They're doing a good job rehabilitating it there's not as many individual stores inside they've moved the gymnasium into where the food court used to be and it's taking a lot of the empty space they've got four massaging chairs you have to be careful when you pay for the card because you might hit the 45 minute button for $15 instead of $5 for 15 minutes. That being said the chair closest to the box office movie theater I think is the most comfortable. My only complaint is I wish the website had more up-to-date information of where the new businesses are going in. I know they're going to be getting new businesses but I don't know where they're going. I think their map is up to date for what is in the mall. I'm not around here on Sundays to go to the flea market but I do know they have a flea market the pictures look like it is an interesting time. FYI on massage chair don't use it more than 5 to 15 minutes unless you want your back to be bruised by the very very strong rollers. read more

The mall itself was very small and outside buildings were laid out weird. You couldn't visit other stores without going outdoors and it was single digits. Around 1:30 pm I was really lightheaded and need to eat something, I'm diabetic. I went to MochaLisa's and ordered a bagel with cream cheese. You would think this was a quick order. There were 4 or 5 people working the counter and I was the only person waiting for take-out. After about 15 minutes I finally asked what was taking so long. They said, oh there are other orders. Really? for takeout? Then they said their toaster was on the 'low' setting. I should have just asked for a refund and gotten a slice of pizza. Will never be going to this place again! read more

While I would never say that this mall was "exciting" or "fun", I did come here a lot between 2007 and 2016 when I lived around the corner because some of the stores were convenient. But had I been a teen during that time frame, I doubt I would have found much to do with my friends. Fast forward to 2023, and I was in the mall for a movie. The place was a dead zone at night. Many of the stores are gone, a few of the larger ones have been converted into odd things (a Trampoline Park? for example), and the food court is pretty limited. Whether it was due to the pandemic or the general shift in relocating all of the stores outside to the surrounding strip mall(s), this place just doesn't have much going for it anymore. read more

The focus of my review is primarily going to be about the indoor mall area. This once was a typical shopping mall with many stores only having access to the public from an interior mall corridor. Over the years, as shoppers' preferences changed to preferring stores that could be accessed directly from the outdoor parking area, this complex changed also. Now, more than 50 businesses/services have front door access to the parking lots and only 7 retail/service/entertainment businesses and 4 fast food establishments are located solely in the indoor mall. However, what this means is that there is minimal pedestrian activity inside the mall. That also means that it is a good place to do exercise walking. You will not find crowds of people obstructing your space or pace. A complete lap of the indoor mall, passing closely by each of the four entrances, is approximately 0.4 mile. Yes, that means it takes about five laps to walk a mile. But you are never more than 0.2 mile from the door you entered by should you need to shorten your exercise period and return to your car. read more

Be CAREFUL visiting this site. I was hit by a person here doing demolish work for the mall. I called 911. The Owner and the manager both have prejudices within them because I received a no trespass for being hit and my retaliation was call 911. NYSP badge # 1209 said it would be harassment. Caution yourself if you don't want to be hit by people that are working for the mall. Running a construction zone no safety equipment on, hard hats, safety shoes, reflective clothing, dumpster outside of man door not marked off, no caution tape, area for path of demolition not secluded from general public, heavy machinery being parked on curb during operating hours where the general public have access, other vehicles parked in fire zones, no visible fire suppression equipment in work zone, no visible smoke detectors, no visible carbon monoxide detectors. Different parts of concrete floor jack hammered out appears to be part of the Alaskan slab the mall is built on, that's the foundation. Is this building safe? Does the general public belong there? Emergency exit blocked by dumpster. Is that another fire hazard? read more

The mall is a ghost town. Walkers are discouraged and leisurely shopping not advantageous. Not friendly place to hang out! Avoid at all cost!!! read more

I actually don't mind this little mall. I don't like going to the large malls in the area unless I have to. Clifton Park Center has most of my favorite stores. I love Boscov's, Bath & Body Works, this smaller JCPenney, LOFT, Marshall's/Home Goods, MochaLisa's, Regal Cinema and have also made the occasional stop in their food court, which has some tasty options. I recommend it. Especially when you just don't feel like dealing with the madness of the larger malls but want to shop! Never had a bad experience here. Enjoy! read more

Wow what a massive improvement especially inside. CPC inside is all the sudden clean and beautiful (post renovations Fall 2011). Stunning tile flooring looks awesome through out. Major store front updates as well. Yes, it's still missing any serious stores other than the Marshalls, Boscov's, a Radioshack, and a The Body Shop. However there are serious signs of life- new theater, a new boutique where Tilt used to be. On it's way up. read more

Clifton Park Center is basically a strip mall with a movie theater. Inside, the mall there is only a movie theater, Boscovs, and a play area for kids. Also, there is a miniature arcade and a small food court. The highlights of the mall is the movie theater, the arcade, and the Hot Dog Charlie's in the food court. The mall is small, but it is pretty clean for the most part. Obviously you wouldn't come to this mall if you were going shopping, but it's a nice place to watch a movie and grab some hot dogs. To conclude, Clifton Park Center is a fine little mall to watch a movie, but don't plan on going shopping here. read more

I swear, this place has regenerated more times than Dr. Who. Even its name has changed (formerly the Clifton Country Mall) as it has grown. The original building, with its unique shape, was interesting to walk through, with a parking lot a bit more challenging through which to navigate. But it's been changed, tweaked, expanded - now its even got a Hilton Hotel attached. It's always managed to have a few stores which continue to lure me to shop. I keep my sanity about this place by trying to avoid any serious shopping here during peak times, such as the holidays. But with some patience and careful navigation, it can be a good shopping experience. read more

Although I came into this Center on a whim when I thought I'd catch my first delivery on DoorDash in the Troy region (where DoorDash said is a "hotspot"), when I came into this plaza yesterday, I actually found this area not to be so "hot". Yes, it's got it's Starbucks and even an unattached Buffalo Wild Wings, but other than that, the mall that contains a interior corridor, really doesn't have much other than a Marshalls, a GameStop and a few tiny more-local names taking up it's "food court" with only a handful of tables (I could count them, but what's the use?). I tried to walk down the ramps all over this mall, but because of the slipperiness of the unwaxed floor (the surface seems glazed over and smooth), I felt I was going to trip and fall (I could have taken the stairs, but I chose not to.). It's got it's connection point to one of the local hotels inside it, yet no hotel building seems to be anywhere on site. I didn't see any mall personnel anywhere around (other than store employees in a few of these stores - but not all) and thought to myself "why did I really come here again", as I found another shift open in the region where I know work would be better in Colonie (only to find that too was bad). I just guess DoorDash just won't catch on much in Albany, with Uber Eats and GrubHub servicing the region well. It's no wonder Bill Z rated this place a 3. Parking was a bit tricky - much like he said. It's got one tiny parking lot out front of the interior-corridor mall with no shady spots, yet for the rest of the mall, it's got a small few (2-3 spread sparsely around a slightly bigger lot). When I was inside, I spotted yet another parking lot, but I couldn't tell how to get to it, having no access road from my vantage point inside). It's bathrooms look quite outdated too, and not well upkept. And besides that, having one stall and one urinal with two sinks really makes this place seem tiny and not so great. I wouldn't believe the men's room tends to get much business, but there's just something that tells me "something is going downhill here" (much like the mall nearer me in Kingston, NY - Ulster Co.). read more

The mall used to be much better a couple years ago. They took out most of the good clothing stores and there is only Marshall's and JCP. Also they do the have the best food court the pizza place is good but the employees are rude at hot dog Charlie's . And at the one end of the mall the took out all of the stores besides boscovs and planet fitness read more

The original indoor mall should never have been demolished. Downsizing and creating a massive outdoor mall has not brought in customers. People who live in the Northeast prefer shopping in an indoor mall, especially if it's 30 below outside. I miss the original mall. It was so different from the malls south of this location, and the current one does not hold a candle to the Wilton or Aviation Mall to the north. Clifton Park is experiencing a population boom and its residents deserve a large sprawling indoor mall at least the size of the Wilton Mall. As the saying goes, "If you build it, they will come." read more
