Now this is a great product that will stand the test of time. Coats and shells, gloves,hats and even pants that are all designed for the weather. Now is this store pricy? It will cost a few extra bucks but if you think about it over the time that you will maintain the product it is worth it.

One of the great features is that they have lots of factory seconds and sale items so there is lots of stuff to meet every budget. Helly Hansen Branded products have great quality. I stuck to the main floor with the clothes, though they do have a second floor with bigger items like tents. I love the set up of the store, though it doesn't seem very friendly for folks who aren't able-bodied with the stairs right at the front entrance. Not super great. The product selection is pretty good, with tons of backpacks and water bottles greeting you as you walk up the stairs to the main floor. The clothing is split between men and women and they seemed to have some pretty decent sales going on. Not going to lie though, I was drawn to the huge selection of socks. A bit weird? Maybe. But there's something so wonderful about a great pair of socks, y'know? Anyway, the Trail Shop is a great independently owned sporting good stores, and if you're in the area I highly recommend checking it out. The staff are friendly and happy to help if you have questions, or to leave you alone if you just want to look around.

Ask around the hunting/shooting community. The gunsmith is not very good at his job. Buggered up my shotgun. They only have the capability to do gun service that you can do at home. No lathe, no proper taps, the list of things he can't do is longer than the list of what he can do. The inventory is over priced and very few of the staff members know anything about hunting. Hockey life was established in Montreal in 1973 and now carries the crown for the largest retail hockey store with a total of 23 in Canada. Yes this is a box store but it is Canadian. The store has large flat screen TV's throughout it to make your experience that much better while shopping. I can not imagine there is anything else needed. This store carries it all from, sticks, skates, bags , safety equipment, memorabilia, clothing, the list goes on. I eyed a few things I think would be great for gifts. Now, I will be honest, when the word Hockey is said, I think Money, sports are very expensive to take part in, that is nothing new. So do not complain on prices. It is what it is. I felt the prices were reasonable here. There was a hockey bag for about $45.00. However, I am not a professional shopper of hockey gear, so keep that in mind if you go in. This is a great store and a welcomed edition to the city for sure. We are a huge hockey town here, so I think this place will do well. The staff here were young and friendly, I think it would be a great place to work.

Made the mistake of buying adjustable weights here for $2000 with a stand. I bought the weights…read morewith all the weight stacks up to 100 pounds but they had to order them in so my second trip in. I got my weights and the stand got it home put the stand together and the weights overlap the stand by 2 inches so they sold me the wrong stand I emailed them to Let them know they said I could exchange it for the proper stand, but I had to pay full price. Long story short after I complained about all the trips I had to make in they exchanged it. Fast-forward eight months later I go in there to finish equipping my home gym. I walked around there for at least 10 minutes I was the only one in the store and the guy didn't acknowledge me or anything so long story short again I left and went and spent $5000 at fitness depot Atlantic, who were great and offered good customer service and I will be dealing with them from here on out and you should too!
