A Tom's giant truck turned in front of me, which was fine. He then parked in front of a lot where they are doing work. Across from him on our very narrow street was parked a landscaper's truck and trailer. When I honked to let the Tom's driver know I needed to get through and he had not left enough room, he looked at the street, then gave large hand motions that effectively said, "I have a job to do, and you can just deal with it." He then proceeded to get in a dozer on the property to load trees that had been cut down into his truck to haul away. Within five houses of my own home, I had to turn in a driveway, turn around, go back the way I came, head to the next street, turn and go to the next major street, and approach my home from the other direction. All because this bozo has no concern for the people who live in the neighborhood in which he is working. I guarantee if I were a contractor, I would not hire Tom's Demolition Services.

Not only did the…read morecrew not arrive during that time, but I called at 9:15 to get an ETA the Representative, a young woman, Informed me the crew was running behind and she would send message for them to come after 10:30 AM. 10:30 AM came and went, and I called back at 10:44 AM to ask about an ETA. I was then informed that the crew would not arrive until between 1 PM and 2 PM... Which was not my scheduled appointment, and I was unavailable during that time. I told the representative that either I receive a discount or I would have to go with another company. The representative said "I think it's best that you go with another company because we already gave you a discount". Not only was this unprofessional, but to inconvenience me, a paying customer, due to their lack of time management and communication is extremely unprofessional. I informed the representative that I would like to speak with the manager regarding this issue and I still have not received a returned phone call. I did reschedule with another company, Garcia professional tree service, and they did an amazing job.

Two years ago, JPR took out a stump and trimmed all the trees in our yard and were wonderful. We…read morerecommended them to friends and, again, they were wonderful. I recently had JPR come and remove a tree from my yard. They got the job done but my yard is full of large dings, and they left a huge pile of the mulch from grinding the stump. They also ran over my neighbor's mailbox and destroyed it. It was replaced, but within a week the post was already coming apart. After two requests it doesn't look like anything has been done to get it back to its original condition. I'm so disappointed.

I had put 4 photos and listed all the items that needed removal, including a metal shed that needed to be broken down and removed. Rene Beltran from Road Runner Junk Removal responded with the lowest estimate. The other estimates from other companies were outrageous, so I had to go with Road Runner (especially since they already had a higher Yelp star rating than all the others that had responded). Rene and 2 other guys showed up around 1:30pm and finished within 2 hours. I've included 4 "before" pics and 3 "after" pics. $375 was my final total of metal shed (tear down/removal), items inside the shed, about 6-8 fence posts, a pile of cut branches from the nearby tree, and a small dead lemon tree. Rene was courteous and responded to texts. I felt bad that they worked in this Houston heat. But at least my backyard looks so much nicer now. Thanks, Rene! I was disappointed to find them closed so I rang their doorbell to see if anyone would answer. So after a couple of minutes this sweet lady opens the door and I asked if I can buy some firewood. She happily showed me the firewood for sale. I bought a $10 stack of oak wood in a wheel barrel. I got acquainted with Mr. Burton and he said, "Give that son a bigger stack." LoL, I didn't need to be greedy so I refused more. I did ask them if I can have some hickory chips to test the flavor on my next BBQ. Mrs. Burton was very generous in offering me a nice big log for hickory smoking. They offer mesquite, hickory, pecan wood for smoking your BBQ. She explained to me how to use the woods for barbecuing. There are at least 2 other places selling firewood at the corner of Richmond and Jeanetta. This is a house with stacks of firewood on display in WHEEL BARRELS. They range from $5-20 stacks and they are well worth it. I was comparing it to Kroger $10 stack. Kroger's was only half the size of what a $10 stack can be bought from here. They also offer trash hauling service, landscaping, tractor work, and driveway demolishing.
