I went here because my phone was in sos mode which has been occurring across the US recently they kept trying to sell me new phone which I told them no and also they tried to sell me Netflix and other stuff I already have and told them no then they added a mobile protect plan to my account without my authorization. I'm now having to call to have them delete it and take it off my bill which they cannot so I have to pay 20 dollars extra this month because they put something on my bill I never told them to. read more

Dandy will be there from 9-5 tomorrow (this runs counter to my last visit where they gave me some airy fairy thing like Dandy comes in when he wants.) Since I have a job I cannot just drop everything to be there when Dandy is, though I hope he will call so I can set up a time to solve this. I live in hope and... now I wait. *I went over the conversation with Frankie (I have it recorded and he said I could just call in). As of DECEMBER 15, 2015! I called in (I knew better then to walk in before I check now) and I was promised by Dandy (over the phone) that it was all taken care of. He says he will credit it and it should appear in 24 to 48 hours. Yeah. Right. I'll believe it when I see it. I'm going on vacation and going to forget about this whole mess for a few weeks. Score. We will credit back your account in 24-48 hours... the lie detector found that THAT was a lie! As of JANUARY 13, 2016! Problem was not solved over my vacation, those 24 to 48 hours appeared to be much, much longer than anticipated. I called back today and it was FINALLY solved. I sat on the phone until it posted on my account. Nothing like inconveniencing people until they solve the problem. The management of this place is a joke. I was given every reason about why it couldn't be posted. I'm still keeping an eye on my accounts to make sure nothing fishy goes on with my old phone. I hate that I gave it to them now. read more

I was devoted to my HTC Thunderbolt for going on 2 years and that is a long time in the cellular industry. I stopped at this location because I know it has been standing in the same location for a long time and was immediately greeted by the sales rep, who was already busy with assisting another customer. The location lay out was convenient and had no trouble in looking for the high-end smartphones. I was due for an upgrade and ended up with the HTC Rezound, he spoke highly of it and I was able to interface with live unit so that I could get a feel for it. I was sold on the stylish look, the HTC Sense interface and dual-core proc. The transaction went smooth, any complications or questions were answered quickly and accurately.. Next time you shop, just take in consideration in the relationship because you would always get more then just a phone. read more

I've had to replace my Droid and was unsure what to get. Frankie was very knowledgeable and was able to transfer all my data to the Samsung Galaxy S6. Can't say enough about the great service. Then I left my phone in the bathroom at work and a lady took it and messed with it. Fortunately I had it secured with a password but she just about wiped everything off of my phone. So next trip Alain was the one to help me and he was able to restore all my data! Plus I got a killer deal on a tablet as a surprise for my husband! I needed to repair my iPhone 5SE, it was a simple screen replacement. After the repair it seemed ok at first, but the screen sensor in the front was not put correctly back and it was an ineffective repair. In short, I had to return to the store to see if they could repair the phone for a second time, which is bad service.... When I arrived to the store the customer service that was provided to me was the worst. I was told that my appointment was scheduled for the wrong day and that I would have to come back. I would rather not spend my hard working dollars and valuable time messing around with employees that can not seem to get a simple appointment correct, let alone a repair done correctly the first time. While on vacation in Las Vegas I was offered a free screen protector when I told the guy I already had one he said no you don't have one on your phone. So I was pretty upset thinking I've had a screen protector all this time if I would've dropped my phone and broke it it would've been my problem so so just be careful when shopping at this store and make sure you have everything you purchase before you leave read more

Apple had me take my Macbook Pro (15" mid-2015) to ClickAway as an "authorized service provider" to fix a screen glitching issue. Started off well enough, guy opened my screen and saw it flickering and made a repair invoice or whatever in their system to send it to another of their shops in Tracy for repair. Time goes on and no calls, no progress. I get a text message asking what the username/password was a few weeks later as they were just getting to it, to my annoyance because I had it written down on a sticky note stuck under the keyboard AND the initial rep input it into their system so it was on the service invoice. I replied with the user/pass and asked what the progress was (my work owns this laptop so I need to let them know what's going on with their property) - no reply. Nothing. I call the next week, a number of times, each time the shop says the guy isn't in or is out for lunch (apparently works part time, in the afternoon, but not when I'm calling in the afternoon) and they say they'll leave a note for him to call me back (I even said "he can text me if that's easier"). NEVER called or texted. Finally at my insistence they put me through to ANY repair tech who could possibly look into it for me. Nice guy, but didn't know much about it because apparently their service software doesn't have an open case system (SMART, right? One person is the gatekeeper on each repair, everybody else goes "Uhhhh, i dunno!") and had to ask someone else. This one actually called me back to let me know, it's already back in Modesto, repaired. Great, at least it's fixed, I'll drive the 50 miles there and back to pick it up, even if I'm annoyed that the tech assigned didn't let me know, nor did the staff at the Modesto store. I go pick it up, the staff are nice people and everything was taken care of with the service invoice because my work pays for AppleCare. But, stupid me, I didn't open the Macbook case; if I had, I would've immediately saw that my charging cable was gone, and that my Macbook was not fixed. The second I got it home, I opened the Macbook and instantly saw the flickering defect. Apparently the tech, in addition to showing up to work whenever he wants and never bothering to communicate with customers, decided not to bother and just sent it back. Apple pays for his time, worst case someone else has to deal with it now. What a tech wizard. I decided not to have them fix it because that's another 100m round trip to drop off and another to pick up, and another month of zero communication. Apple shipped me a box to send it to their official repair center, and they had it back in my hands two days later. No hassles, no issues. They replaced the monitor entirely, pretty much immediately upon receiving it. I should've had them do it in the first place. I called for several weeks thereafter about my charging cable. Modesto ClickAway had me call the Tracy shop directly about it, and the Tracy shop said it was impossible because "it's not their policy to accept customer charging cables" (an odd policy, what if the charging cable was causing issues with a laptop?) - nevermind that it was tucked in the box when I left it with them (with the cable extension, even the glass cleaner and manual), and was not in the box when I got it back. They asked the tech about it and he said he didn't have it. I called Modesto and explained what was going on, and that I was upset that they took it but blame me. They said they'd send me one anyways, even though they were sure it wasn't their fault (I get that "customer is always right" is a stupid notion in a lot of cases, but when the customer IS right and you tell them they're wrong, it's a bad look). Whatever. I thank them for offering and would let them know when I received it in the mail. Nothing. I call back a week later, "oh yeah, forgot about that, what's your address again?" Wait another week, and nothing. After the third time I called and they said they'd send it out ASAP, I figure they're purposely giving me lip service so I'd stop calling. Accepting that they are complete frauds as a company, I had my employer send me a new one so I could actually use my work laptop. I will never go here again. They are probably an alright place to buy a new, working phone. They are not however a good place to use for repair; certainly not for a laptop. In summary: PROS: - Nice people at the store CONS: - Zero communication, will not even call back when they say they will - Chaotic, no organization or open case software; nobody knows about your repair except the tech assigned - May not fix your device, but will say they did (lesson learned: test in the store upon pick up) - May steal or misplace peripherals and blame you (lesson learned: take picture of contents you give them, check for contents in store upon pick up) and will give lip service for as long as it takes for you to stop bothering them about sending a new one (or finding the one they took) read more

We were waiting in line to be helped for a long time (a woman with an appointment got tired of waiting a left). Finally it was our turn and the guy skips us and helps out some dude. Are you kidding me? It was obvious we had been waiting longer. Whatever, we eventually get helped. We're there to pick up the phones and cases we had ordered a few days earlier and we were told they'd be ready. So everything is ready but one case. I'm irritated that I have to leave with a $750 phone with no protection. They offered to let me pick from the cases they had there, but I ordered one for a reason and I've already waited for it so I leave the store. I keep calling to check on the status of my order, they don't call me once. Finally, two weeks later they tell me it's back ordered. I'm done. Got my money back and I'm not using this store again. I was calling around today looking to end my relationship with my cellular provider after 14 years, so I called this Verizon store. I asked if they had phone protection and he said yes even on the iJunk. Wow what a first class operation Verizon is. He then went on to inform me that some people don't have to pay activation fee's but if your self employed you do. I'll keep looking for a new cellular company but Verizon is off the list. read more

They are the worst customer service and they are thieves there was a guy that used to work there his name was Alan he was a really good guy but when he left I return to the store to change my phone and there was a guy named Frank light skin guy he told me I can update I have to buy the whole bundle and it comes with a lot of accessories and stuff and they wanted me to pay a month for one phone and couple accessories for almost $200 so I believed him because you told me I can update or buy a phone without the bundle. Long story short I called Verizon and I told him about the situation they told me to return it and go to a real Verizon store not a retailer. I went back to return the phone and they wouldn't give me my activation fee and my tax money that I paid for the phone so I was really mad why didn't do anything I called Verizon and they told me that they will refund it towards my account so there are a total scammers !!! so I went to the one on Pelandale and what does toys are real Verizon store I recommended they had the Great and the best customer service they were so honest. I wish I could give this store, their staff and the management TEN (10) stars! I found myself in a difficult situation that required me to quickly change cell phone services. The staff went above and beyond anything I have ever experienced in customer service. They accommodated my needs by driving to their warehouse to pick up phones for me, they shipped phones to my children who live out of town, they helped me with promotions, pricing and anything else that seemed to come up. I truly felt like family with them. They were friendly, competent and reliable. My situation was tense and demanding and they didn't flinch with any of the difficulties. The rose to the challenge and took care of my entire situation. They were prompt, courteous and competent. It is extremely sad that we often can take the time to write our bad reviews and yet when a business deserves a good review, we get lazy and take their excellence for granted. I have been going to this store for a long time for my Verizon service. Everyone is very friendly and so informed! I've had incidents where my phone locks up and starts acting funny and I tried figuring it out on my own following Google instructions and I had no luck. Fortunately, these guys are so smart, they fixed the bug within minutes! (And I was rolling with a messed up phone for like a month). I just went in a week ago and got a new phone. I went with the S7 after having the S6 for a long time. Norma helped me out and helped me make my decision on which phone to get. I was so indecisive if I should buy the s7 or the new Pixel phone. I'm very happy I went with the S7. I love Samsung and I couldn't go with anything other than Samsung. I love that I didn't have to do any research on the phones because she knew the specs. (I don't have time for that! I have 2 small children). She made my transaction so easy and smooth! and they were so patient with me while my 2 kids were a bit hyper. Thankfully,they have a waiting area with TV. we put on some cartoons for them while we worked on my phone. oh yeah, they also gave them candy! not only do we buy our phones there but they also hooked us up with xfinity service for our TV and Internet. we love it! thanks guys for all that you guys do for me and my family when it comes to our phones! read more

They will lead you to believe that they are verizon and then give you the shittiest service you will ever receive in your entire life. They overcharged me for an iPhone 7 and then when I realized the price was incorrect (two minutes after I had swiped my card) they told me that there was nothing they could do and if i wanted to return the phone they would charge me a $75 restocking fee. I HADNT EVEN LEFT THE STORE LET ALONE TOUCHED THE NEW PHONE YET. I asked to speak with the manager and he just backed up his dumbfuck employee. They then proceeded to tell me that I could call customer service but that they didn't think it would change anything. Long story short, the REAL verizon customer service was extremely helpful and credited my account the restocking fee that these assholes charged me. My boyfriend and I came in with the intention of switching carriers. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon. There was one person working and she was helping customers at the time. She looked at us, but she didn't acknowledge or greet us, she didn't tell us she would be right with us, we went into the waiting area to sit for a few minutes, came back out and stood there for a few more minutes, and she never said a word to us. We walked out. Maybe it's because it was an hour before closing time and she didn't want to take on another customer, I'm not sure but I would never recommend this place to anybody.
