I have in fact recommended Clever Quarters to a few different people already, they are fantastic. We had Jen as our sales person/designer and she did a great job. We had 4 areas done by them; bedroom closet, pantry/storage room, entryway closet, and spare bedroom closet (no photo). We love all of the spaces and wouldn't change anything. We initially had three quotes from two other companies (including California closets), and the designs by Jen were better than the others by far. We initially had glass sliding doors covering up our closet and Jen convinced us to remove them and raise the closet hight by another foot or so. I did the job myself to save some money, and it was not too difficult luckily. It however was a fantastic idea as we were able to change the entire design of the closet to be more functional, and symmetrical. The entry way closet Jen also had the best design for and its much better then how it was done originally. The pantry/storage room we added on at the end as we were not even thinking of having it done, but Jen had very functional ideas which make a huge difference for our day to dad. Clever Quarters designed and built my dream walk-in dressing room. It turned out beautiful. It includes extensive shoe shelves, a glass door handbag show piece, multiple hanging areas, a dresser, extra clothing shelves and drawers and a makeup vanity. I got 3 quotes from different companies and the quote from Clever Closets came in considerably lower than the others. They also included soft closing hinges and used high end materials and finishings. Jen, who designed everything, did an amazing job maximizing the space. The installation went really well. After purchasing a condo, we needed to maximize our closet space to make the space more livable. Sharlene from Clever Quarters came onsite to meet with us, listen to our needs, and take detailed measurements. We received our designs the same day, and went back and forth by email and phone as needed to make adjustments to our preferences. On the week of our installation, we contacted Sharlene to add two small closets onto our order, and they were somehow able to design and fabricate in time to have all of the organizers installed on the same day - amazing! The organizers are VERY solid and well-attached, no worries about them handling the weight of our hangers or pantry items. Cost was quite reasonable, and I love that this is a local company. We called Clever Quarters to have our garage floor done based on a referral and found out they also did closets which was a bonus. We also read the reviews online which were excellent. Unfortunately our experience was not a good one and we ended up not using them so cannot speak to quality. We got an approximate quote on the garage floor and made an appointment for someone to measure the garage and closets. Days before the appointment we were told they could no longer do the garage floor and were focussing on closets. We were not happy as we had a limited window but they than said they would do the floors and sent somebody to measure, confirm the garage quote and have us choose the colour. Our install day was supposed to be a few days later but the next day we were told again they couldn't do the garage floor! We scrambled to find somebody else and the next day they called again to say that they could now come. We were not going to cancel on the other company plus our trust level was low. We were not going to proceed with them for our closets as a result but went ahead with the Zoom call to review the plans given all the time we spent having them measured. We were actually happy with the design and planned to go with them but had also arranged for a second quote which happened the next day. Price wise the quotes were similar, but the other company used floor mounted rather than wall hanging which were sturdier. I let the person from Clever Quarters know we were going to go with that company for that reason. She said they could also do that style so I asked for a revised quote and never heard back. read more

My wife and I just purchased a new condo in this crazy Vancouver market. We both come from humble beginnings and don't have the luxury of spending lavishly. After purchasing our first place, space was a bit limited and as such, we wanted to start with our walk-through closets which needed some organizers such as drawers/hangers/racks etc. First we did our home-work by getting quotes from different custom installers which consisted of California Closets, Home Depot, Closet Guys, etc. In addition, we even made a trip out to Ikea just to compare pricing vs quality. We both have been using Ikea for the old place and I can say this, you pay for what you get. The stuff is cheap but don't expect it to last very long. It came down to Clever Quarters and most importantly what won us over was Behshid who has been nothing but professional, polite, transparent, and very patient with us as she understood that being new home-owners, we had our plates full. She came in to discuss about what we needed, what kind of budget we had, and assessed the spacing requirements. Actually she measured twice and preached the rule, measure twice cut once. Both my wife and I have very busy schedules and time-constraints due to our move-in schedule yet they did everything to accommodate. The installers that came in were very professional, polite, and efficient. They were more pickier than us! At Clever Quarters, you will get a quality product for a very reasonable price. It will not be Ikea price but again, you are not getting 'Ikea quality'. This stuff comes with a life-time warranty as long as you are not playing NFL with it. The material that they are using pretty much comes from the same place as all the other competitors, minus the crazy price tags. You pay a bit more up-front for quality but nothing beats the material your given, the optimization of your space which is key, and the level of service that they provide. I would highly recommend Clever Quarters and would like to give a big props to Behshid and the awesome installers. 6/5 stars all around. read more

And another update: While admiring my new closet, installed earlier this week, I realized that if the upper clothing rods were lowered, there would be room for more shelving. Lowering the rods was necessary anyway because of my arthritic shoulders so I called designer Behshid and asked about these changes. Not only could it be done but she came over HERSELF and made the changes the very next day. This company is crazy good and I'm already recommending them to everyone. If you're looking for an excellent reno, with designers who think outside the box - and offer competitive prices - Clever Quarters goes all the way to ensure their clients are not just satisfied but IN LOVE with their new space. Prior to Cleaver Quarters I had experienced many broken promised and service failures. I had designed a garage storage unit and presented it to 3 carpenters that agreed to do a custom made unit. All 3 were unable to follow through. I had two storage companies come (including Cleaver Quarters) come over view what I was seeking in the end Cleaver Quarters was who we selected. Equal to getting the job done was now doing it on time. Near everything was on time... except the sliding door rail caused for delay. I too had to follow-up with Cleaver Quarters to press to get the job done, as promised. The Owner was accountable and receptive. He was apologetic and we even received a card from him that was well written. He was grateful to learn how he could improve. Installation was great, however, one piece was not ready and still wasn't after a few weeks. Unfortunately, it was I that had to do the follow up to see if the piece had arrived - no follow up was done by CQ. When the piece did show up, it was the wrong size. I have every intention to do further updates in my new home, but I'll be shopping around. I have to say, I was pretty disappointed. Having said all of that, when the piece did arrive Askari, the owner, came over personally after hours and installed it himself.
