Ryan, the owner, and his team were friendly, professional and clean cut. They were efficient and took great care in ensuring my furniture and items were not harmed in transit. Moves are difficult enough without the movers being a problem, too, so Just Solutions gets my highest marks considering they made the move so easy, really a piece of cake. And we had a bunch of stairs both coming and going. When an issue did arise, it was handled quickly and easily. This is a can-do bunch! Hire them; you'll be glad you did.

I did not receive a call back until July 7th. When I spoke with them on the 7th they made an appointment with me to come out on the morning of July 9th to evaluate what needed to be packed and moved. They didn't show up and didn't call me to let me know they were not coming. I called them the next day to see what happened and left them a voice message because no one answered. Today is the 14th and I still haven't heard a thing from them. They may be great movers of your belongings IF they call you back and IF they show up to their appointments. It is the summer and I understand they are very busy but all they needed to do on the 7th when I spoke with them is to tell me that they are scheduled to capacity and could not take on any more clients. Taking on more than you can handle and then failing to meet modest expectations is not a great business strategy.

I appreciate the initial meeting with their move coordinator and felt like that process was easy and well/communicated. The pricing was about what I expected for my cross-country move. The team that came to pack and load my stuff was awesome and is the main reason I would recommend the company overall. They showed up on time, communicated well, and knew what they were doing. That said, some of my stuff was ridiculously packed...wrapped in layers and layers of paper and then wrapped in packing tape very VERY tightly. And this was for plastic containers of things like moisturizer. Lots of non-fragile things were unnecessarily wrapped up, in my opinion, and this made it tough to get unpacked later. Because I had a cross-country move, I was given a range of delivery dates, which was fine with me. But at some point of the trip I was updated with an actual delivery date, and they missed this. I get that in the big picture of a massive move like this a missed delivery day won't ruin my life. But a lot of planning and expectation gets pretty rattled and quickly kills the excitement of settling in a new city. So for me, this was a HUGE miss on their part. I realize the missed delivery wasn't the fault of the individuals I was working with but could be chalked up to big corporate scheduling to maximize profit. Nonetheless, it's frustrating for me as the consumer. I was also disappointed that I never heard from my move coordinator once I contacted him about the messed up delivery. I felt like I didn't have an advocate and was just at the mercy of whatever. That really sucked, in my opinion. Anyway, I would recommend this company for local moves for sure. For out of state stuff, I don't think my experience would have been all that different t with another shipper, so I think my recommendation is to just ignore all "dates" you get and don't put any plans in place that would require dates to be met. Tough to do sometimes, but I'm afraid the issue isn't solvable.

For those moves we used Prestige Moving and Storage, the Allied agent in Bend. Each time we had a stellar experience for the packing and moving being carefully executed. They did exactly what they said they would do, exactly as they promised to do it and every person we worked with, from management to office staff to the guys doing the heavy lifting were professional and friendly. Given we needed to store furniture and belongings with them for a few months each time, we also had a top notch experience using Prestige for that service as well. All in all, at each step we felt as if our belongings were treated as carefully by the Prestige team as if they were their own. In fact our experiences with Allied were the best we've had of the several interstate and intrastate moving experiences before moving to Bend. We are hoping to move from Bend in the not too distant future and Prestige will be the company we'll use for that move too because we trust them to do it right. There may be movers who do as good a job as Prestige, but in all our years of experience, we haven't found a mover who does it better.

The main guy arrived late and the new guy stood around not knowing what to do. The one guy was new, so I get that he did not know what to do, however, the other guy said that he has been with the company for a while. However, we did not know that they would take twice as long and that this would be a training session. We offered to help to make things go faster, however, he said that he did not want us in his way. Very disrespectful. I had antique furniture and explained that to them but the one guy who had been with the company longer, dismissed me and while I am standing right there, he tells the "newbie" to ignore what the customer says and that you just need to pack the truck. When they finally got done, they charged up an extra $450 for the "overage" of time. I told him that was not our fault that you were taking longer because you had to train someone. However, he did not care and told them (the office) to charge our card. We also kept telling them that they needed to hurry up as the other crew that is unloading will be waiting. Well when we finally got going and the other crew was waiting for us so that they could unload, we found several things damaged. I had a box that said "Fragile" was shoved into spots that it should not have been. Precious items that I have had for over 20 years, broken and destroyed. Items that were my late mothers, gone and I can't replace those memories. So, it did not matter if it says fragile. Our kitchen table scrapped/scratched and chunks of it gone. I am not sure what they were doing, but we had to be a new table as this one was destroyed. Even though this crew was better and more respectful, when they were moving things into the home, they hit the walls and put gauges in the wall. So, now we had to repair the wall. They also allowed us to help unload the truck too. My antique furniture broken and can't be repaired, fragile items crushed and irreplaceable. So many items are broken due to the carelessness and disregard. I am devastated! We reached out to the owner and nothing. So, do not ever use this company!!!

We all have these moments of insanity where the cheap ass inside of us thinks we can save money by doing something ourselves. Don't lie - you know that feeling. Just accept it. We all do it. So I thought to myself "Self, you can rent a truck and carry furniture into the truck to drive across town to the consignment shop." Either my "self" was heavily medicated or insane because when you think about it - it's stupid. I just got out of the hospital and I really considered this. I came to my senses and used the handy dandy Yelp quote request to seek local business who could help me with my moving project. "The early bird catches the worm" rings true here. We live in a time where instant gratification is a major decision influencer so naturally the first businesses to respond immediately get taken seriously. Cross Town movers responded quickly, had the best price, professional demeanor, and I got the sense they were going to make my furniture move an easy one. I like easy. Easy makes me happy. I'm still recovering from the hospital. 2 clean cut uniformed men came to my house ready to work! In fact, they were a little early which was great. They carefully wrapped breakables/glass and strategically loaded the truck to ensure my furniture would be unharmed. Once everything was out of my house they took it to the consignment shop. My husband got a phone call when they arrived there and when they finished unloading. 2 hard working, professional, friendly men helped me. I trusted them in my home with my furniture. I didn't feel the need to follow behind them to the consignment shop to watch them unload because the time they spent in my home earned my trust. Good people can do that. It was worth every penny I paid. Don't be crazy - leave the heavy lifting to the professionals. Literally. Cross Town Movers is a such wonderful asset to my other home community in Bend, Oregon. The boxes stack easily, protect my belongings and it made it so easy for me to keep track of my stuff. The rolling cart made it so easy for me to load many boxes in one trip!
