However, the office staff and overall organization need serious improvement. There are times when staff appear to be socializing, talking about personal matters, happy hour, and other non-work-related conversations while patients are waiting. I have also seen staff standing around while patients are sitting there waiting to be checked in or prepared before seeing the doctor. The scheduling process does not make sense. If a patient arrives late, they are told they cannot be seen, but if you arrive early for a 10:00 AM appointment, you may still not be checked in or prepared until around 11:00 AM. It is a huge let down when you are already sick and have to deal with the whole hassle of insurance paperwork and waiting to be seen, but it was a relief to see a set up like N.Y.
