So decided to give this place another try since my last time 6 plus years ago. Staff was great and courteous. Place was pretty empty at 5pm on Memorial Day. Surprising or not ? We had an app, a salad and two pasta dishes . They had a generous amount of seafood BUT what's the point of having it if they don't flavor any of their sauces. Both were watered down and had some flavor but needed salt and we had to add Parmesan to it. This isn't my idea of a good meal when you have to season your own food. So you are okay with good enough this is your places but there are many others

Not easy to find, especially if you're walking. Inside is definitely seafood themed and cozy. Only problem we had was smell of chlorine and ocean (probably from the water), once more people came in to dine they turned on AC and it went away. Seafood was good, but chowder was a let down- watery, grainy and not creamy. Service was good.

Came here on a fluke with my friend. I'd passed it a couple days before and decided to give it a try. The restaurant is on the water with outdoor dining but we ate indoors. The atmosphere was fun casual. I started with the spicy passion fruit margarita. It was delicious . Appetizers we had onion rings and I had Dungeness Garlic Crab. It was good, but I could barely taste the garlic so I ordered extra seasoning. The restaurant was crowded so service started slow but really picked up and was great. I will be back to try another type of crab.

Review for Clemente's Crab House Clemente's has a vibe that's hard to beat--like stepping into a vintage Italian waterfront spot with a relaxed, throwback feel. The atmosphere is easily a 10/10 and the staff are extremely nice, just very much on island time--don't expect speed. As for the food? Honestly, it's average at best. The fries are excellent, crispy and golden--9/10. Everything else is hit or miss. The oysters can be amazing one day and totally off the next (once even had one that resembled grilled chicken). Salads are a no-go, and the cheesesteak sandwich was a disappointment: more fat than meat, and the bread was even a bit moldy. That said, it's still a great place for a drink, to relax and enjoy the scene. If you're going for the food, I'd lower expectations. Food: 4/10, Service: slow but kind, Vibes: flawless. Come for the atmosphere--not the menu.

Delectable juicy blue crabs Green salad was decent and fresh Crabs with old bay/ run don't walk! Comes with fries and corn. Was there for 1 3/4 minutes because breaking crabs takes a whole while but it was worth it

I wish I could give Clemente's 4 stars! My first complaint is, how do you serve drinks in a plastic cup? The second complaint is there are no flavor in the food. I had to add salt and pepper to the food to get it close to delectable. I think this will be my last Clemente's Maryland Crabhouse visit.

Before Brooklyn Crab there was Clemente's which is literally a hidden gem. Hard to find with incredible views & satisfying eating if you order properly. The NY Times just featured it and was impressed as I've come here for years and brought my dad. Ate and drank Cab Crab soup Seafood salad Crab cakes Lobster The crab soup is money, don't miss it. Wines are $9 a bargain & mediocre but passable quality. The crab cakes are delicious, nicely seasoned. Get the whole lobster & pass on the chopped lobster over broccoli rabe which is flavorless. Only eat outside for obvious reasons.

How have I never left a review for here. It's literally my go to spot for a quick meal and those Miami vice daiquiris and pina colada is my jam. This is a real mom and pop seafood spot. No frills dining and I love it that way. The staff are quick and courteous evry time and all the time and the food they pump out of here never disappoint. I come here at least once a month and I'm the summer there is nice outdoors dining and good breeze

The food was okay. Good for a quick meal coming off the boat. We had the baked clams, which were very small but tasty, and the blue point oysters as an appetizer. For dinner, we had the jumbo shrimp oreganatta. That was very good. The drinks, again were ok. A good bartender could def change that place around. The view is really nice and it's set up just right for what it is. I can see why people go back if they want to eat outside, on the water.

This is the casual neighborhood spot that you can dress up for, if you want to. The service is friendly, knowledgeable, and make you feel like you just sat down in a friend's dining room. The food is excellent! The specials menu rotate according to the season, ie the grilled octopus, and of course the regular menu is packed with excellent choices. The fresh fusilli with lump crab meat was absolutely delicious! Prepare yourself for some serious chunky garlic action

There are certain rules to consider when looking for seafood on the East Coast. -When you want lobster, you go to Maine (or anywhere really in New England, but Maine specifically). -When you want crab, you go to Maryland (Delaware and Tidewater VA are good alternatives, but Maryland is the top destination). -When you want shrimp, you go to South Carolina or anywhere in the Low Country. New York does not make the best seafood, outside of certain fish. Sometimes I wonder why New York feels the need to boast itself as a fishing capital. It is not. For the most part, I have found the seafood in New York bland and overpriced, save for the fried calamari. This restaurant offers no reprieve for the weary. It is right off the outskirts of Sheepshead Bay, practically the last restaurant off of the Emmons Ave strip going east, it beckons you to come in and eat some fresh food, right off the boat. Considering I had just spent all day on a boat, I was craving seafood. I tried three seafood dishes, the fusilli with crabmeat, bang bang shrimp, and their calamari. The shrimp dish was tasty, I will say that much. Good flavor, nice spice, generous portion. The calamari you have to eat quickly. This dish got cold seconds after hitting the table. One could blame it on that I ordered too much, but even large parties would say the same thing. Oh well. The fusilli dish I got gets a mixed review. The pasta is fresh and delicious, but the dish itself is watered down considerably. There is plenty of crabmeat in the dish, but it mostly tastes bland. They do not give it any character. It looks like the wallflower of a debutante ball. Pretty, but no personality. For better tasting seafood, save your money and go eat some Italian food up the street, for when you want some fine Italian cuisine, you come to New York.

Flavors are there in the dishes served. Shrimp with pasta Alfredo - excellent flavor, shrimp cooked well (not overcooked). Pasta is great. Shrimp in garlic sauce - maybe scampi. Also excellently made. Fried calamari- not the best ever, but well cooked. Has that crisp that you expect. Marinara is yummy. What I'm not thrilled about, service. Got a table of 14 people. Waiter comes by asks maybe half the table for drink orders and disappears. Bussing empty plates is very slow. Checking on the table is occasional. Far from ideal. They brought dessert but no coffee or tea without requests. A big table needs more attention than a table of 2. Would I come back? Yea probably. Their outdoor deck is nice. Except for the mosquitos. Citronella candles on the table don't exactly set the mood

Nothing outstanding food or drink wise. 1.7 pound stuffed lobster $81. The stuffing was mostly breadcrumbs but the lobster was fresh and tasty. Baked potato and corn. Hubby had pork chop. $44. Cooked fine. Slightly dry but not awful. Flavorful with cherry peppers and veggies. The steamers were great but the mixture of white and red clam chowder was too thin. Grey goose dirty martini was good as was a mezcal margarita. Didn't stay for dessert. Wasn't thrilled. Was all ok but won't be back.
