Listen to the reviews. This place has very shady practices. They find any way to require you book a "Telehealth" appointment to bill you a copay later on. I got a pregnancy test done and received the results the next day. I figured I already knew what the results meant based on my own interpretation, but wanted to confirm. I called the clinic to ask if I would be billed for wanting to confirm my question and was told no. I proceed with scheduling the Telehealth appointment and asked the PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT if my results meant "x". The PA simply responds, yes. The call ended. I was billed for an appointment that lasted less than 5 minutes. These people are FRAUDS. Do not go here. Listen to the reviews. They will try to squeeze every penny out of you. read more

Have been here for covid tests three times. First two times were timely + free. On the third visit, I got charged for an outpatient visit (over $100) so fighting with Clear Wellness via my insurance company on the claim they submitted. Easy to schedule online, but we have always scheduled there because they are close to us and usually keep the garage door of the space where they test open for circulation. When we tested there last Friday morning, it was closed and there was no circulation. We expressed our concern about this at least twice, and they said they may crack the door open in a bit, but never did, and yet there were so many of us waiting together in that garage to be tested, with people continuously taking their masks off to be swabbed. There were so many kids there also, many who looked too young to be vaccinated, so I was shocked that the testers wouldn't take at least this minimum precaution with a variant like Omicron, and knowing that some of those being tested were likely covid positive!! This last appointment made me lose trust, especially given that they still wouldn't open the door even a bit, despite us bringing it up twice and so many of us having young children with us. Yes, it's cold (though it wasn't horrible on Friday), but you can get a space heater, layer up, and/or offer less appointments to 1) accommodate taking a break to warm up, and/or 2) keep the space less crowded, at the very least. Dr. Trivedi is a fantastic physician. He's an extremely skilled anesthesiologist. I see him for ketamine infusions to help with my depression. I highly recommend him. His technical skills and attentiveness to detail are unparalleled in my experience (which is saying something). He's passionate about his work and helping his patients, which is abundantly clear when you're under his care. Dr. Shah is also nothing short of amazing. She is my primary care physician. She's easy to relate to and judgement-free. Whether via telemedicine or in person, her bedside manner is excellent and her down-to-earth style is a true comfort. I highly recommend both these physicians. You absolutely can't go wrong with Dr. Trivedi and Dr. Shah. Make an appointment today -- you won't regret it! read more

I am a healthcare provider. I have been sick for the last week. I scheduled a strep test and covid test for this past Thursday, which was performed. I had to ask them for further information regarding procedure. I was told my strep test results would be phoned that evening, with COVID results provided either Saturday or Sunday, 2 days wait. My strep test results were never phoned that evening. I called the next day, and finally got the strep results. Waited till Sunday with no word on the Covid test. I've called 4 times today with each time resulting in a response of "you will receive an email with results in 20-30 minutes". Never happened. At one point a worker "'promised she wouldn't leave until she phoned me results personally" I recommend avoiding this healthcare provider. You need to be able to trust your healthcare provider and this group had multiple, multiple points of failure. I will never return to them again and hope I can dissuade others. Recent had to get a quick COVID test for some travel; the online process was quick, easy and convenient. The visit to the clinic the following days was efficient, pleasant (as pleasant as a nasal swab can be) with result back to me within 24 hrs. We talked for less than one minute, once it became clear that CLEAR falsely advertised their capabilities. I asked that they not bill me, but they did anyway and the cost seemed excessively high. This is a review for their Covid testing only. This clinic does not use a nasopharyngeal swab but uses a nose swab which is not as accurate. Aside from that, the nose swab is supposed to be in each nostril for 10-15 seconds, but staff swabbed my nose for 2-3 seconds max. I did appreciate the ease of scheduling an appointment and the staff were friendly. It's better than no covid test at all, but not my preference as a health care worker. read more

Let me begin by saying this is the first negative review I have ever written for any business--and I wish I could post a review without any stars. CLEAR Wellness turned me away from a COVID-19 rapid test while I had an appointment, insurance and was ready to pay out of pocket because I was told that my symptoms weren't severe and enough and seeing my parents (who are 75+ with compromised health) within 24 hours for a family emergency didn't rise to the importance of me getting a rapid test. The lack of empathy and professionalism of this place speaks volumes. I thought it would be up to the standard of other healthcare groups (e.g. innovative express care, where this NEVER has been an issue), but my experience today unfortunately was the most disappointing I have had in several years. Have been to this urgent care a few times and even though I felt like the doctors didn't really listen well, the care was okay. However, during my initial appointment I asked the receptionist why my copay was higher than my insurance says it should be. She said she didn't know so I just paid it and paid the same increased copay the next couple times I went. It wasn't until I received a bill from the facility for a visit that my insurance had already confirmed they paid for that I became suspicious. I then went back and checked all of my claim statements from my insurance company and the amounts I paid to the facility and I realized I have in fact been being overcharged. I called the facility to ask why and the girl on the phone got really defensive and started to speak over me. I do not recommend the facility due to payment discrepancies and unexplained charges. read more

Another update, when I went to get this test, they didn't accept my insurance so I paid $175 out of pocket. I just received a bill in the mail from their lab for $100. Confused, I called the customer service number and they told me that this was never supposed to be paid by me, but instead it was to be paid by clear wellness. If you get a bill from Bridge Diagnostics after getting a covid test at clear wellness (I had mine alllll the way back in October and just got this bill) PLEASE call them and dispute it. Went in for a COVID antibody test today and had a great experience. Every staff member I met was knowledgeable and kind. I got in and out quickly, all while maintaining strict social distancing guidelines. Dr. Shah sat with me and answered all my questions and gave me a realistic and helpful understanding of what the test could and could not do. I sincerely cannot believe this company hasn't been sued multiple times and is still in business. I have been forced to come here at least 10 times for covid tests (because of my job) and every single time I have been there, they miscode the test and cause hours of phone calls between them and insurance to fix. Turns out theyre doing it on purpose to try to get more money!!! They seriously need to be audited for compliance with proper practices. Minimal waiting times and they moved through everything very quickly. They have the option of rapid and PCR. Went in to clear to have COVID antibody testing done following some flu like symptoms hit back in February before the shut down. The office was so clean and warm. The staff was friendly and almost immediately showed me to a treatment room so we would be separated from others. Drs. Trivedi and Shah were incredibly personable. The blood draw was quick and painless and we'll be getting results soon. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for primary care or pain management. read more

Nasty Front Desk Service I carefully researched and was happy to find this physician with a high rating and pleasant reviews. So, I scheduled my first in-person appointment with Dr. Shah. A staff member named Innocence called me to confirm and I was shocked by her rudeness and indifference. Nevertheless, I finished confirming my request for an appointment with Dr. Shah. But afterwards, she sent me a confirmation email of another patient's appointment (with different appointment type, date, and time). I then noticed the system double booked me for two appointments at two different times on the same day. One appointment that matched my request and one in a different time with a completely different healthcare professional that I did not request. I was extremely confused with no explanation of what had happened. Three hours before my appointment, I received another call from the same rude staff member, telling me (and not asking me) that my appointment had been switched to a different provider without my knowledge or consent. As I explained my frustration and asked to cancel both appointments, she simply hung up on me without letting me finish asking my questions. Healthcare isn't just about the doctor but the entire patient experience, and my interaction left me shockingly disappointed. Going to a physician's office is already a nervous experience for many patients. Not to mention that we have to pay a lot for healthcare and insurance fees. Patients should feel cared for and welcomed instead of being treated this nasty way. read more

DO NOT go there for your rapid covid test. I went there a few months ago and my insurance was charged over 300.00 including 196.00 for a so-called outpatient visit. Needless to say, that's price gouging at its worst. I went back and forth with them for months. My insurance ended up paying 35.00 and I had to pay almost 80.00. Since then, I've had to travel and found a testing site on north Clark (2400 or so) and they charged 30.00 for a rapid test which is very reasonable. I was very happy with their service. There are many sites now that are upfront and reasonable. CLEAR Wellness is not one of them! And don't get me started on their testing area - an unkempt "garage" in the back! read more

I got a COVID PCR test from here over a week ago and never got my results when I was told I would get them in 72 hours. I called after 96 hours and they said it would be up by the end of the day. It wasn't. I left messages on the portal and left a voicemail and haven't heard back. I call multiple times a day and no one picks up. I'm convinced they lost my test. This is ridiculous, especially because I only got tested so I could travel to see my family. Do not go here. read more

Is there a way to take away stars? From the start, I expected Covid testing to be complicated (this is from experience testing in early Aug)...but never would I have expected the absolute cluster f*** that resulted from getting tested in this establishment. - RAPID TESTING IS OUT OF POCKET @ $175/pp. Despite advertising RAPID testing everywhere, they do not note/communicate that this is an out-of-pocket cost. Additionally they will NOT work with insurance for RAPID testing (and yes, the website is confusing because it does say that they work with insurance for COVID testing). I'm fortunate that insurance covers 100% of all Covid testing, but the office refused to submit paperwork for a RAPID test. I found this out when I showed up for my appointment that I specifically made for a RAPID test (generally when one gets a RAPID test they want quick results. So I was left with few choices and just paid the up front cost of $175/pp-- I needed the quick results). My plan was to submit a claim to insurance... -Next curveball. They gave me a receipt that said "Clear Wellness, $175-paid". After calling multiple times to get an invoice that I could submit to insurance with billing codes and just like one sentence of detail (kept being told they were working on it and then multiple days passed and I received nothing), the doctor called me to say that providing CPT codes was not normal practice for Covid testing and they would pull something together but ultimately this was abnormal for them to do. Why is the doctor dealing directly with billing questions, shouldn't they be focused on patients...?? And how is a medical facility not set-up to provide invoicing for insurance/CPT codes. -Lastly-- after processing through insurance, my insurance company said the member rate for Covid testing is $145. Clear Wellness charges $175. After insurance called the office, the office said that the agent would need to discuss further with one of the doctors. Again, why is a doctor dealing with this?! I think at this point I'll eat the $60 cost for 2 people to get Rapid testing and NEVER return. And FINALLY can post this Yelp review as I was hesitating to do so until my insurance was sorted.... A few other observations- avoid SE corner of 16th/Michigan in aftn unless you want to contract Covid. They schedule so many people for appointments all at the same time that there is almost always 10+ people crowing the entrance waiting to be tested. It is not organized at all. When we did get tested, we stayed in our car. The doctor came out with three swabs (2 for our car, one for the other in front of us). She held all three swabs in her hands as she tested each person by walking up to the window. Only after the three tests were performed did they get placed into respective bags with labels- I was watching in shock. Arguably OK for that to happen with a single car of testing, but to take 2 untested, used swabs up to another window and hold them in one hand while you're using your other to test someone else and hoping you remembered what is what!? This place is a joke. And I have no idea how they maintain a medical license to practice. read more

I made an appointment with a live person for the instant Covid test. Did the registration and paid in advance, higher than my normal copay. Drive down there, paid to park, waited in line (they weren't ready to take me at my appointment time). Person came up with iPad to let me know they were doing a different test. When I said I wanted only the instant she offered to do both. When I repeated I only wanted the instant she refused. Almost an hour and a half wasted. read more

If youre looking for the top of the line providers in internal and pain management medicine, THIS is the place to go. Dr. Trivedi and Dr. Shah are outstanding physicians that I would be proud to send any one of my clients to. They treat the "whole person", as well as the problem you are having at the moment. I had gone online and got an appointment with Dr. Shah. I was diagnosed and treated all within one day. No waiting in a waiting room, I was able to connect with the doctor via telemed. I was comfortable having my appointment that way, there was no risk of catching anything from anyone in a waiting room, and that is very important to me because I am at risk to catch covid-19 being an asthmatic patient. Dr. Shah was wonderful and compassionate toward my needs at that time. Dr. Trivedi is an amazing pain management physician. I have had some pain management providers in the past and none of them care the way Dr. Trivedi does. He is open to trying new ways of treating pain and is very knowledgeable about all of the current treatments. I recommend him to all of our clients, my friends, and family. read more

I've been coming to Clear Wellness to get my COVID-19 PCR tests done during the pandemic, and have always had a great experience. The doctors, nurses, and staff had always been attentive and caring. However, I came in today (a Sunday) and had what seemed to be a student perform my nasal swab and it was very unpleasant. His glove broke while putting it on and didn't change it, and he went significantly further into my nostril than has ever been done during previous exams at this clinic. I'm in full support of having students in clinic, but ample training/preparation would be appreciated for an already uncomfortable and stressful experience. I still recommend Clear Wellness for COVID testing, but I'd note to come during the weekdays when ample nurses and licensed providers are available! read more

Clear Wellness Group popped up on an internet search when I was looking for a place that took appointments to do a Rapid Covid test. I made my appointment online and called to confirm my insurance information. When I explained to the nurse, on the phone, that this test was for travel purposes, she asked that I confirm that I should do the PCR test and not the Rapid test. After review, she was correct, it should have been the PCR. I went for my appointment, the nurse came out immediately, did the swab (woah, nasal swabs were woah) and sent me on my way. I had my results in the AM two days following. Clear Wellness saved me from having to take another COVID test by walking me through which one I needed and the results came back less than 48 hours later. This was a great experience! read more

I am extremely disappointed in this facility. My family went in for COVID nasal swab testing on Monday, November 23rd and still not have gotten our results (Today is November 29th). We have received no contact from the facility even after voicemails have been left for the office staff. Our Thanksgiving was ruined due to the fact we did not get our results in time. read more

This is a pure for profit scam. Appointments were badly made, check in, signage and testing were erratic at best. They say 72 hour results but then they ship the tests to California probably because it is cheaper for them and you do not get them back until 4 to 5 days. Then they only post reviews that are positive. I highly recommend you get your test elsewhere. read more
