This review is about DJ Judy Chevrolet and the broker (CLE Music Group) Thank goodness that my cousin recommeded CLE music group to me, or else we would never have found DJ Judy Chevrolet for our wedding. They also did the uplighting for our room, which made the place come to life. Our wedding was at Landerhaven When going through the profile choices, it was so obvious, from first glance that Judy Chevrolet was the perfect choice. AND SHE WAS. Judy exudes a command over her work, one that a client could rest their faith in. She is not pushy, not stressed out, and can be seamlessly flexible in the moment. Elegant woman too. Vibes well with people Her experience showed. Somehow, the folks who I never thought would be on the dance floor danced, people danced the whole night. She correctly and smartly put the right songs in a the right times. The vibe stayed alive. Seriously folks, this night was like magic. My wedding is the best day of my life. The number one thing that can make or break a wedding is the deejay. When it came to entertainment, there are only two companies in NE Ohio that I recommend, so we started with CMG. The entire staff at CMG is amazing- Scott Jones is the best in the biz and each professional that works for him reflects the same values and professionalism. Office staff is friendly and helpful. We planned our wedding in under 8 months, so the deejays I was familiar with were booked already. We chose our deejay off recommendation and his video- DJ Dan Cormier. We love Dan! He set up a meeting to chat about our details form and go over some of our questions. We were one of those couples who annoyingly created their own play list, but he was so awesome about it. He had a lot of ideas on how to incorporate some of our choices into the day and made sure he helped create exactly the wedding we wanted. He asked me to leave a voice mail 2 weeks prior with the pronunciation of our wedding party names which I thought was awesome. Here's an example of why this was a perfect choice for us: Dan knew that we wanted a packed dance floor all night. We also wanted to do a sparkler send off, but was afraid we'd lose guests too early, so we decided to invite just the wedding party and parents for the send off. Hubby and I were waiting in the hallway to go outside and I hear the Macarena playing inside. Immediately I went 'What the hell? For SURE the Macarena wasn't on our music list!'. It only took a second for me to realize what he was doing- DJ DC knows that the Macarena (or any other line dance) will keep people on the dance floor PLUS he avoided playing one of 'our' songs because he knew we'd miss it. Obviously, this is quick thinking and why you get what you pay for- a true professional! Our dance floor was packed until they kicked us out. SO much that the dance floor was actually bouncing. DJ Dan kept our party rockin and accommodated any changes we threw at him. Somehow, he managed to squeeze in most of the songs from our playlist. It was the perfect night and we couldn't thank Dan enough for providing us with great entertainment. That being said- I know we picked out entire playlist. But there is a HUGE difference between 'just pay for Spotify and let it play on a laptop' and an experienced deejay emceeing your evening. Trust your wedding to someone who knows what they're doing. read more

Scott Jones was our DJ for our May 25, 2019 wedding. Not only was he incredible to work and plan with, he kept the party going all night! He knows exactly the right kind of music for the crowd he's DJing for, and we had so much fun in the meetings leading up to the wedding. A DJ is such an important part of a wedding, so I highly recommend Scott Jones!! Additionally through the CLE music group, we had our open air photobooth (so fun, and the tech who ran it was AWESOME) and for our ceremony we had the Sonata Strings group play... They were so talented and the music at the ceremony was spot on and perfect. Overall, book through CLE music group for so many of your wedding needs... You won't regret it! read more

I am so happy we chose Cleveland Music Group for our wedding. The staff there are so friendly and professional and will help guide you to find the right DJ (or musician, etc.) that you are looking for and who fits your budget. We chose DJ Evan Foltz for our wedding and he did an outstanding job making sure our wedding day was perfect! He was able to find instrumental versions of our favorite songs to play for the ceremony, he played our handpicked songs during cocktail hour and dinner, helped all the events flow smoothly throughout the day, and did an amazing job keeping guests on the dance floor!! He went above and beyond to make us and our guests happy - he even setup an extra speaker so that we could hear our cocktail hour music while we were away taking photos. Evan played must-play songs during the reception, he avoided our do-not-play songs, and he read the crowd to play songs that would keep guests entertained. This is not a recent review, but I wanted to post it somewhere in case it helps local NE Ohio couples... We hired DJ Michael Alexander from Jerry Bruno Productions for our wedding a few years back. We were living out of state at the time and were not able to meet with Michael. However, we did a call with him and he talked us through his plan for the evening. Not only was his plan perfect, but it worked perfectly for our wedding. Michael knew when to play what songs and how to keep the party going. He also noticed our theme and suggested an entrance song that we hadn't originally planned. I would recommend that anyone looking for a wedding or party DJ check out Jerry Bruno's team. Michael was friendly, listened to our wishes (we had a banned songs list!) and was part of what made the celebration so wonderful. read more

They have all kinds of talents ... ceremony musicians of all sorts, DJs, wedding singers and bands. We booked DJ DC. Scott and DJ DC were both very polite and communicative. DJ DC helped us make a very specific plan for our wedding reception. He was punctual and well dressed. He was polite and a wonderful MC! And when the party started EVERYONE was on the floor! It was the perfect pick for our mix of family and friends. I have never seen so many sad faces when the lights went on at the end of the night! This company was by far one of the most PROFESSIONAL to work with of all the vendors we hired for our special day. From beginning to end, we truly felt like we were in good hands not only picking Cleveland Music Group, but specifically DJ DC (aka Dan Cormier). We were VERY picky about the DJ for our event. We had been to weddings where, let's just say you realize how important the DJ is at the end of the day. Since we were planning our wedding from across the country, it was a challenge to find the right fit for us. We just didn't have the time or luxury of interviewing countless DJs before our wedding day. We really appreciated that Cleveland Music Group is hip with the times--showcasing each DJ they have to offer with personalized individual webpages, complete with a highlight video for each DJ to give you an idea of their personality, style, and approach. EXTREMELY helpful. Did not find this sort of info on other DJ sites. As soon as we met Dan in person, we were sold. His outstanding voice, laid back personality, and can-do attitude instantly put us at ease. He understood our needs without much explanation at all. He was the first DJ we met with, and we booked him immediately! The day of our wedding was amazing. He accommodated all of our requests--much more work on his end--and was easily able to adapt to any last minute changes during the course of the evening. He kept us up to speed on where the night was headed--knew exactly what to anticipate when--and adjusted things accordingly. He clearly knew what he was doing and always kept things professional. DJ Eric Smith of the Cleveland Music Group did an awesome job at our wedding!! There's of course some wedding classics that are played at weddings, but I really wanted the music to reflect my now husband's and my musical tastes, and not just sound generic and like every other wedding. Our first date was to a concert, so it plays an important role for us. Eric delivered exactly what we wanted!! We met with him before the wedding (he was very flexible and responsive) and gave him some suggested songs/artists so he could get a feel for what we liked. He then created a playlist that was absolutely spot-on! The guests definitely noticed too because all night I kept getting comments on how great the music was and there were always people on the dance floor! We also liked that he wasn't over-the-top/cheesy in his emcee role. Our venue was unique in the sense that it was an indoor and outdoor space, but Eric maneuvered that perfectly as well. Even the initial planning was easy! We met with the owner Scott Jones, who was so nice and accommodating. Very professional as well. When I mentioned we were interested in Eric, Scott had Eric come to part of first meeting so we could meet him too. Afterwards, as we were making our decision, Scott would follow-up but was never pushy like some other companies I made inquiries with. He understood that it gets very busy when you're juggling work, wedding planning, and other personal commitments and gave us the time we needed.
