back to original lengths. Then get a draper to re- line, re- pleat, re-hem. Basically make new drapes. That was her suggestion. Not sure if I can ever take my cleaning here again.

Not only did they ruin my sweater, they also had zero follow-up. I visited the location in Bloomington on three occasions and made multiple phone calls without ever getting help addressing the issue. On my last visit to the store, the worker was able to reach the manager, who only blamed the age of the sweater for the stretching, not their process. She only offered to refund the price of the cleaning, nothing for the loss of this expensive cashmere sweater. Her customer service was tone deaf and defensive. Stay away from this place if you value your clothes.

But..... what she should have said is "they'll be ready on Friday AFTER 5 PM. " They close at 6PM. So there's a one hour window that you have to squeeze into your schedule, during rush hour, to get your stuff on the day they say it will be ready. I drove up to pick up my stuff at noon on Friday, 1/3/25, and was told my clothes wouldn't be ready until after 5 PM. The charge $9 to clean one shirt. IMO nine bucks for a shirt should be next day service. We can all make more money; none of us can make more time. Now I have to make two trips. I'm looking for another dry cleaning service. This place has concierge prices with laundry mat service. Not being able to execute on the basics - such as being truthful with customers - that's usually a harbinger for a business that's on its way to failure.
