They said it was due to being backed up from the harsh winter. I was willing to wait and saw them several weeks later doing my neighbors windows. I approached them about our future appointment. Not to get moved up, but just to make conversation. The guy was nice enough to do my house that same day because he said it worked for them to knock it out. They did a great job and charged me and my neighbor (similar townhouse) the same amount of $200. This year we both rebooked with Fish and again long wait times, but I am loyal to good work even though they are higher in price compared to their competition. On cleaning day I had a lovely exchange with Dan (co-owner) and asked if while he was up on his ladder (next to the window) if he would cut two small branches from my Aspen tree. He said "no problem and was happy to help". I gave him $16 bucks cash and asked if that seemed fair. He was thrilled to make $16 for less than 10 min, maybe 5 minutes worth of work. Quick math that's about a $100 bucks an hour, not bad. He was happy and I was happy to get it done! Why the one star review? This year my bill went up 13%. That seemed high so I called my neighbor to see if her rates went up as well. Nope, she paid the same rate. So I wondered why was I being price gouged? I emailed the owner and asked if there was a mistake. He relented and told me fine pay what you paid last year, but my costs are going up and I need to raise my prices. Hmmmm.... I understand that and if my neighbors rates went up too I would have paid without question, but this made no sense to me. If you are going to raise your prices do so fairly and without bias. What possible justification is there really? No heads up before they came out that there prices had gone up. It just doesn't sit right with me the way this went down. I believe I was randomly charged an arbitrary amount because Dan thought I had money to burn, plane and simple. He could see that I work from home in an expensive neighborhood. So I must be rich, I must be one of those evil Californian techies the Bend locals love to hate. Unfair and discriminatory business practices, I hope to help others avoid being treated this way.

This company does not have a business license in Bend yet conducting "business"…read more My wife scheduled Crystal Clear Cleaning for a 10:00 AM window cleaning appointment. Around 9:30 AM, they called to say they had arrived early. She told them she would be home by 10:00 and specifically asked them not to block the driveway because she needed access to the garage. When she arrived at 10:00, the two technicians had already entered our private property and started working before anyone was home. One had a ladder blocking the garage. Both men were wearing earpieces, making it difficult to get their attention. After several attempts, my wife lightly tapped the ladder so the technician would hear her and asked him to move it. Instead of a professional response, he said, "Yeah, I got nothin' better to do." When she told him that he was on private property and that speaking to a customer that way was inappropriate, he replied, "You f...n' tapped my ladder." The other technician then said, "Let's leave," and my wife agreed. They left after only partially cleaning one upstairs window, leaving it streaked and looking worse than before. Since then, we've received repeated phone calls, and someone from the company came to our home pounding on our front door. We never signed a contract, and based on our experience, we cannot recommend Crystal Clear Cleaning. We encourage others to use caution before hiring this company.

For 6 years I have given this business complete access to our home even when we were thousands of miles away. I trusted them! But unfortunately, the last time our windows were cleaned the job was not to our satisfaction as usual. I called Amy (best thing they have going!) and we schedule to have someone come back out to redo. The day of the cleaning I was still asleep at 8a when owner, Chris arrived instead of around 10a as was schedule. Aggressive, bitter and griping for the inconvenience of the hour drive (great way to wake up!), CHRIS MADE ME UNCOMFORTABLE IN MY OWN HOME! Months later Chris called to collect on an invoice we were late to pay sent via email. I provided payment over the phone. HE THEN THREATENED TO ADD A $100 TIP since he "had to" drive an hour to clean up a shotty job by HIS employees! When I questioned him and called him out on being professional Chris got more agitated to which point I hung up. He called back several times, left a message saying "You misunderstood me. It was just a joke, I was kidding you!" Don't you hate that stuff?! I sure do! He attempted to connect through a different number minutes later. I BLOCKED all the numbers. CHRIS, One thing's for sure it's CRYSTAL CLEAR I'll NEVER USE you or any business you ever own again!
