Behind the till there is a display of pastries and the coffee bar. We tried a few different pastries, cookies, coffees, passion fruit lemonade, and took home a loaf of sourdough. The chocolate chip cookies absolutely slapped and the sourdough loaf was great. I didn't love the lemon drop cookies-- they just weren't tart enough for my taste, but I think this is consistent with my review of the key lime pie at Krewe and leads me to believe that I just love a really deep citrus flavor, which isn't for everyone. I also would try a more classic pastry instead of the blackcurrant danish next time, but all the baking is truly top notch, just a matter of finding what speaks to your preferences. The lemonade is tasty but the added flavors are powdered (makes sense given the limited fridge space) so I would stick with plain next time. Service was very kind and prompt. Come through! You won't regret it!
