Fun little spot in Clermont! Staff was very nice and knowledgeable on the craft beers, lots of food options and full bar for the non beer drinkers! Unlike other breweries, they did not have board games for us to grab but they did have live entertainment, darts outside and lots of TVs with sports. I took a star because of the way the food came out. They said the food would come out randomly as it was cooked. But appetizers coming out either side of an entree doesn't work. Plus 3 of us got the meatball slider trio and they all came out at different times, Did they really cook 3 identical orders separately? Clermont brewing company is a great spot to gather with friends and family on a Saturday night. This venue offers up live entertainment weekly and has both an indoor and large outdoor covered eating area. We ordered the meat lover pizza and it was great for 2-3 people depending on how hungry you are. The only negative thing I would say is that their overall menu is strange. The menu consists of pizza and sushi and I really don't see the relationship between the two. I'll assume the sushi is contributing the sales but it is an odd option for a brewery to have. Sunday brunch crowd, was very busy. wait for the back patio but got outdoor seating in the front porch quickly. Started with the korean BBQ chicken nachos, which were the most disappointing item on our 5 person lunch. Very little chicken, chips from a bag (at least seemed like it) and just not enough toppings. Scant beer cheese. Not a good start but the pretzel bites and beer cheese were excellent and had quite a few -enough for 5 of us to have more than a couple. Got two wood fired pizzas, the meat lover and the Blondoe white pizza with mozzarella, lemon ricotta, goat cheese, garlic, shaved parmesan and arugula. preferred the meat lover as i found the arugula all little too outside the box but it was fine when i picked it off. Wife had a very tasty tuna poke bowl. Service was lackluster- They have cold and hot kitchens and things came out at different times. Poke bowl came out with the appetizers for example. waiter was super busy and was covering front to back - and did apologize for some delays which was nice. Would probably go for a burger or sliders next time. Beers were very good and full of flavor. the apple pie sour was sweet and a little tart, almost cider like . tangerine Haze DIPA just slightly hoppy with low bitterness and softened more with the citrus and my favorite. the salted caramel stout was also great and not heavy in the 89 degree heat. This is a unique building on the side street of downtown Claremont. There's a nice sized dining area / bar with covered outdoor seating and another bar outside. They have many beers on tap. Happy hour has discounted drinks and a few food items. I had sushi that was very good. The white rooster was a refreshing and low cal drink option. Beers: - kolsch- decent kolsch, super light and drinkable - Oktoberfest- a good attempt but we've had better - stour - amazing! Highlight of the night! We had a cinnamon and sugar stout which I guess was limited release and it was awesome. I'd go back for this beer any day! Overall, this is an awesome happy hour value! We stopped in for a late lunch and we're so pleased we did so. As we entered we were asked if we wanted to dine inside or outside. We chose to dine inside because it was so hot outside. Our server was excellent, she explained all of our beer choices and menu options. The restaurant is a bit on the rustic side but it was really nice. Loved the décor. For lunch we started with the charcuterie board which was excellent. A few choices with Italian meats and cheeses, nuts, figs and crackers. What a nice spread. For our lunch I had the salad with chicken and my dad had the meatball sliders with coleslaw. The food was delicious and the service was even better. A word of advice, we got there at about 2:30PM, wait until 3:00 so you can take advantage of the happy hour prices. I really wanted to love this place. First of all, it is enormous once you get inside. Looks can be deceiving, and I thought it was just a tiny little spot when I walked by. I will start by saying the "pizza" is very pricey for the portion you get. It's technically a really thin flatbread not even pizza. The beer selection was not impressive at all. All of their beers were either ciders, sours, or under 5.5% ABV. All the breweries I have attended, and I've attend a lot, typically have some higher ABV selections on the menu. I really loved that they had music outdoors, and a great patio in the back. But I would not return anytime soon based on the beer selection, and the food being overpriced. read more

I actually just saw a post that they are redoing their menu. Thank goodness because they have such potential with the live music and ambiance. The food was TERRIBLE and as we walked in- the pizza guy was rubbing his hair and put his hat back on only to keep working - gross. I should have left then. The nachos we ordered were plenty but the meat on it - was like leather - it was only till after we ordered that we realized the chicken tacos were the same kind of meat. Not edible AT ALL. I ordered the Cobb Salad and it was supposed to come with smoked chicken and it was literally like 5 cubes of dry unseasoned chicken. Nothing was good- wait I take that back- the pretzel bites were but I highly doubt they made that in house. Clermont Brewing is a very cool place in Clermont, FL. The Clermont Downtown area has built up some nice walkable eateries and shops and Clermont Brewing is definitely a staple already. The food menu gives you plenty of choices, all local brewed beers and mixed cocktails. The atmosphere is loud and casual. Good for groups looking to get together or family to go out for dinner. Had the chance to come to their soft opening this past week. Clermont has needed a vibrant, young, watering hole forever and I think CBC is a GREAT start. The atmosphere is awesome - rustic, hip, lively and energetic. We were greeted extremely quickly and the staff seemed genuinely happy to work there. The menu is a bit limited but I believe it's because they just started out. (I could be wrong) We got the spicy tuna roll, the margarita pizza, and they had salads but I can't stand greens ha! Both items tasted great and came out quickly. The layout outside was just as nice as well. They have a bunch of comfy couches and high tops and TVs as well as a bar. The best part to me, was the turf laid down outside. There aren't enough restaurants that take advantage of their outside environment. One of the other reviews claimed that it was expensive and I can definitely see that. It is a little pricier than most places but for the service and food I think it's worth it. Came here on a Saturday, and boy was it poppin'! There was live music in the back. Initially didn't know there was a back area. Staff was wearing masks and friendly. Bathrooms were nice. Even though weather was nice there were fans in the back area too. Nice selection of brews. I was a fan of the seasonal sour, tasted like pina colada. Pizza was spicy! The sauce def had a kick to it. Sliders were good and the coleslaw wasn't too mayo. Least impressive were the chicken tacos. The chicken legit felt like rotisserie chicken, and the only thing that made it feel like korean was the pickled veggies and the spicy Mayo. Would skip. Man, I am super impressed and happy that I found a local brewery near me! Let's start off with an important fact - CDC guidelines are not followed and visible here lol. I love the exterior of the place. Once we walked in, it was PACKED! There was no social distancing at all and everyone had their mask off. There was a private event but capacity seemed to be even above the fire hazard capacity lol. Upon entering, the hostesses were super friendly and welcoming and informed us on all our options due to the private party. Amazingly, even with all the people, we didn't wait long to be seated outside in the front so i was very happy happy with that. Our waitress came in soon after and took our drink orders and was very helpful with suggesting a beer. They grew seasonal beers and I initially wanted a peanut butter stout but it was gone. She offered the mint chocolate stout and told me I can try it before ordering and I'm glad she did that. The appetizer, pizza and drinks all came at a reasonable time given the maximum number of people inside. I was very impressed by the quickness from the time placed between food and drinks and receiving them. We got the bbq pork pizza - OMG!! Super fresh. You can taste the quality of the seasoned pork and the freshness of the flour. So good. The buffalo dipped appetizer was so good, it was not too spicy and not to hot. I enjoyed myself here alot ! Although we were outside, we enjoyed ourselves and beer with the live band playing inside. Terrible menu. Couldn't find one thing that sounded remotely good. If you want a burger, forget it. Not one burger on the menu. Entire menu has a BBQ vibe. Gross. Trendy Repetitive food you can find anywhere. The entire sushi list was not really sushi. Every single sushi item offered was tempura or cooked. Pizzas, sliders, mostly everything had BBQ sauce. The sliders were so dry, none of us could finish our food. Then the presentation: 3 sliders jammed to the side of the tray. 75% space. Your side dish is a tiny ketchup size condiment container. So a spoonful of a side. And not even a good one at that. Potato salad was tangy as if made w miracle whip. The 2 stars are for the cocktails. They were very good. I wouldn't try this place again if it was free. They seemed to have live music outside. But when I went in the bathroom the radio in there was playing better music. The service was excellent and the music was outstanding. It's a fun place to grab a meal and/or a drink. They serve wine and craft beers along with of salad, thin crust pizzas and much more. Very disappointed. I visited here for the first time 5 years ago. My wife and I had our first date here 4 years ago. We've visited at least once a month for the last four years. I'm not sure we'll be back. They've consistently gone down hill. The beer has not changed much and even become worse over the years. They've recently taken sushi off of the menu. This was one thing that they had a niche in. With growing competition in the area, we want to like CBC and support it, but at this point they don't offer anything worth revisiting. read more

(7/20/2023) we were doing a little tour of Clermont -- the Citrus Tower (tall!), Presidents Hall of Fame (weird!), and came in for a late lunch. Fortuitously, it was Happy Hour at 3:00 PM. We were there with the Early Bird set. My septuagenarian father in-law did complain the whole time about the very loud music. Perplexingly, they do serve a few sushi rolls here. We're avid sushi eaters, these are probably some of the most expensive rolls we've seen on a menu for the variety of fish that's in there. Happy Hour items are a relative bargain with slightly smaller portions for $6 a plate. The street tacos were on some very doughy mini tortillas (those should really be griddled first, BTW). Bourbon BBQ Pork Tacos came with a torn half square of yellow cheese (not quite as expected, visually). Korean Chicken Tacos we're chopped chunks, also not visually as expected. The Brewer's Nachos came with the oak smoked brisket, we weren't given the choice of the Korean BBQ Chicken. The chipotle sauce had some pretty decent heat to it, unexpected for my mother in-law. She had to give up a few chips in. All dishes were very salty, especially the Queso on the CBC Loaded Fries. California Roll was loosely rolled, but as expected for a $6 roll. The place filled up pretty fast, looked very popular. If you don't need conversation, the HH is a decent value, place expectations accordingly. read more

First time there, so I'm not sure if this is the norm. The wait for a party of eight was somewhat long (about an hour) but about what was to be expected, so all is good there. The server Anthony was attentive, but could have been better at clearing finished plates and glasses. The prices are REALLY high for what it is. I mean, higher then our normal hangs at Universal at City Walk...but in Clermont, Florida. I was happy to see they were busy though. I love when smaller breweries thrive in the towns they call home. This was a good experience but where I felt the most attention was necessary was the kitchen. So. Much. Confusion. Again, I don't know if it's the norm or not, but every single dish of our eight person party came out at individual times. I'm talking, with 3-5 mins between each plate. And two people ordered pizza which arrived 27 mins after we ordered, which was approximately 20 mins from the first plate being delivered. With a clear shot of the runners station, there was an awful lot of discussion between them with regards to 'where does this go' kind of reactions. I'm giving this visit five stars because overall the experience was a good one. I'm not sure I will be back though. The pricing for the experience really doesn't warrants a repeat experience for me. The service was pretty good. No real complaints. We started with the smoked chicken dip. It was a cheesy, smokey chick dip served with tortilla chips. Came out in a hot little skillet. It was so yummy! We then ordered one of the wood fired pizzas - the Blondie. Not going to lie, this is probably top 10 for all the pizzas I've ever indulged in. It was SO GOOD. Such a great combination of flavors and cooked absolutely perfectly. If you go to this place, GET A PIZZA. You will not regret it. The drink menu was pretty decent. Lots of beers to choose from. The restaurant itself was neat. There was a large inside seating area, as well as an outdoor section. There was a stage outside so I assume they do live music pretty regularly. The only thing I might have appreciated was a little bit more attentiveness to clearing the table. We had our empty/finished appetizer serving platter sitting on the table the entire time - we both had drinks refilled in the meantime and several servers walked by numerous times but no one thought to clear the big empty tray from the table.
