After 20 years of being a loyal customer I will no longer shop at Clem's. For over a year now I have been there many times trying to shop with EBT and have only been successful 1 time. Yesterday was even worse. The lady working COULD use the EBT but could not filet my fish. So once again I left with nothing. I gave it one more chance today and the lady could not use the EBT card. Ive picked up low country boil ingredients here several times. Always great seafood and helpful staff. Today I got takeout meals for the first time. Very tasty scallops and shrimp plates. And I appreciated the cardboard to go containers. Plenty sturdy enough for the food but environmentally friendly. Highly recommend. read more

First time using DoorDash wanted to try Clems based on overall reviews. However we were entirely disappointed with the portions & cost. Attachments #1 is Clems website & Attachment #2 is what we received. Quality & portion size doesn't meet explanations of $35 for oysters $25 for fried fish. Fries were understated & appears to be less than their website. This will be a one & done. There are many other places that far exceeds the quality & value of Clems. if you want the absolute best crabcake ever, pick yourself up one at Clems. Follow the directions. Except for the shell in a few bites, hands down the best and truly just a couple of shells. The seldom crab shell indicates true crabmeat!!! I'm thinking of getting a few of these to stuff our fresh flounder with. OMG they are so dang good. Try it - you'll love it. Promise. staff was super helpful getting me a package of red snapper to go on the plane! They were knowledgeable and experienced.

This is the best seafood shop in the area, the people are very friendly and helpful. Suppled everything we needed for a boil last year and it was fabulous. Heading down next week and you can guarantee we will be stopping for supplies for another boil. Shrimp, crawfish,clams,potatoes etc. stop in and see them, you won't be disappointed. read more

Extremely disappointed. Clem's did not have fresh soft shell crabs any longer but said that they had frozen some. Purchased four. All were culls. Three only had one claw and one had no claws. Plus, they were very tiny. read more

They had tons of fresh local seafood. I really wanted crab claws, but I don't think they were local to this area. The fresh shrimp was great! read more

A real Southport/Oak Island gem! Great selection of fresh local catch at reasonable prices. We got seafood here to prepare on our vacation - Clem's had everything we needed for the entire meal. It was the best tasting, best valued dinner we ate. On the way out, we stopped to take fresh seafood home with us. The staff was really helpful and even provided ice and packed our cooler.
