Wow...it was more than I expected but ok. My leather jacket was going to take a month (they have to send it out for cleaning? I think....) and I knew it was going to be around $55. I had a Cleary coupon stating "20% off ALL Outerwear Jackets, Coats and Parkas! This is an amazing Fall Savings! No Limits - Does not apply to Blazers and Sportcoats." Verbatim. I arrive there today for my coat with my 20% outerwear coupon and was told 'NO'. No coupons for leather jackets. I said that it doesn't say that on the coupon. She said but it won't work. I asked why not....the coupon says No Limits - does not apply to Blazers and Sportcoats. She said no, no leather coats. This is not right....and, it forces me to engage in a conversation that I dont want to have over 20%. I hate feeling duped.

I've come in many times to grab quarters and come back with my clothes since I have to sit there and watch them so no one steals them and each time he makes a remark I refuse to go back. Who wants to sit there with a man who just harassed you about using a quarter machine?? And doesn't even say hello, before making rude remarks. I will never ever spend another quarter there let alone walk into that mess of a place. It's not taken care of at all and the dryers and washers smell. Good luck to anyone who ventures there. P.S. The whole team does an amazing job, but this one particular guest made a terrible mess of the unit. They made stains all over the beige upholstery as well as the wool oriental rug. They left stickers everywhere. They didn't take out the trash. They left dirty dishes, and pots and pans. Stains on the sheets. It was just terrible. They didn't follow any of the House rules and I had somebody checking in the very next day. They went so far above and beyond worked an extra five hours to complete the cleaning and get everything taken care of spic and span and perfect so when the new guests checked in the next day, there were no troubles at all and they were very happy with everything. They truly saved me from a terrible jam and I would recommend them to anyone!

The Bad---Missy charges more than almost anyone else in Concord. So unless you can afford super high prices, shop around. Almost everyone else charges less. The Ugly---Missy sends out automated messages a day or so before your scheduled cleaning, communicating a clear 30 minute arrival window. While this worked well for a few months, lately Missy's cleaners have failed to show up---either at ALL or ON TIME. That wouldn't be so bad if---Missy had had the courtesy to contact us, her customers, simply alerting us that the scheduled cleaner wasn't going to show up. But no, there was NOTHING, which caused us to waste time on several cleaning days. To make matters worse, Missy refused to acknowledge the 30 minute windows she provided in her own text messages, as if they don't even exist. Instead, she clung to some arcane language in her invoices, language that she claimed to provide 1 hour arrival windows. Missy literally contradicted her own written promises to customers......and WORST OF ALL, when I pointed this out to her (politely at first) she fired me---as a customer, because she didn't like "the tone" of my text response! Bottom line---Missy is a lousy businessperson. While her cleaners are good at what they do, Missy makes promises she cannot keep (like arrival times) and then she has the nerve to blame you, the customer, for calling her out for this unprofessional behavior. STAY AWAY from Home in Hand, unless you don't mind cleaners not showing up, or getting rude and unprofessional customer service from Missy.
