Leslie, who is the director is very nice and supportive. My mom was in another memory care facility which was fine, but I immediately noticed a positive difference at Summerfield in the level of care and communication. They have a great outdoor space as well and when you're in the facility it has a nice homey feel. Other places I've seen are more like hospitals. The staff and nurses are very kind and you can tell they care for the residents there.

We planned the event around the seniors that were interested in participating and it proved to be a fun, caring and successful week long day camp. The first item that attracted us was the affiliation with Teepa Snow and a positive approach to dealing with residents rather than just medicating them. After touring quite a few places what really stood out at Carlton was that the employees seemed genuinely happy at work.
