Now I have to say you pay $90 per person or 125 if you get the lobster. Now I have to say overall the place is clean. Your food comes fast. It can get overwhelming and sometimes you just don't know where to start and if you have like three or more people the table does get crowded. However, the workers do come around the servers come around and do clean up your table, but it's a bit overwhelming. The drinks are very strong so if you're not really a alcohol drinker, I wouldn't suggest you getting drinks because they really poor very heavily drinks is not included in the $90 or the $125 that something totally separate you do get to meet the manager. This has been in my to-do list for a while and I finally checked it off. Went last night (Tuesday) for a date night at 8pm. The hostess meets you downstairs as you enter and direct you to the elevator to the 2nd floor. There were a few other groups in there celebrating birthdays and few other tables but it wasn't too busy/crowded. The ambiance/decor in there is really nice! Much nicer than I expected. Our server was Young, no not his age, that's his name lol. He was very attentive and explained the process simply. Everything came out hot, fresh, and sizzling, pretty much back to back. They gave a stand to hold the other dishes because everything can't fit in the table. I think the $90 is a good value, especially if you're able to make it through a good amount of dishes. A lot of the dishes exceeded my expectations. Be ready for an all you can eat because they do not skimp on the portions! Stand outs of the evening were the snow crab in the Cajun sauce, the table bread, the scallops (my favorite), the iron steak and the Dungeness crab. I was not a fan of any of the shrimp dishes, which is why I deducted a point but overall the location is cute, right on Coney Island. To add I was beyond dissatisfied and disappointed when I ordered food yesterday for pickup online it stated 20 mn for pick up, then turned into 40 mn then turned into 1 1/2 hrs. It was false advertisement then they prepared half my order 30 mn before my seafood boil was ready and my kids had to eat cold and hard chicken tenders and shrimp basket. Crab house is located just around the corner from the Coney Island train station. It is located on the second floor and at the time of our dining was accessible only by elevator. We were greeted promptly by the hostess who confirmed our reservation and showed us to our booth. The restuarant was clean, spacious, and was classier than we had expected. The service was quick and our waiter did a great job explaining to us which items were included in just the seafood buffet and which items were for the additional lobster buffet (it was four items on the bottom left corner of the menu). We were given bread to start and a plate full of different sauces and lemons. The food came quick and was delicious. We were able to try most of the items we wanted to try on the menu, though I would say skip the shrimp if you want to get the most bang for your buck. The scallops, iron steak, and both dungeness and snow crab legs are definite must trys. Making a reservation was easy. It can be done online and you're also able to make reservations for only two people, as opposed to the Manhattan location, where reservations are only available for 4+ groups. Parking was not a problem either. There was plenty of street parking in the area, but we did visit on a Sunday, so take that with a grain of salt. When we walked into the building it was odd, but I knew what to expect from other reviews. There was one girl using her mobile, standing at a lonely podium. She neither greeted us nor smiled. I told her we had a reservation and she didn't look to check anything, but waved us to the elevator. It was weird and left a sour taste. Once upstairs, we informed the staff that we had a reservation. We were early and had to wait but it was fine, as our last dining guest hadn't yet arrived. The girl upstairs was nicer. She offered to allow us to sit while we waited for the rest of our party. Despite being told that we could not order until 7p, our server took our drink orders, and once my gf arrived, we ordered our first round of food. It took 45 minutes to receive the first order. The drinks arrived after that. This location is nothing like the Manhattan CH. They are on top of visiting the tables to check in on you, replenishing the menus, clearing empty dishes, etc. In BK, we were sitting for 25 minutes, waiting for someone to say, "Boo". It took such a long time for us to turn over our orders, whereas in Manhattan, they were way more attentive. The reasoning might be because we did not opt for the lobster meal as we did previously in Manhattan, but that shouldn't matter. Both options are pricey and we had 6 people in our party. This was for my birthday, so obviously my meal was free. When we visited the Manhattan location, we were a 5 top with a birthday so, I think the end price was about the same. In addition to the poor service, the food was definitely not up to par. Many menu items were so bland. We stuck with a chosen few items but some of them were so lackluster. Again, our meals at the Manhattan location provided a much better experience. The highlights were the chicken tenders, scallops and iron steak. The bland items included the garlic shrimp, fried shrimp and calamari. The shrimp fried rice was a culmination of both. The fried rice was meh, and the shrimp was bland asf - it tasted as though they boiled them in plain water until they cooked The snow crab legs were OK, if they were just steamed, but to suggest they were seasoned with old bay, is a stretch. In 90 minutes, we only received three orders sent to the table. Whenever we complained about the amount of time it took to put in a new order, or when we questioned why we did not receive all of our food, we were told that they could only bring a certain number of plates to the table. This I know for a fact to be BS, because a table near us had a stack of 10 (TEN) bamboo steamers, filled with seafood, along with other plates that were brought to their table. I don't even know how they managed taking down the food. I just know that every so often I would peek over and the stack shrinking smaller and smaller. They partially redeemed themselves when handling my birthday cakes. Aside from our server blatantly announcing to the table about my "birthday surprise", they brought my cakes to the table and sang happy birthday (kudos to the girl that was showing off her great singing voice). They even have a server robot that came by to wish me a happy birthday. My daughter got a kick out of it. My birthday shenanigans are the only reason I'm giving this place 3 stars. Everything else barely earned them 2 stars. In the end, we didn't take anything home. None of us wanted to.
