Replaced my cracked windshield. Shattered my car in the process. The evening of the replacement, my car broke apart due to faulty work. Their own guy even admitted he made a mistake by failing to re-clamp correctly, but the company insists the damage was pre-existing. 3 weeks and $3000 later, I now have to report it to DIFI, better business bureau, and small claims court. read more

When I submitted the coupon and receipt, I was told that they had no record of my coupon or the receipt from the tech who replaced my windshield. I just had my first experience with Clearview and it went awesome! My windshield has been cracked for months but my insurance didn't cover it. I was concerned about the out of pocket cost. I called 3 companies and Clearview was about $25 less than their competitors. In addition, they offer a free exterior detail at Cobblestone. Scheduling was easy and efficient. My technician, Ian, arrived on time and was very friendly and efficient. I think the whole appointment from beginning to end didn't even last an hour. It was really awesome. Very disappointed in the response from management to my tinted windows in my home. So I have 4 tinted windows total in my living room. Three of them by this company. Now there's problems with just those three windows and they're saying it's in my environment. . So why is the other window just fine?! Weird right? The best part? Someone comes out to check...agreed with my assessment but then tells me to 'be nice and not pushy' and the boss will make it right. Um, ok?!? Terrible experience. initially I had cancelled my appointment for the tint on my windows. they insisted I come back and give them an opportunity via text. They did all windows minus windshield, and the tint has been atrocious. The back window is completely ruined as it has bubbles and wrinkles on the film. i called customer serivice and they refused to schedule me to redo my windows. The back window looks like an incomplete job as it is not smoothed out, wrinkled and looks terrible for what I paid for it. "STAY AWAY" I bought my mother in law a 25 Toyota Corolla and took it to Jackson's where Clear View glass and tint added tint to the vehicle. I took the vehicle to them on Thursday 1/2: for an appointment which they missed. I went down to get the vehicle Friday night and the work was terrible, air bubbles in the tint the size of peas and folded corners. I asked they correct the issues or remove the film. I was told "No" we will not release your vehicle until you pay for the tint "poor job and all" then at a later date "Tuesday" 1/28 a manger will look and determine if the job is acceptable. Why just correct your poor work or take it off? I refused! Correct the work or take it off! Now Clear View will not release my vehicle back to us, and actually told us they'd call the police if we attempted to pick it up before Tuesday 1/27 (6days before a manger will look) so we're stuck grabbing a rental. Here is my review for them: Number one, First off they are connected to jackson's gas station or whatever it's called, Number two they will hassle you and hassle you until you buy a window replacement with them, that's what they do. They sell you windows and they will keep persistent on getting you to say yes and they make a commission which is like $50, Number three the reason why i know this stuff is i tried working here, the biggest red flags i encountered was the super super short-high pressure training, And guess what? You don't get to begin making commission UNTIL your day three, Oh and also forgot, i did make a sale on my day two BUT it was given to my trainer! After all the work i did to talk to the customer to buy, and did the paperwork my trainer informed me MY SALE WAS GOING TO HIM! How ridiculous is that? Pretty sketchy! and the other sales i did, the dispatcher bobby or whatever his name is stole my commission after saying to me "Oh, we will add it to your leaderboard" never saw it! So they stole commission from me. Do not work here, you will be belittled, and will be fired for speaking your mind or not making enough sales. Had a windshield replaced and noticed the tint they applied didn't adhere well. It was ugly and bubbled. Someone came out to look and they said they would fix it under warranty, so I drove to the store only to be told that the same thing would happen if they did it again. They blamed it on the frits (black dots) in the glass. They wound up putting on a visor strip to cover it up and it looked even worse. Then they tried to charge me for the visor strip. I'm not proud but I lost my cool and told them to just take it off because it looked like trash and I definitely wasn't going to pay for it. Someone that seemed to be in a management position heard me and intervened. He told the cashier not to charge me, thanked me for my business and said he hoped we would choose them in the future. Then he ruined it with a condescending statement, in an hour you won't even be thinking about your windshield and you can just go about your day. Well obviously he doesn't know me, because I've been stewing about this and couldn't have been happier when I caught a rock and the ugly thing cracked all the way down the drivers side. I got it replaced elsewhere, the new glass has frits (of course) and it is immaculate. read more

Scam!! They ruined my car and still asked me to pay more to fix the area they ruined!

Unbelievably bad customer service. After sitting at their office for over an hour I got my fleet vehicle "pre-approved" for the replacement of the windshield. I scheduled an appointment to get my windshield replaced. The technician showed up on time and was friendly. He told me it would take about an hour to replace. Everything seemed good to go. 15 minutes later the office calls and says they can't get ahold of the fleet to approve payment. It ends up they weren't calling the correct phone number. I made sure they had the correct number and asked them to let me know if they had any other issues. After about an hour and a half goes by, I decide to check to see how the new windshield is looking. The technician is not there, and the same old glass is on my vehicle. I called the technician to ask where he was and why I didn't have a new windshield and he was surprised to learn that the office had not called me. He said my vehicle required dealer glass and he didn't have that available. He said the office would call me back and explain. They never called. I have wasted an entire morning away from work so they can do absolutely nothing. Don't waste your time. There are better places out there. read more

I hired Clearview to replace the glass on my 2008 BMW M3. The car I literally had on my dream board and stared at for years countless hours to finally purchase and they molested the car. None of the weatherstripping matches up as it should. They broke a clip and blamed it on the previous technician even though the glass was original from the factory and had never been changed. Clearview refuses to stand by their work and won't even afford me the decency of a phone call. Stay 1000 miles away from this company. They will take your money and you'll never hear from them again. I am filing a complaint with a Better Business Bureau as well. read more

We got 3 windows tinted in our house back in June of 2023. It was blue tint but once it was done it was soooo dark. Our living room and kitchen are so dark now because of the blue tint. We have been trying to schedule a date to get the glass redone with a lighter shade and they told us they had 0 availability until January 2024. Here we are 6 months later in December and no one can confirm if they are coming by next month to re-assess and see what they can do for us. Poor customer service and unresponsive. They don't call us back. Don't waste your time. read more

Had 3 vehicles tinted here. My first a dodge ram. An all too familiar statement I've heard- "oh that's just a bubble it will disappear in a day or two". After my first debacle and 3 trips back, I went back 2 years later with a new vehicle. Fool me once, fool me twice. . . The edges of the windows looked like they were cut left handed and eyes closed. They took it back in and fixed it on the spot. Great, but only after a 2 hour wait. A month later brought in ANOTHER new vehicle. Same speech, but that "streak" with air, water, and obvious wrinkles was NOT going away, regardless of disclaimer. So yes, please fix before I left the shop, along with that obvious wrinkle (not air bubble) on the opposite window. I was shocked to see how bad the job was after waiting 5 hours this time! Fool me once, fool me twice, now THREE times?! I'm sorry but there is a trend of poor quality control at this shop and no one seems to inspect the work before signing off on it. Yes I know the difference between air, water and debris under the tint. And 9/10 it's been debris or a wrinkle in the tint that needed to be stripped and redone. I didn't mention that both my brand new vehicles had water stains on the seats, dash and doors that wasn't cleaned. All on vehicles barely a few days old. And my latest vehicle had sticky adhesive chunks all over the door and door jam. I'm pretty bummed I paid so much and kept going back thinking I'd have a better experience. My next vehicle will be visiting a different shop in the future unfortunately. read more

I was at Jacksons car wash two Saturdays ago, on Gilbert and Germann and spoke to a Clear View representative about fixing two windshields. There were two different employees, one that I spoke to first who said that this would be "free" and then another one who was helping him later on that talked to my insurance and found that there was $1000 deductible. I was then told the $1000 deductible would cover both cars and that I only had to pay one. Turns out that's a lie, so don't trust this company, they employ liars. I decided at the time to go ahead and do it anyway. We had an appointment for Saturday to fix the windshield on my Titan and my wife's Mazda3. The technician arrived, said he was there for the Titan, he didn't have any idea about the Mazda3. Turns out the sales person "lost" the documentation and the shop never received it. I received a text message from the sales person four days earlier saying that he was giving us a "free" UV shield since he was doing both cars. So obviously they knew that there was more than one car. The "free" UV shield also was not free. It's on the invoice, with a fee. I was later told by a customer service rep that it was "free" but there was a $50 install fee. Again, the sales rep lied. The technician replaced the Titan's windshield while I tried to get a hold of the sales rep, who did not answer my call nor the call from their customer service, at first. At this point I had to make a second appointment for the Mazda3, I had the invoice and sent it to the customer service rep. I also had both carbon copies from the sale rep. Unfortunately, the customer service rep "couldn't find" the second appointment. Once the sales rep finally decided to respond he told the customer service rep that there was a "misunderstanding", which there wasn't. I asked a specific question and he gave me an answer he knew was a lie. I was then told he would call me to "clear up" the issue. I told the phone rep not to bother to have him call because I was done with them and to cancel the second appointment. Do not trust anything this company tells you, end of story. read more

Stay away from these people. I was scheduled on 12/30 and the tech arrived with a damaged window, when he asked if I still wanted it I said no. The tech agreed that he would not want that glass for his car either. It was a 2 minute interaction; he rescheduled me and went on his merry way. The following day another tech arrived and installed my windshield when he was done I noticed that the rubber window seal was loose and ready to fall off. I told him, it went south from there. He proceeded to tell me that my car was a piece of sh!t and that the plastic had warped and would never again fit correctly. I told him that I had changed the windshield on my car many times and that it had never done that. He then said he was not an idiot and that he was the professional here, I told him that yes indeed he was the professional but that again, I had changed the windshield on my car and that the rubber seal had never looked like it was going to fall. He then proceeded to tell me that my car was almost 10 years old and that VW's were a piece a shit, I have a VW Jetta. By that point he was upset and threatened with calling his boss and I told him to please call him, he did not. He then started fixing the seal, which miraculously he was able to do. He then said 'that is why no one wants to work with me', this is my first (AND LAST) experience with the company so I am not sure 'why no one wants to work with me' and I really am not concerned. I had not booked my replacement with this company, I booked it with Safelite and these people showed up. I'll be calling Safelite next and will be putting in a Google review. STAY AWAY; worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life!!! THE TECH'S NAME IS AARON - MOST COMBATIVE PERSON I'VE EVER MET IN MY EXPERIENCE IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY. Quoted $380-ish for non ceramic and three hours of work to remove and add tint to a two door coupe. It took four hours, tint was peeling immediately and one window had a bug in it. Took it back in next day and they fixed it all in an hour. Wasn't ideal. read more
