During this process, I verified through state licensing records that Assurance Roofing did not hold an active contractor license. Independent inspectors and my insurance provider confirmed the same issue: improper drainage resulting in water pooling on the roof. They attempted to plow next snow & again terrible job. I have security cameras & they said they came to fix it & noone is on camera, but I was charged. I asked to cancel contract. They gave me 2 differ snow totals with differ $$ I asked to talk to owner James He sounded like he could care less. They also want to charge $250 to break contract. I have attempted to contact them numerous times & now no response. I still do not have my very small but refund they said I would get. I would not use them or recommend them. They do not do quality work! Thankfully I found someone else who does an excellent job for much less $$$ and I pay as he plows/shovels. He also contacts me when he is coming to house.

Actually let me rephrase that, charging top dollar for work not even completed. They billed me for work that I personally ended up doing with my family. Then when I confronted Kevin he said "pay me what you think we did". I paid him for the work completed, which was about 75% of the bill. The when the fall cleanup time came around, nowhere to be found. Like a shamed dog with his tail between his legs. No returned calls, and left the property in shambles. It is now December 16th and I still have no "fall cleanup service". Kevin does not have the decency to say that he will not be back. This is the service I expect from teenage boys, not a professional landscaper. I guess its very hard to accept the fact that he lied and was called out on his attempt of billing for work NOT completed.
