Looks like a decent enough place to stay. Staff wasn't very friendly but I guess you can't expect much out of government employees having to work a holiday.

The lodge has several rooms available. Nothing fancy, but clean and affordable. The restaurant has never disappointed me. There used to be a pretty good buffet, but not sure if that is still available. It's been too long since I've camped, so I can't speak of the campgrounds. I enjoyed an afternoon at the community pool, $8, adult admission. The pool was clean and had plenty of lifeguards on duty. The water slide looked fun. There are several lockers if you want to store anything. On the road close to the pool, there are several picnic shelters you can reserve with grills, restrooms and a playground. There is also an outdoor pavilion where concerts are held. There is lots to do at Greenbo, and it is a gorgeous Kentucky State Park.

Last time I checked leap year comes every 4 years. It is sad that I will never go back after this last insane excuse, we literally rented 4 cabins, which is alot of money. It is consistently cold in the cavern, and we dressed appropriately and were comfortable. This included neoprene fingerless gloves, wool socks, and clean water shoes. You cannot wear regular shoes as they scratch the clear kayaks. Our guide, Drew, and his "photographer", Matthew, were excellent. We felt safe, he provided a good amount of information, and had a sense of humor. A really cool experience in the Red River Gouge area.

He took great photos of each of us and our group. The group was small, which I loved because it never felt rushed. The colorful lights you see as you make your way through the cave are very awesome. Just a heads up, your feet and bottom will get very cold! Definitely wear layers and socks. We went in the summer and were still freezing by the end. Still, it was absolutely one of the best things I've done.

I was traveling alone with a dog and they wouldn't allow a dog in the store so I had to tie my dog to a bench outside. Also there was so many flys it was hard to enjoy our time there we tried to use vinegar and dish soap we also bought fly traps nothing seemed to help. I came home with over 10 bits using bug repellent! The shower area had no soap for hand washing for 2 days I was there.. I also heard ppl up partying and yelling well after quitting time!

There's a boat launch area, where they are also currently constructing what looks like a boat house, and a couple of piers. Across the street from the boat launch are two parking areas and two picnic shelters, one uphill and one downhill. The downhill shelterhouse also has a nice playground nearby. Unless you are in a boat, this park feels a bit smaller than others, as there's not a lot to do on land. The views are very nice, however. It was foggy on our visit, which made for some fun photography!

We booked this site at the last minute so we were lucky to get it this time of year. Of course it…read morewas one of the few that had no trees to speak of so most of the day it was hot. But we needed a site close to the shower house. Speaking of the shower house it was small wish only two restroom stalls and two shower stalls but they were relatively clean. My sons told me that there was only one working shower stall for the guys which was a bummer for them. There was another shower house on the property which looked bigger than the other one. There are about 70 sites in this campground, with about half under trees and the other half in the sun. Some of the sites were larger than others (ours were one of these) which felt more private. This campground is also in the middle of a golf course so golfers will like it here. The lake is close but you will have to drive to get there. It is about 12 miles out of Grayson so you will need to take everything you need before you head out there. They do sell ice and firewood at the campground however. Where our site was it was very quiet but I noticed that where the sites were more congested it was a bit noisier. This campground is clean and a good place to stay, especially if you want to use the lake. We will probably try another one the next trip we take however.
