My husband asked me well over a year ago to start thinking about a diamond ring upgrade for our 30th wedding anniversary . He had been saving for years to buy me an upgraded larger diamond ring. After many months /weeks of researching diamonds online and searching for what I might like I just about gave up - it was too overwhelming. One Monday evening I came across Dillon's Website for 'Big Sky Brilliance' on Instagram. After looking through all his custom designed pieces he had on his sight I decided to message him. I filled him in on what I wanted and how lost I felt of where to begin . Dillon made arrangements to call me again that next week and took over an hour to go over my questions and preferences and educated me on so many important things with choosing a natural diamond . I KNEW almost immediately we would work with him for this special ring . After another helpful phone conversation or so Dillon ordered multiple incredible natural diamonds for us to choose from . We made the trip to Helena and chose "my diamond ". it was so, so special and meaningful . Over the next weeks he emailed renderings for the ring and diamond setting. He also made and mailed a composite / template of the ring design itself that I could try on and better visualize . It was so helpful to have that . We made one small alteration to the design and off it went to casting . When we recently picked up the finished product, my custom designed ring ,we were blown away!! I thrive to someday rent a space from them even if I live out of state. I don't really know how to explain my experiences here as I have visited more than once. The selection in comic books is great and I always visit Maggie's space to check out what's new there. I have in my possession a beautiful silver labradorite ring and Labradorite necklace charm from here. The necklace charm was from Maggie's space. We were even able to find a pearl necklace for our Grandmom Maggie as well. She loved it. The kitty in front of the store that I keep wanting to call Charlie but I just can't recall his name for some reason is a great snuggly greeter. Oh and I even purchase a vintage raisin from Maggie's space as well. To be honest I have collected some great vintage items from here and the prices are perfect! I don't live in Helena but do visit during holidays and always make sure this is the first place I visit right along with 1889 coffee house for a nice caffeinated experience after travel or visit with family. I'm talking repairs, adjustments, and complete fabrication of new Jewlery. Just recently I took my wife's diamond wedding ring in to attach some ring guards, and I decided to upgrade her main diamond too, and he produced the most BEAUTIFUL ring we have ever seen. It's a solitaire surrounded by 10 smaller montana sapphires. (See pics) And then there was the time I found a 4.2K raw sapphire in a bag of ore at BlazenGems, and after cutting, it turned into a beautiful 1.3K oval sapphire, and I took that stone to him and he put it on a ring and surrounded it with diamonds and it became my wife's very own Princess Dianna ring!! (See pics). There's been a bunch of other things he has done for me and I have some projects planned, but he is clearly THE choice for jewelers in the Helena area. He can literally take your ideas and just make them into reality. I am very happy with Tim's work and I can't recommend him any higher than I am now. Thanks Tim!
