Wonderful smash burgers highly recommend I daydream of them. Will definitely be back!

We came in for lunch on a weekday, soon after they began serving lunch for the day and they were steady with business. The guy at the register was very helpful with the menu and suggestions. They were quick to make our food and we enjoyed it there. They make smashburger style meat for their burgers and it was nicely seasoned. The texture was on the dry side though. The buns and toppings were great. There fries were also very nice, crunchy, and spiced well. This is mostly a carry-out joint, but they have a couple of tables inside to eat at. I'm still giving this a 5 even though it's more like a 4 star. First of all, I understand the lack of consistency, considering that two people can't work at the same place at the same time. But whoever is grilling the burgers at the other location is who is keeping me coming back. Other than that, other location is farther from me, it's worth a drive. What I really like about this place is the fresh meat and the disclaimer about the meats and how it's prepare. Well, I didn't like this time around is at the meat lacked seasoning, and the meat did not have that crispy edge or the juiciness in comparison to the other location. Unfortunately, I will not be back to this location unless I'm really thirsty for a good burger. If this is your first time at this location, then yes it's delicious. It's one of the best burgers in Cleveland. If you visit the other location first you're definitely gonna be disappointed when you go to this one. read more

Heard this grill/store was good so we had to take a trip to CleaveLand! Dude at counter was nice & fast & explained clearly the highlights. For my 1st visit I got a double smash & added toppings. Wife got an egg & cheese croissant. Shared the fries which were extra crispy & seasoned well w/ a tasty side of homemade dipping sauce - yum. After ordering I noticed some beef bacon while perusing the meat coolers & asked the guy about the bacon options which he informed they are all non-pork. I said I didn't even notice it on menu & he asked if i want it on my burger & before I could finish saying "next time" the other guy came out & said "I'll add it on the house"! Sweet. The burger was awesomely made & huge & so satisfying. The beef bacon was a great add on. The strange thing was the eggs on the croissant were chopped up vs. an oozy cheesy one we saw on TikTok so apparently the cheese was missing. Restrooms & dining tables were well kept. Food was excellent. The samosas available were vegetarian or beef so beef I got. It was delicious and crispy with a pleasant heat. The burger I got beef and fries. The fries has a seasoning that I lived but the salt in it didn't love me. I enjoyed it enough that I'll get it again though. The burger was good. Nothing outstanding but good and many places don't even do good anymore. The gentlemen were all friendly and helpful. The only bad thing is that the handicap spots are on a hill and not the flat area in front. My mom almost fell in the parking lot due to it being uneven and sloping in the handicap area. read more

In my opinion, this place serves the best burger in Greater Cleveland! I got the double burger, which came with 2 perfectly crispy yet juicy smashed beef patties, cheese, and a flavorful sauce. But unlike some burger places, CleaveLand's burger doesn't have to rely on the sauce to bring the flavor. The patties themselves were well-seasoned and plenty delicious on their own. The fries are also fantastic here. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. And even better when dipped into that sauce. The staff here is always friendly. The place is a little small and cramped due to it also being a small grocery store, but what the restaurant lacks in ambiance, it more than makes up for it with the utter deliciousness of the burger. read more

I seen the restaurant on TikTok. Of all places. So I had to check it out. And boy am I glad I came out here. I didn't know what to expect so I was just going by faith it would be great. And I can attest. It wasn't just great. It was amazing. The flavors all went together perfectly. I ordered the Triple Fusion burger. Which was a chicken and beef and lamb burger. I couldn't believe the flavors. The burger is not an eat in the car burger. It is a little sloppy to do that. But if you find a table and take your time. You will enjoy every part of the sandwich. It looks great. It smells great. The fries were seasoned perfectly and fried even more perfectly. I loved them just as much as the fries. The prices wasn't terrible. When here for lunch to give it a try I'm glad I did because it was absolutely worth the trip for lunch it has some groceries you can also get for here you can sit inside or you also sit outside if you would like to I got a double smash burger and loaded fries needless to say I was so full I did not need to eat for the rest of the day period lol and also to mention the meat use is halal which is an Islamic practice when slaughting cows the cow is slaughtered humainly so It minimizes pain and suffering here's why it's a good thing since I'm a journeyman meatcutter and have been for 18 years I know alot about cows and ect. Think of it this way before an animal is slaughtered depending on if it is highly stressed it causes an increase in glucose, cortisol, and catecholamines when can the be ingested by people eating the food so in essence giving us higher levels yes the hormones are being broke down in your digestive system and people will tell you it does not enter your blood stream but you are digesting food so yes it can raise our levels of hormones also people have to use common sense but that's not so common these days take it from me I should know I've been in this trade for a very long time all in all the food is very worth it you should try it it's fulfilling and very good I have to say read more

I ordered the single patty smash burger. I thought it would be enough food because the burger looked big, but I do not recommend the single patty because the meat is extremely thin. This burger is not filling at all. You may want to get the double patty if you're hungry. It tasted good. The service was nice. It's not a full style restaurant. We were greeted immediately upon entering. The place was clean and inviting. We saw them online and decided to try them out. We tried the lamb burger and a cheeseburger and fries. Everything was cooked fresh and it was so tasty even after an almost 30 minute drive home. The fries were so good. I also purchased a few items from the grocery section. Weren't fully prepared for what we walked into. A small little shop that was a blend of both convenient shop and restaurant. Two sets of picnic tables that could seat about 8 people at each and a counter with a big sign above with the menu and two gentlemen ready to take your order. The place was busy. There were a few people ahead of us in line and people already seated at the tables. We looked over the menu trying to decide on what to try and then placed our order. Drinks come from the cooler at the front of the store so you may as well grab them before you head to the counter to place your order. We found an open spot at the picnic table by the door. If it's winter be warned you'll want to have your coat with you to sit there. Within what seemed like 5 minutes we heard our name called and they brought us our food. It comes out bagged up and ready to go but you can stay to eat there which we did. They have ketchup on the tables and napkins which you'll need. You'll know why once you try it. We opened up our food containers and were delighted with the look of the sandwiches we each had ordered. Big and inviting! The fries looked good and they were too. Crispy and slightly seasoned. I chose a Patty Melt and I cannot even describe the happiness that came from my messy hands while eating it. Just the right mix of saucy and greasy! Perfectly sized and absolutely delicious. I ate every single bite. Even snatched up the onions that tried to slip out into my tray. It comes with their special house made sauce in a small container. I tasted it but preferred to eat my fries with ketchup. The burger was so perfect on its own I didn't dare add anything else. Only thing I may have added was a bit of salt but we didn't see any. Other than that the burger was terrific. My husband ordered a triple smash burger and loved every bite of it as well. Also needed plenty of those napkins but we wouldn't want it any other way. He's an absolute burger lover and I know that if we were in the area we would stop again and I would have no objections. This is a great little spot. Stayed busy the entire time we were there. By far one of the best Burgers you can get in the area. There are a few, but if you like a "smash burger" style burger, these guys are LEGIT. I first tried them when they were at the previous location (in Parma, on Snow Rd.) and I was so excited when they opened up even closer to me, in Strongsville. But honestly, even if you're just driving by, driving through, or looking for a place that has some amazing Smash burgers when you are in the CleveLAND area, this place is a MUST try. Please don't be fooled by the fact that it's a small little "grocery store" front in a plaza... this place turns out some juicy, perfectly seasoned and delicious patties with fresh buns, gooey cheese, house made sauce, and all the fixings. Their Menu is very big, but it should be noted that they offer Halal meat: Beef and Lamb - which is very good quality! They are always friendly and efficient with their orders. They seem to always be busy around Lunch/Dinner time, so since there are a few small picnic-style tables inside (group seating) and a couple of tables outside, I always call my order ahead. It is ALWAYS ready when promised (usually within 10-15min) which is how long it takes me to get there. I don't know what kind of "magic" they are doing back there, at the grill in the kitchen behind their counter, but everything that comes out of there is always piping hot, fresh, and delicious! Please give them a try and forget everything you thought you knew about smash burgers before... this place will change your mind (and your life)! Whoa! This place blew me away so unexpectedly. Our normal go-to lunch was closed, so we had to force ourselves to try somehwere new, but what a surprise we found! This halal grill was absolutely spectacular, and we'll definitely be back! This place is inside a grocery store, and it can be a little confusing as to how to get started. Just go to the counter right next to the door, and the menu is displayed above the register. You place your order there, and then there's a little space to eat at the center of the grocery store. There are a few tables, but we got the impression that we were expected to bus our tables ourselves which was no problem. A few things about ordering off the menu - All the burgers and chopped cheese come with fries, so it can be a big meal. In retrospect, we (three of us) would have preferred to order just burgers and a chopped cheese and split fries between us, but it's unclear if this is an option. The menu could use some clarity here. The loaded fries were pretty good, but honestly, I preferred them plain. They were seasoned so well. It didn't need anything else. For those who got the cheeseburgers, people were happy with their meal, but one bit of my chopped cheese with beef and they were envious of my choice. It'll the the one I stick with in the future. My one drawback? There's an incredibly loud beeping that comes from the kitchen (partitioned with a "wall" from the rest of the grocery store). I think it's the fryer to indicate when they're done, but oof it's annoying. If they could do something about that, I'd love it, but the food was still so good, I can do my best to just ignore it. You should absolutely come here. If you're looking for a good halal burger, this place is absolutely worth driving out of the way for. Yelp continues to be my guiding foodie light when I'm wandering astray. The five star rating along with many raving comments from friends led me in this burger haven. Never ever ever judge a book by its cover. I've driven past this place many a times not knowing what kind of grilling acumen this place has hidden. Looks like a grocery store from the outside and yes there's some Indian grocery inside (fresh vegetables, some of the longest fresh okra I've ever laid my eyes on, many tantalizing Indian desserts, milk, eggs, noodles. It's not a huge place (about the size of a convenience store). At the side of the store is the grill, place your orders up front at the cash register. The aroma of grilled onions is the first to greet you at the door. There a few outdoor bench seating and maybe 3-4 small tables if you want to eat inside. We ordered the beef hamburger, chicken Philly and rib eye Philly. All came with seasoned fries and the grand total out us back just over $50. The rib eye Philly alone was $24.99 but easily one of the best I've ever had. It's just good quality meat, very heavy and you will make a mess. It's about a foot long and half the sandwich alone was quite filling. The chicken Philly was well seasoned, I dare to say maybe a bit dry, but just as long as the rib eye Philly, you get a mountain of protein. Both came with seasoned fries (sort of reminded me of a better Rally's seasoned fries) with a very nice crunch to them. The burger was what drew me in to this meat Mecca. The raving reviews from countless satisfied customers did not disappoint and worthy of every accolade. It was a Memorial Day special and burgers were maybe 2-4 dollars off x as the special, no special requests but they did allow grilled onions and tomato which in itself already perfection. The house sauce reminded me of the in and out special sauce. My hands were very greasy and man did I nap so hard. Excellent burger! Great seasoning. The orders have always been accurate (which is a rarity these days with restaurants) and the staff have been friendly and professional. The food is delicious and seems to be high quality. Quite literally the best burger I've had. I ordered the double patty smash burger + lettuce&tomato and fries. The patties are perfectly seasoned and juicy with the smash quality crispy edge paired with melty cheddar. The fries; thick cut, crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside, also blessed with that amazing seasoning. On the side was their tangy in house sauce. I visited for lunch one day since it was close to my hotel. Being that it was my first time, I walked in and was kind of confused about how to order hot food, but just jumped in line at the register with only one person in front of me. Sadly, I forgot to grab a cold drink first so I could put all my items on one receipt for my business trip, so I got out of line, picked a drink then tried to get back in line only to see about 12 people now lined up waiting for the register. UGH! I ended up choosing the ribeye philly cheesesteak, and it is a bit pricy, but it's pretty good and cheesy. I just wish it had green peppers on it, didn't seem to have enough veggies for me. The two kinds of cheese also threw the taste off for me, I prefer just provolone. I would return and try their famous hamburger next time...if I was ever visiting CLE again. There are about 6-7 tables to dine-in within the store, if you can be patient one will open up. Can't guarantee they will be clean though as they don't have enough staff to clean them during their busy lunchtime hours. Once your order comes up, you'll be able to sit outside of the store on some basic, but nice and very clean picnic tables that are setup with needed condiments. The burgers are very good, but normally burgers come with lettuce tomatoes, etc, and here you get charged extra. Only 0.50 each topping, but still, they'd normally included. The burgers were very good, excellent flavor and they were huge also. They come with fries which are heavily seasoned, but I really liked the seasoning. We also ordered nuggets which I assumed came with fries, but they do not and the nuggets were a basic frozen from a bag nugget, so for $5 they should have come with fries. read more

A friend, brought me a patty melt from this dump! First, I ve never seen a patty melt on a hamburger bun before. iN MY EXPERIENCE, PATTY MELTS ARE USUALLY EATEN WITH A FORK, It was a disgusting mess! the sandwich, was placed in plastic box, with the top half of the bun on upside down! The cheese had been heated to the point where it just ran off and left behind traces on the meat. This was without a doubt one of the most disgusting meals I have ever seen! I had been craving a smash burger and didn't feel like driving very far. So I stumbled upon this absolute gem which is close to my house. WOW. I can see why all the good reviews. It was amazing. The people are very friendly and the grocery store has some unique items you cant find elsewhere. They cook your food fresh to order. Took about ten minutes we walked around the store and grabbed a few things. The burger was one of the best I have had in cleveland. You can tell they use quality ingredients and for 10$ for a single patty which was more than enough for me it also comes w some super crispy amazingly seasoned fries. These folks have totally knocked it out of the park on this concept! I know the owners have wanted a halal grocery store in the area to serve those who follow these dietary rules...but the store is chock full of interesting, unusual and delicious items you will probably not find in any other store around Cleveland. We browsed the store for about 20 minutes or so while our food was being freshly prepared. Their menu is super-small (right now), but what they are making they are making right! We ordered the CLE double smashburger with a side of fries and also a pound of their grilled wings. So, how was it?!?!? Their CLE double smashburger was outstanding...two char-grilled halal beef patties seasoned with their own special blend grilled to perfection topped with double melted American cheese, grilled onions and their own secret sauce (similar to a seasoned thousand island) on a brioche bun. The combination of flavors was on point, and if I had any small criticism of the entire dish is that maybe they over-sauced the sandwich just a bit? Honestly, I could have drank the sauce, and a love a good sloppy burger, but it was a bit over the top in my opinion...tone it down just a bit and let all the other wonderful flavors shine through! Their fries were super-crispy outside, meaty inside and covered in the same special spice blend used to season the burger patties...perfection! The wings were also covered in a spice blend (for which you can choose the heat level) and then grilled until sufficiently charred...they came out really juicy and tender with a great kick from the spices. One burger, a side of fries and a pound of wings was more than sufficient to satisfy two hungry adults, with a few wings to spare as a take home snack for later. They have communal style tables under their front overhang, so you can picnic right outside if you wish. Don't forget a unique drink from their cooler for something to wash it all down with.
