We hired Clementine to paint our faces before a Halloween bash and both my husband and I absolutely loved the results. We went for a sugar skull theme and clementine knew exactly what she was doing and worked fast. I sent her pictures of what I liked beforehand , most were simple in design but clementine is truly good at her craft and she made it clear the more intricate the design the easier it is for her. I went all out with bright colors, lace motifs, and roses. In contrast my husband went with a more classic skull and only had black and white but it was all the shading that made it intricate. Who knew you could shade with opaque paint? Clementine is a true artist and we can't wait to hire her for another event. After seeing Clementine The Amazing at a couple of community events I reached out about my daughters first birthday party. Even though she was pretty young for face painting we were going to have about 15 kids between the age of 2-10 plus adults who I knew would enjoy the party. It was the PERFECT addition to our babes birthday party. It was reasonably priced although I was stoked to give the artist a small tip bc she really went above and beyond and all the guests commented how friendly, fun and nice it was to have there. Heartless. We came up a few minutes to their closing time and they refused to help my crying daughters. Their paint and brushes were unpacked and we were willing to pay for full faces. When they looked over at the crying children they just shrugged and rolled their eyes. DO NOT USE THEM. read more

Clementine was great. We found her at the Larkspur farmers market and were impressed at the quality of the face painting. We hired her for my son's birthday party and she was, like her name, simply amazing. She works quickly, so that all of the kids were able to get multiple designs during the two hour party. She was great at improvising some of her designs to meet what the kids asked for. One of the other moms at the party pointed out that she was way better than some of the face painters you see at some of the fairs, where a dragon ends up looking like a worm with some flames.
