Clear Choice is a religious clinic where the clear Choice is to carry your child to full term. Either keeping it or putting it up for adoption. I went there thinking they would be supportive of my situation but the 1.5 hrs there made me feel like absolute shit. They seamed nice but their manipulative ways are scary and make you feel guilty for being in the situation you are in. First they sit you down for counseling and don't let your support that may have come with come into the counseling with you. If you have made your decision they keep asking in different ways "are you sure?" And "do you know the government assistance programs they have" etc. When you finally get to the point we're you are just saying I just can't have a baby or a pregnancy at this moment they start pushing adoption. And when you bring up other concerns they quickly dismiss them. When your counseling is done they grab your partner, they then bring a woman in to gather more info. Clearly the counselor was not informed or even read over my health notes. The notes stated I hadn't had my period for 3 months due to pcos and not being on birth control because of Walmart stating they were out. Then the notes stated I had several pregnancy tests coming up negative then one coming up recently positive. The ultrasound nurse first was stating I was 14 weeks along. Then after me correcting her she said they would do the ultrasound to see. They asked me what my pain levels were and due to my chronic pain I'm usually at a 7 out of 10. She then stated if I was at a 7 I would have to be sent to the hospital. They clearly do not understand chronic pain and fibromyalgia. Even more so them dismissing the fact that I would need a pain plan if I were to keep the baby. In the ultrasound they showed me the screen and exclaimed how healthy it looked. Trying to dismiss my previous concerns and also said they could do testing later for disabilities and health. After learning I was 7 weeks along I then said I would still be going along with the abortion because of previous concerns they ignored my statements. They printed out a picture to send me home with and a sheet stating how far I am. Also in leaving they gave my partner and I paperwork on where to go to obgyn and prenatal vitamins and several booklets of info on keeping the baby. And suicide hotlines. They gave my partner a book about Manning up when she decides to keep the baby. And nothing about abortion. I wasn't informed by them you could go to great falls planned Parenthood to get the two pill abortion if you are under 10 weeks. If you are over 10 weeks you have to go to planned Parenthood in missula or blue mountain clinic. After leaving I felt worse then I did before going, I do not and will not ever recommend going to this clinic if you plan on abortion. And I wish I just went to planned Parenthood. If your looking to keep your baby, want a free ultrasound and pregnancy test this may be the place for you. Please just be aware they are not sensitive to your situations and will do what they can to change your mind and make you feel guilty for not being able to keep it. read more
