Awesome care and the facility is clean inside and outside. Very caring and friendly staff as well.

This is the worst facility in Stockton hands down. Not only do they lack care the facility is filthy the managers all suck. Social services has no idea what she's doing just tall and dumb with skunk hair the case manager there also lacks empathy acts like she knows what she's doing but deep down doesn't, the infection preventionist is supposed to stop the spread of infections but by the looks of it is helping spread them my dad asked for his vaccination 5 months ago ..still waiting, they also said my dad had a diagnosis of malnutrition and he doesn't so that's great receptionist is rude as he'll the lady that's supposed to be the teacher of staff when I have complaints has an attitude for no reason and I overheard her teaching...yeah that's not teaching therapy sucks in general the nurses lack real education the business office has no idea what they are doing and if I missed anyone else...you probably suck too I hope Medicare pulls this building's funding and it gets shut down because this place literally is hell on earth read more

The people that are at Windsor Hampton are people no other skilled nursing facility (SNF) will take. People who are too disruptive for the "nice" facilities. Those who have a reputation for making trouble. Or boarder line mentally crazy. Residents screaming and yelling, at all hours, is par for the course in the hall where my room is located. No telling what trouble I'll be in after this posts. Do you know SNF's don't have to give a reason to make a resident leave. 30 days and you're out, whether you have a place to go or not . read more

My mom went here after a stay in the hospital for wound care and physical therapy. She was here for three weeks. The food was awful. They constantly "ran out of groceries" . They also put a diaper on every single patient as soon as they arrived. Which they also took their time to change most of the time. Nurses never answered the call buttons. And if they did-- it took at least 20 minutes to an hour. My mom was a healthy human being when she arrived here...they sent her to St Joseph's (never informed the family btw. We found out from her clinic bc she missed an appointment) ... when she arrived there she was found to be extremely weak and have a pretty bad case of pneumonia as well as a blood infection. Long story short...my mom suffered for another month until she passed away this past week. So NO. SO NOT GO HERE. STAY AWAY. read more

My father was brought here for end of life care/comfort care. This is one of the worst facilities I have ever seen. The staff clearly does not care for their patience and they don't maintain good communication with each other or the families. I had to beg them to come in and care for my father and at most points, they would become rude and come up with smart remarks. They would thrash around my father, poorly administer medication, and they were just not delicate at all when it came to caring for him. The staff here can be summarized up into three categories: either they do not know what they are doing, they do not care about what they do, or both. I even had to talk with the administrator about the type of care my father was being given and he just came up with excuse after excuse after excuse and stated he will have a meeting with his staff. This place genuinely needs to be closed down because they treat all of their patients this way. The morning staff was better but it does not compensate for the atrocities that the night shift did. Luckily we were able to get my father to a facility who was much more caring. If Kaiser tells you this is the only place you can send your loved one, you need to fight it till the bitter end because this place is falsely advertising their facility through their photos and descriptions of the care they give. I'm giving this place one star because it will not allow me to give any lower of a review. read more

Windsor Hampton is a nightmare. Hell on Earth. Know that if Kaiser attempts to place your loved one here that they have given up on them and do not expect them to recover. Do not accept placement here for your loved one. The entire place is an insurance cash grab and I'm shocked it has not been shutdown for fraud. It is filthy and the "cockroach" reviews are true. Your loved one will get UTIs, staph infections, etc from their completely unsanitary practices. On multiple occasions I witnessed them do things like pick a condom catheter of the ground and put it back on my loved one. I assure you that your loved one is not receiving the physical and speech therapy they are being billed for. If they even get the patient out of bed they will just wheel them to the therapy room and sit them in there for the required time. Maybe they'll strap them to the automated foot or hand pedal and let it spin for 10 mins. The therapist and everyone allowing this are all committing fraud. Patients are left moaning and yelling for hours without care. One was locked in the room on the floor on a mattress staring at the wall moaning for help for hours on end. My loved one had unexplained black eyes, bruises, bed sores, and hygiene was not taken care of. Meals are skipped because patients unable to feed themselves are left with their food on a tray unable to touch it. Underwear not changed for entire days. When patients are changed they are screaming in pain from the rough handling. If your loved one can't speak I guarantee they are not talked to all day by any staff. They don't even turn the TV on for them (if it even works; broken promises that they are 'fixing it soon'). Staff are awful and will tell you they hate it there and they never have enough employees to care for everyone. Walk around and talk to the neighborhood--they'll tell you the horror stories. The whole experience here breaks my heart for the patients. They deserve better. They deserve love and compassion. Head honcho Dr. Dizon is nice but she is aware of all of the atrocities here and allows them to occur because she is the Kaiser owned M.D. whose credentials keep this place open and her paycheck coming. Please please please do not let them place your loved one here at all costs. read more

I forgot to add in my review that they put a roommate in my room that had covid she was in my room for 12 days with the door shut knowing she had coded she was tested twice and both times came out positive this was in the month of July 2024 when somebody has covered they should be isolated not put in the room with the healthy patient I'm lucky I didn't catch it from her as I have in my room and air purifier and ion air purifier so I think that's what saved me but they don't care they knew what they were doing and they put her in my room just a FYI if you can avoid this facility do so immediately. read more

It's always scary when you have to send a family member to a care facility. I worried for my mom because this was an experience we've never had to endure. With some help from a friend we decided on Windsor Hampton. The staff was very nice and comforting upon our arrival. My mom spent about 5 weeks at Windsor Hampton. The facility was nice and the physical & occupational therapists were very nice and helpful. The staff organizing visitations and medical transport to appointments were really friendly and easy to work with. They also set up at home nurse visits and therapy services when it was time to go home. Thank you! read more

I would not send any one here no matter what. Unprofessional, hung up the phone when I called or phone rang and rang. My mother wore the same clothes the whole time she was there, they washed them once (9 days). I dropped off clean clothes for her. They put a diaper on her after she had an accident, gave her her medication whenever they got around to it. They turned off her call button so she could not call them for assistance. She has short term memory loss and expected her to remember things, she did not have her cancer medication for three days. I could go on for days. read more

UPDATE: you'll see a nice comment from the facility asking me to contact them. So I did. Guess what? No answer. Where should I start. Skilled Nursing Facility is a misnomer for this institution. The transportation arrangements are run by a person who doesn't realize that they are making care decisions that affect patients. My father is here. He was hurt in an auto accident. After fighting for a week to get a doctor to see him for a developing wound on his back the facility Dr. finally agreed and made an appointment for a wound care specialist, and an orthopedist on the same day. Because the transport involved two appointments, they threatened to charge double- even though it did not involve two trips. There was no objection, only incredulousness. Then, without consulting a physician, the transportation scheduler cancelled the wound care appointment, and rescheduled it for later. The wound in question has been noted as an "abrasion." This "abrasion" has opened into a 50 cent size hole in his lower back, that is 1-2cm deep. This is not being cared for in a sterile fashion. Because they "don't do that here." Today we were promised by the advice nurse for my Dad's insurance, the floor nurse and the wound nurse that an administrator would be coming in to talk to us at 330. It's nearly 5pm. No one has been in this room other than the nurse at 430, and PT at 230, and meals. My mom and I dressed my dad for his therapy this morning, because no one was coming. I hope that the proper authorities read reviews. It would save me the time I'll take tomorrow to talk to the regulatory agencies whose visit, we hear, is imminent. If you or a family member are about to be placed here, and have any needs beyond the most basic care and therapy, talk to your insurance company. We've already talked to the ombudsman, the insurance advice nurse, and all the nurses on the floor. A doctor has ordered changes in care. And yet here I am, on Yelp, writing this review as I prepare to escalate the situation. The administrator came and was in the office, probably preparing for her promotion to oversee 12 of these facilities. Good luck with those too, because she left already. So we know what they promise here is not what they deliver. I apologize to the PT and OT staff for this review, they have been great. I also apologize to the one CNA who seems to be trying her hardest to keep up. But not to nurses and staff who are practicing medicine without a license. Not to the administration or director of nursing, who can't be trusted to hear family voices. Certainly not to the dietary aides who cannot understand what constitutes a diabetic diet, nor the multiple individuals who are obviously entering untrue information into their daily charts. My Dad went to the ER, where they confirmed my worries. Stage 4 undermined ulcer, exacerbated pelvic fracture, and failure to notice that he was no longer able to urinate, due to the accident. My mother was at Windsor Hampton for 20 days in rehab for a stroke. I was leery about this place just because of what I hear about nursing homes in general but I couldn't of been more wrong. My mother was treated with kindness, respect, and total consideration. She went from not being able to bear weight on her right to be able to stand for a few minutes. The CNA's were amazing and kind and I cannot complain about any of them. My father was even given food since he was with her all day and everyone was very kind to him as well. I just can't say enough good things about this place. Margie the social worker was the best and so was Alvin the nursing director. My experience. Mom in real bad shape. Im freaked out, lost and didnt know what to do. Once at Windsor Hampton they took over. The case worker was very informative, experienced, professional and knowledgeable. Also very kind and patient. She guided me step by step as to what was happening and instructed me on what to do and eased my worried mind. She called me, left messages, and met with me when necessary. Nurses and staff. DITTO. Poor answering phone; impossible to visit my mom. And this is now, 5/20/2021. As my mom has shared with me, the doctor does not see her, the roof is horrible and now they have made recommendations to Medicare to kick her out. She had brain surgery. She cannot walk, nor take care of herself. It is inhumane. It is callous. They are negligent and should not be operating. They will not allow me to see my mom to help with her care. The attention to patients needs some work. Call lights can be used but not responded to for sometimes more than 20-30 minutes. The passing of trays to patients needs work especially when it shares a table with a urinal. Cleanliness needs to be improved, help a patient wash their hands before serving them a tray of food. Yuck and I rarely saw hand sanitizer used as staff entered and exited patient rooms. read more

We sure made a bad call choosing this place! My mom and I did the research on Wyndsor Hamilton and the reviews were really good. So we chose the place for my dad to do his rehabilitation. Big mistake! My mom gave them all the specific information needed to care for my dad. It was a total disaster! My dad was not mobile and needed total rehabilitation to rebuild strength. The first week that he was there, he fell trying to go to the bathroom because when he pressed the assist bell no one ever came. After he fell, his roommate pressed the bell and still no one came. So the roommate had to get out of his bed and take his wheelchair up to the desk full of nurses to get help. The meals were always cold, not even Luke warm, I mean cold food and cold coffee. My dads food was supposed to be finely cut up as he had difficulty swallowing. My mother literally had to be there for every meal because they never could manage to chop up his food. My dad also had an oxygen tank and whenever they took him to physical therapy upon his return they are supposed to put on him on the oxygen tank. Well, my mom arrived to visit and my dad had just came back from physical therapy. My mom found my dad sitting on the bed he could barely breathe because they didn't hook him to the the oxygen. They were the WORST! I called and complained and they set up a meeting with my mom all they key people in charge and said it would change. The problem is they aren't the ones on staff duty. I could go on and on but I won't! We took my dad out of there and put him in a better place. read more

I have had the greatest pleasure of associating with the nursing staff and the rehab staff of this beautiful, clean, well kept facility, They have the capacity for 120 residents. One thing I really noticed was that none of the residents complained about the food. Now that's really saying something for the dietary staff. The patio areas are done up very nice and make a great place for family members to take their loved ones for a visit. It's also nice for the residents to get out and enjoy the nice weather. I hope I never have to be a resident in a nursing home but if I do then this would not be a bad place to be. The patients appeared to be well taken care of. read more

I have never been in need of a nursing home so am unfamiliar with all of them. Let's face it when reading reviews u got the ones that praise them and all they do but u also have the ones who say the care is less then bad and your loved one SHOULD NOT GO THERE or may not come out alive. On Feb 26th 2021 my 75 yr old mom had a stroke. With dad gone now I moved her in with me because of her health and come on, she's mom and she carried me so now I'm gonna carry her. To say this whole situation woke me up to what good, caring Healthcare providers are out there is a understatement. This facility has kept me informed to every single aspect regarding mom. It's sad to say but they have gave me more support then my 2 children who we have excellent relationship its just Windsor has gone over and above anything I can imagine. If a nursing home is what is needed then Windsor Hampton is the one to choose. To say they have made a horrible hopeless situation doable and actually stress-free. I was asked to change my review, I deleted it instead but it's not sitting well with me at all. It's been a few months since my grandma passed away here at this facility. I don't blame anyone in the facility for her passing and some of the nurses were amazing, caring, genuine, sweet... some of them sucked and were rude and their bedside manner was atrocious. One thing that stuck with me was my grandma saying the staff at night would yell at the patients and they were always louder than the patients. I get being frustrated but don't take it out on these people who are here for help. My grandma was a quiet lady, she didn't want to be there but there was no way we could take care of her in our homes in her state. I wish we could've saved her the last months of being depressed in a room. Her last roommate was the sweetest lady, she cried all day alone in her bed. I still think of her and the day my grandma passed. They made her sit in the hall and she cried and cried and cried. They didn't even talk to her once just kept walking on by. Our hospice nurse who came to do what they do when one of their clients passes was amazing. John, although not an employee of the facility was amazing. He left a bigger impact on us in the 30 min he was there than most of the staff that works at the facility. CNAs and even nurses at these hospitals do a lot of work that people would consider gross and especially CNAs are grossly underpaid and under appreciated and if you don't have the heart you shouldn't be doing this job. I know it's an easy career to pick up and school is quick but not everyone has the heart to care for others the way that they deserve with respect and dignity. To the nurses and CNAs my grandma loved, we appreciate you with all our hearts. read more

Absolutely the worst place for your loved one. Where do I start?! How about the smell of piss that hits you after you pass the front desk?! There is more people than staff! My mother has sat or laid in bed until she almost wet herself! She hasn't had a bath in days! The staff told me everyone get a bath twice a week!!! What kind of shit is that?! The smell of pee is so strongest making sick to my stomach. My mom was in good mental condition when she got here we now can see her mental health decline. I'm not just writing this on yelp I will be taking my concerns to the state of California! This is a bunch of crap! These are people and need to be treated with more care and respect! read more

My partner in life was admitted on Christmas Eve after spending a month in other facilities due to a head injury and severe heart issues. Hospice provided care which was most appreciated because the care by the facility was lacking. They were paid upfront for his care but the care provided was unprofessional and lacked proper aseptic procedures. Dirty linen placed on the bedside table; never witnessed a wipe down of table food was served on. Had three room moves because of the noise. Call button rarely answered. Food was the worst I have ever seen. No one assisted the room mate to eat. They would just remove the tray. A patient with a terrible 'cold ' was moved into the room. Two days later my partner AND his roommate were moved to the Covid ward. The last week of my partner's was spent in the Covid ward. And to end this terrible experience, the doctor in charge failed to indicate on the death certificate that Covid was a contributor to his death! Guess they didn't want to release the Covid numbers even though multiple employees contracted Covid and it was infecting patients. A nightmare in hell experience! My heart aches for how much he suffered and for the lack of care. read more

Kaiser sent my grandmother here yesterday and when we got there they let her pee all over the floor because they put a trash can under the commode. we had to ask them to clean it up off the floor and ask for a clean trash can. The staff was arguing with us that it wasn't his job to do that. We pulled her out of there. Lazy and incompetent and uncaring staff. Stay away!!! read more

Bless their hearts, each and every one, from Administration to janitorial staff. Much to my surprise, I was placed in an unknown situation. Thinking all was well with me, ending up in ER, then being told I couldn't go home. The nurses and aides were fantastic. Even when I was not able to leave my room, they helped me get a handle on the new things I had to deal with. And did it with good humor and a smile. Once I was off isolation, I was able to truly appreciate all they had done for me. The therapists would work with me to help me get as strong as I could. Which made the time go faster and improved me so I could go home sooner. Great people, good food and an overall good experience. read more

Worst place ever for any loved one!!! My grandfather was only supposed to be there for two weeks for PT due to a fall. Long story short the facility is under staffed. They will leave the patient soiled and when they finally do come around to change the patient they don't do a good job. They will suggest a family member do it. My grandfather ended up getting an infection called C-DIFF and also had a minor stroke while in their care. This is the worst place ever. Patients are screaming for help the rooms smell like urine and you have to literally run and chase a nurse down any time you need help. I would never recommend this place for anyone long or short term care. read more

I give Windsor Hampton five stars. Everyone at Windsor Hampton was wonderful from the front office nursing housekeeping. My brother was there for a bout a month after a severe fall. The nursing staff and social workers are great but that's it. I was was a patient there 2 days short of one month. My first night there I rang the call button...30 minutes passed before anyone came. By that time I already pissed on the floor and cleaned it up myself. When someone finally arrived I just asked for water. A friend of mine, an older gentlemen, was a patient there as well. He also called for assistance but no one came. I sat and talked with him for an 50 minutes, light on, no one came. They served me spoiled milk for an entire week until I spoke up. I never finished a meal...food was always cold, taste like crap, chicken usually dry. SUPER DRY! Some rooms share a bathroom with the room next door to it so everyone from visitors, nurses and patients walk in on me as I was wiping! Another disabled patient was slapped by another able bodied hospice patient. Admin did nothing. I just got home today and was released with promised visits from St. Josephs home health. However administration released me with out giving vital info about me having to see a doctor before hand knowing I have trouble getting around. I can't drive, to far for the bus, no money for a cab, can't ride bike, parents are gone, other family members work late, neighbors can't do it....so I was released with strict orders from the surgeon for bandage change twice daily on record...so I'm sitting with a 32 hour old bandange right now with no equipment. Another patient screamed all night so no one slept. It sucked. The last 8 days I was there I literally threw food in the garbage as nurses watched. EVERY MEAL. The food was HORRIBLE. stay away from this place if you can help it. At night the entire place smelled like shit and there was no ventilation system. read more

My mother was in Windsor Hampton for just a month. Her health, attitude, and outlook all improved during her stay. The facility is very clean, the food is tasty, and the personnel attending to my mother were very caring and approachable, from the administrative staff, the nurses, nursing assistants, therapists, social workers, front desk and security monitors we met each day. My mother is very grateful for the care she received as she now has transferred home for hospice care. read more

Please do not take your loved ones here. I read the positVe reviews and thought this was a good place for my mother. Upon arrival, there was no one at the security desk. I went right in and being my first time, I was lost. A male nurse saw me and took me to the east wing. There was no "hello", "welcome", no tour, no greeting. The nurse walked me back to the car to get my mother. He showed us to the room. The nurses at the station seemed unorganized. They were not welcoming or friendly. I was not at ease. Another nurse came over to do inventory. Long story short. My mother called me first thing in the morning to please pick her up. She had a horrible night. People screaming at night. She tried to go to the bathroom and paged for the nurse. 40 minutes later they arrived. She had to go later and the same thing happened. The nurse told her, once your done pull on the red string over the toilet to help her out. Again, no answer and my mom was left alone and had to get back to her bed with no help. Very poor service!!!! read more
