All of the housekeepers they send have done a good job. However, if you find one that you like best, you can let ProMaids know and they'll make sure that particular person cleans your home each time. I have well water that has stained my sinks and tubs orange over the years. I was never able to get it off myself. Well, my ProMaid housekeeper made a point (without me asking) to tackle the orange stains. After two visits she had it completely gone!!!! I never thought I'd see that day. And, with the regular upkeep it hasn't come back. I also like that I can make special requests and they're always happy to comply. They are usually very pleasant and in good spirits, which always makes my day brighter. I do give the cleaners a tip each week. It's not required, and they always seem surprised and happy about it, but that may also help get great service. I feel like they deserve it when they go the extra mile -- which they usually do. I also make sure to be very clear in my instructions. I have a large home and it would be unreasonable of me to expect every nook & cranny cleaned when I only have them here a few hours. So, before they get started, I always go over with them what I want done that week. And, it always gets done to my satisfaction. A cleaning service is a lot out of the budget, but these are professionals and they can get a lot more done in a shorter about of time than I could ever do myself. My home feels so good when they leave. So, it's worth the money to me. I just wish I could afford to have them come every week!!!

The initial quote was $250 for a deep clean of my house (excluding the garage and the basement). I'll note that my house is generally very clean; when the cleaners arrived, my house was not in bad shape at all. Initially, 3 women showed up. I let them in and they began do what they do, not long after another woman and the owner Sergio showed up. At no point did Sergio speak to me about the services or what they were doing; they just all seemed to be busy cleaning. My personal opinion is the service was okay, but they ended up charging me $407 for additional deep cleaning. This wasn't communicated to me, and to be honest, any additional time they spent cleaning was entirely due to their lack of urgency not what was actually needed. I called and complained; and they decreased the fee to $365. I have no problem paying for a service, however I think this interaction was a not very good, and I'm not happy with how it appeared they were just trying to take advantage of the situation. The costs of this service compared to the work I actually feel they did doesn't line up. If you charge for additional time, it should be very clear where or why that time is needed; I feel they (the cleaners) moved at a pace that didn't allow them to complete the service in a reasonable time.
