I wanted to give this two stars, but everything was 3-quality except one thing... I came here with a girlfriend for an apple picking adventure. We got two coupons from www.buywithme.com and used one of them ($25 value) for picking apples. The apples, in several varieties were very tasty and the orchard was clean, well-kept and the man they had working out there was very helpful in directing what apples varieties were where. The apples were worth the trip. The second coupon we used on farm store goods. This excluded bakery and jams--basically you could only buy produce. We got several large heirloom tomatoes, a basket of small heirloom tomatoes, onions, egglplants, shallots, bell peppers and a few other things, which so far, have all been great. Also on our visit, we checked out the pumpkins, ate a cider donut, which wasn't very cider-y and mostly just covered in sugar, ate a pumpkin-choc chip cookie (5 stars for that thing) and scoped out the cider. You can have b-day parties here, too. I wanted to give this place two stars because the owner was curt, unfriendly and in my opinion, rude. She seemed more annoyed with the people than interested in helping. I did not see her crack one smile. All in all, the day was lovely with my friends, but probably won't come back due to unfriendly owner and I'm sure there are other comparable

A small, family run farm. A great place to pick apples, pumpkins and berries. Delicious baked good and a few adorable farm animals. Beautiful, quintessential place!

Wonderful selection of apples- perfect for a day of apple picking with the kids. And don't forget about their apple cider donuts.

We also bought a lot of the fresh produce & food at the farm store and it was all delicious! The lady at the register told us that the corn we bought would be the "best we ever had" and it really was! They also have gluten free ravioli in the freeze, something I've never had before! It was delicious. Since it is fall now, we picked up two pumpkins that are a nice decoration for our porch.

Just pulling in the driveway takes you away from it all, you can see the beautiful flowers and produce in the fields, flags flapping in the breeze. Despite being small, Indian Head Farm has a lot to offer. You can select local plants-perennials, vegetable plants and more on the front porch and in the greenhouse. The best items available here are the berries! In early summer they have strawberries and then come the blueberries, & the black, red, and Golden raspberries-impossible to pick a favorite. You can find the already picked half pints and pints in the store or you can pick your own. The nice thing about Indian Head Farm is that there are no other distractions or amusements besides picking. So if you have children with you and want a much quicker in an out than at some other local farms where you can end up being there all day, this is a great place to go. IHF has their own farm grown vegetables as well as some brought in from local farms. They also offer regional honey, their own jams and jellies, as well as some nuts, dried fruit and frozen fruits & pies. You can also purchase regional cheeses and even birdseed. If you are lucky and arrive when they have their fresh muffins right out of the oven make sure you treat yourself, they are delightful. COVID-19 Note: This is a very small storefront but they have done a great job of making sure everyone is safe. To enter the store there is a handwashing station and mask are required to enter the store. The store is laid out in directional patterns so that everyone can keep their distance. First time I was here I was just blown away, so the next session up I went right back. It seems very clean, they're open to the public and have probably the cleanest porta potties I've ever seen in my entire life. Bravo! I can't wait to visit for Apple picking season. Despite the one hour drive, I'll be back!

At the very back is a gazebo that a couple was using for an engagement photoshoot while we were there. Easy to see why when it's surrounded by rolling hills. The apples were ginormous. Like, gigantic. Especially the honeycrisp. I picked one to eat and could only finish half of it!! Prices are reasonable. The size of the bags are odd though....I got a bag that was supposed to fit 16 and it only fit 5. Huh?? Just readjust your expectations. They also have a hayride that takes you on a tour through the orchard and he talks about the history of it. Make sure you sit near the speaker since it's hard to hear over the engine. The store was stocked with the obvious. Apple cider, apple butter, caramel apples. There's also a little food truck outside. ALL fried foods so don't expect anything healthy. It was a wonderful experience!
