I had my windows tinted last year and the bubbles from drying never went away. I reached out several times. He said he did stop to see it and it looks like it never dried properly. He said it was a warranty issue and every time I reached out it was like a new conversation. He said he was going to email the warranty company and follow up. I have all of the messages. When my son called to have him fix the windows due to bubbling that never went away after the drying process, they refused to correct the problem. I did use sierra window tint cuz the price was good. but it scrathed all up in a matter of 6 months; sideways, diagonal scratches so it wasn't from something internal or that would have been vertical scratches....they were mostly on the drives side and a few on passenger side but it comes from cheap tint that doesn't hold up to normal wear and tear. It also felt hot on my face so I had to buy extra suction cup sun blocker screens to put over the window tint. Owner said scratches were there because of my purse so I PAID to have it redone-ugh but still hot. Owner also tells you he uses top line brands but the brand is nowhere on the receipt. Nor is it on the back side of the window tint as he pulls it from the roll in his car. Good name brands have it on back of tint so watch for these brand names below. He's cheap and uses a very cheap tint that scratches and doesn't reflect the sun. buyer beware. the better tints were about $1,200-1,300 for tesla Sierra was about 800 On my next car i did more researched tints, warranties and asked lots of questions; 3m Christaleen, Expel or lummanar top brands with best ratings and ceramic. These new window feel much much less heat and hasn't scratched but time will tell. read more

My car looks fabulous!! Thank you! Ray came out to my house and he was extremely punctual, professional, friendly and skilled. He did an amazing job on my car in about an hour and a half and he took the time to explain the process to me and the difference in the various tint types on the market. I have an autoimmune disease that requires heavy sun protection (from the UV rays) and Ray took that into consideration and advised me on the level of tint to use on my car and how the different levels of tint darkness would affect my night driving views and my view out the back window. I have no friggen clue how or why some people have reviewed him so badly and those reviews make me throw a bit of a skeptical side-eye at the reviewer. My experience was nothing but wonderful and the price for my Volvo wagon was absolutely affordable and reasonable. (My window tint came with a nationwide warranty too.) When it comes to my car I normally put people on the chopping block when things go wrong.. I bought a LivingSocial deal. Did all my due diligence and even called to see if my car was difficult. We set a time. Ray actually picked the time (more like squeezed me in). This was the 1st indication I should of known better than to use the LivingSocial right away. 2nd - you just cannot control all the variables when doing things in a mobile environment. I am pretty sure Ray rushed my tint job. All my windows have tiny bubbles. My "extra" piece I had done has scratches from him trying to get all the bubbles out.. that drive me crazy. And it was near impossible to get a hold of him to have him come back out. I am pretty sure the influx of cars from the LivingSocial deal made him rush, made him hard to have come back out, and take a look. Here is the take away... If you REALLY care about your car, mobile tint is not the right method. 2nd beware when buying services from small vendors that are not able to handle the extra work. 3rd - follow up. Stay on the vendor till its done right. I ended up listening to him and waited 6 weeks for the bubbles to cure and ended up getting a rock in my windshield and need it redone now. Solid product, but horrible service. Several bubbles were left on my cars back windshield, I tried to get the bubbles corrected via the owner but he consistently failed to return my calls. Finally, after nearly 2 months of trying to get a hold of him, I left him a message threatening to dispute the charges with my credit card company, I received a call from Ray advising me (rather rudely) that I would have to contact the tint manufacturer to take care of the "defect" (bubbles that were in fact left during the original tinting procedure). I did get a wonderful replacement tint on my back windshield by one of the tint manufacturer's installers who advised me that Ray should have had no problem in correcting his mistake. Do NOT be fooled by the unscrupulous responses he has left under his unfavorable reviews trying to make it seem like it was the customer's fault. His comments alone should be an indication of the level of service you can expect; because last time I checked the customer is always right-right? read more

My boyfriend called the shop after seeing a Groupon from this company to get a quote. They quoted him $125 plus tax for his car which was a Toyota MR2 convertible. It sounded like a good deal so we decided to buy the Groupon. Then my boyfriend called again to schedule an appointment to get the tint done and they were trying to charge him $150 plus tax this time. They said it would be the same price as a truck!!!! Whattt?! These are tiny windows compared to a truck!!! Very dishonest customer service so we just canceled the Groupon. We will go somewhere else. read more

We communicated via email over the course of a few days to setup a time and place to meet, he adjusted his schedule for me when I had a conflict, and was very friendly and knowledgeable when we did meet. I shopped around online for a few days prior to selecting his service and was at first a little hesitant. He honored a deal that others may not have and he appeared to truly care about providing the right level of tint rather than making a quick dollar and getting out of there. Tint went on solidly and the care sheet given to us gave the standard tips on how to achieve the best results (don't roll down windows, etc.). Service was prompt, Ray communicated very well, and overall provided better service than I'd expect from a mobile shop. Would not hesitate at all to recommend again. We set up a date and time, with a follow up call prior to the appointment. Ray came to my residence and hand cut, instslled the tint after we discussed the shading options. Ray showed up right on time, was polite and professional. The job was completed on site in about an hour. He was quick to redo my driver window when he realized the film had a defect as it was the first piece off a new roll of product. After completing the job, he provided written information about the product care and warranty. The price was the same as agreed upon over the phone prior to service. The reason I can only give him two stars is because of what happened a week later. I followed the instructions he provided to me at the time of service. I did not roll down the windows or wash the car for a week, which was longer than he said I should wait, just to be safe. The windows still had what appeared to be water bubbles, which was expected because he had informed me of this, however, they were supposed to be dry and gone after about three days. I called Ray and asked him about the bubbles and he said that they should be gone and he would come by to check it out that Friday. I called him on Friday afternoon as requested to remind him and was forced to leave a voice mail. The following week I had not heard from Ray so I called him again at which time he advised me that he would come by on Saturday afternoon to check out the bubbles and replace the tint if needed. I did not hear from on Saturday as planned. It has now been almost six weeks since the tint was installed. I understand that no tint job can be perfect and there will sometimes be spots or specks in the film, however, this is not the case. These are bubbles from either air or trapped water and there are a lot of them. There is also a spot that looks to be rolled up glue from the previous film he removed stuck under the tint about the size of a small finger nail. I keep looking at other cars with tint and do not see anything like this and I do not like the way it looks. I would really like this matter resolved but what can I do? Ray, if you read this, I'm not mad, I would just like to get this taken care of as soon as possible please. I will update this if possible when the matter has been resolved. Thanks, David read more

Worst tint ever, Met the owner Ray, He seemed like a nice guy boy was I wrong ,in a nutshell the tint was much darker then we asked for and there were two large air bubbles .My bad we left for vacation an hour after he did the job so we didn't check it for three days (just trusted him) when I Called him he said I was wrong and it was the correct shade ( we asked him to match our other car's tint same model ) it was very easy to see it didn't match.four times I called and he never came to even check his work his customer service sucked. We had a professional tint service out that verified the tint wasn't even close and the bubbles should have been fixed right away. Let me start by saying that I LOVE the Madico tint that I purchased via GroupOn from Sierra Window Tinting. Living in Arizona, having quality tint is a luxury well worth having. However, this isn't a product review, it is a service review. While the installation process went smoothly, like David L. (another Yelp reviewer) I noticed some sizable bubbles in my back windshields tint. I initially got a hold of Ray about a week after installation (End of January) and he agreed to come out an look at the bubbles and presumably replace/fix the tint, he never followed-thru. I called and left voicemails for the past 3 months, never received ANY follow up messages. Today I called and left him a voicemail stating that unless I heard back from him I'd be disputing the charges with my credit card company. Sure enough, he called back quickly and left me a message claiming that he had in fact called me over the last few months and left several voicemails (a verifiable lie, I checked my phone records to be sure). Secondly, he advised me that I would now need to have the window serviced via Madico's Warranty Service. If this was the case, why wasn't I informed of this initially? Why would he tell me that he would come out to try and fix the issue? It shouldn't take 3 months to have learned this information, I should have been told right away. After reading David L.'s review, I am forced to conclude that this type of service is not uncommon. Sierra Window Tint did a great job. I had the tinting done about 8 months ago and I waited to write a review until after the summer season to see how things held up. Well I am happy to say things are great! The tint had a few minor bubbles for about a month, but they all disappeared. This guy has made me wait over a month while trying to get my two vehicles tinted after I bought their voucher off of living social. Today would make the 2nd time he cancelled on me claiming "his van broke down" seems convenient that this happens on Fridays... He is over booked from the living social deal and cannot keep up with his bookings yet he stated to me after I finally was able to reach him after the first broken van cancelation that he was out of town... Personally if I had that much business I would handle it. So after two last minute cancelations , numerous unreturned phone calls and bullshit excuses about a broken down van I posted this! DONT USE THIS JOKER. If you are fortunate enough for his van to be running you may get your windows tinted... But judging from the previous review his work is also suffering from broken van/I'm overbooked/have to go out of town syndrome. Use a more reliable company. Ray is not good at keeping appointments. He no-showed for the first appointment we had and never called. When I set up the next one, he was late. I used a groupon for his service and he charged me extra to get the tint that he recommended. It is an old scam where business lure you in and then upsell you. Oh well. He also did not do the job I asked him to do. I asked him for front windshield tint and he put in limo tint so I could hardly see out of the front of my car. I paid him to redo it and he still put on the wrong shade after I specifically told him what to do. His excuse was that he knew best and I wouldn't like it.
