There have been a few times when I've seen other doctors but I've always been happy with their service and how they've treated me, check-up or emergency. Noticed as I was leaving that they (Lewisville location) is open on Saturday and Sunday. Went back in to ask and sure enough. They said phones work both day and would just like people to call (if it's not an emergency). This is big, because you don't want to wait to Monday and you don't want to go to hospital emergency room.

The staff is always so friendly and they genuinely care about their patients. Their technology is very up to date and they can do tons of different tests at their location, as opposed to having to send you somewhere else for blood tests, Pap smears, etc. The location is always very clean and I absolutely trust these people with my care. They are all well composed, friendly, and professional. I have visited with 2 doctors (Dr Lis and Dr Beal) and they were both very intelligent and knew exactly what they were taking about. They have a large selection of female physicians as well. I even moved 30 minutes away and still go out of my way to go here.

Needless to say, this provider has been punctual, loving, and dedicated to his profession and my personal healthcare. I recommend finding a dedicated/loving health care provider and get their work email address, if it's possible. As she was examining me, she asked me about my digestion. I told her about some issues I had been having and she got concerned. She sent me to a gastroenterologist. He recommended a colonoscopy. I ended up being diagnosed with stage 3b rectal cancer at the age of 39. If it had not been for Dr. Lee asking me about my digestion, I never would have brought it up. I credit her with saving my life. Several years ago, Dr. Lee left the practice, and I ended up randomly paired with Dr. Winborne for my next appointment. I am really glad that happened. Dr. Winborne takes the time to sit and listen to her patients. We had a few appointments together, and she said she would like to take over my care. I heartily agreed. Dr. Winborne understands my special needs as a rectal cancer survivor. She has a great bedside manner, and is very knowledgeable.

I did, and I got in. It took them literally 45 minutes to take my (VERY non complicated) family history, etc. into the computer. Then the doctor came in and had no idea what it was, no explanation of next steps really, just said that I was getting blood results. And apparently she referred me to a specialist that didn't even do the test she wanted to do. Thanks for checking up on that. I had some bloodwork drawn, which it's nice because it's right in the same office, and sent away. I would get the results in the morning and this office will NOT call you until the afternoon. On one of my tests, I had a few questions, but the nurse had NO idea and it turns out the doctor only works Tuesday and Thursday mornings. So CLEARLY the time to call me was Thursday afternoon when there is literally not ONE person in there to answer my questions. When I asked about that gap in logic she had no answer and no idea why I was upset that they would call me with nobody in who ACTUALLY COULD ANSWER A QUESTION. I suppose they just think that everyone is a little drone who won't ask a question about their own bodies. Go find someone else. This practice is awful.

They are a family practice, so they will refer you when necessary. - They are GREAT at communication via the Novant system messaging and scheduler. I have had many conversations with my doctor in that capacity. - It is very clean - The lab work you need is done on site - They have filed with my insurance just fine and dandy.

I have been to the ER here several times and have always been seen quickly. The staff were very…read morecaring. I recently went for the first time by appointment. I had an ultrasound done. My appointment was for 10:00am and they asked me to check in by 9:45am. I really appreciate the free parking lot. It is a little confusing when you first walk in, because there is a giant desk that you would assume would be where you check in, it is not. A lady who was across the lobby when I walked in called to me as I was halfway to the big desk, and told me she could help me at this tiny podium that looks like a temporary setup. I told her I was there for radiology and gave her my name. She verified my information and told me to have a seat. A short time later, a volunteer showed me to one of the check in offices. After I did my thing in there and was given a hospital bracelet and paperwork, I was told to have a seat again. The same volunteer came and escorted me to the waiting room for radiology. A volunteer there verified my name. As I was waiting, the ultrasound tech came out to show another patient how to exit the hospital. The volunteer told her I was waiting, and she said she would be right back for me. The volunteer told me she was working alone that day, as the other tech was out. She called me back right at 10:00am on the dot. She was very nice. I told her my medical history that was pertinent to the area she was going to be looking at. I was out of there in about 20 minutes. Other than the confusion as to where to make initial contact when you enter the building, it was the best experience possible for a medical appointment.
