My photoshoot with Liza was one of the most empowering and uplifting things I've ever done! I was so nervous about privacy and just feeling comfortable that to ease my anxiety, she drove over 30 minutes to do the shoot in my own home, gave me ownership of the photos, edited them in my home, and let me watch her delete the photos from her camera after transferring them to my computer. Her makeup artistry was just perfect and she was so easy to talk to that by the time I put on my lingerie, all (well, most!) nerves had dissipated. She coached me through all the poses by imitating the poses herself (which took care of the remaining nerves!) and showed me the photos along the way so we could collaboratively talk about what I liked or didn't like. She created a fun (I laughed a ton!), comfortable, body-positive atmosphere. I thought I would look awkward and unnatural, but everything about Liza and her work made me feel so relaxed that I quickly realized my fears were so misplaced! I truly could not believe how well the photos turned out. While my shoot was originally intended to be part of a wedding gift for my fiancé, it really was also a gift to myself. Liza gave me so much confidence. I love the way the photos look and I love my body. On top of her professionalism and amazing photography skills, Liza is incredibly kind and down-to-earth. Words cannot even begin to express the amahhhhhhhzingness of Liza's work! From the second I walked through the door she made me feel comfortable and relaxed and all my apprehensions and inhibitions faded away. I showed her makeup and hairstyles I liked, and she did an outstanding job recreating them on me. When it came time to start the shoot, she was extremely complimentary, encouraging, and helpful--never once did I feel silly or like I couldn't "hack it." She gave me pointers on the most flattering poses and made me feel simply FABULOUS--from start to finish. Her prices are beyond reasonable, and her turn time was insanely fast! When I received the images I was blown away--they are just stunning and more than I could have ever hoped or dreamed for. If I could give more than five stars, I would! I had been searching for a boudoir photographer for some time, as a gift for my fiancé on our wedding day. After looking at Liza's portfolio there was no way I could choose between boudoir and pin-up- so naturally I did both. This was one of the best, most unique, and exhilarating experiences I've had! I, of course, was nervous before the shoot, but Liza made me feel comfortable in a setting where many may feel quite vulnerable. Prior to the shoot, Liza did my hair and makeup- which I would definitely recommend. The photos turned out beautiful. I love showing them off! Oh my goodness! I don't even know where to even start! I decided to do a boudoir shoot for my girlfriend as a birthday present. I did so much research on what to do and what to bring or wear and had so many questions. After talking to Liza she answered all my questions and made sure that I had all the pictures before my girlfriends birthday. The day of the photo shoot, showing up I was extremely nervous and she made me feel like she was a long lost best friend. She made me feel very comfortable. She did a beautiful job with my makeup and hair, giving me a look that fit exactly what I wanted.
