The work was acceptable, so I signed up for their $130/month recurring service (every 2 weeks for mowing and maintenance). The Problems: The no-shows started immediately. At least four separate times, they simply didn't appear on the scheduled day. When I'd text to ask what happened, the response was always the same: "I have you on the schedule tomorrow." No proactive communication. No acknowledgment of the missed appointment. Just excuses. Rain delays are understandable, but a professional service calls or texts to reschedule. Reed's never did. I have cameras on the property, so I know for certain they weren't coming out. The Real Issue: Despite not showing up, they kept charging me $130 monthly. When I noticed my yard looked terrible and contacted them for end-of-season leaf removal, I got the usual "I have you on the schedule tomorrow" line. No one came. No explanation. Then I was charged another $130 for December with zero work performed. I asked directly what I was being charged for over the last two months. Read receipts confirmed they saw my messages. They never responded. I requested cancellation and a refund for December since no work was done. Complete silence. I had to cancel my bank account to stop the unauthorized charges. Bottom Line: I'm out hundreds of dollars for services never rendered, my yard is a mess, and I have zero recourse because they simply stopped communicating once I questioned the charges. This isn't poor customer service. This is taking people's money and providing nothing in return. I want to support a local small business but cmon. Buyer beware.
