BEWARE!! DO NOT use or suggest anyone too this company especially the owner Mike he is dishonest. This is why I scheduled an appointment for a tuneup/clean up of furnace as well as an inspection of the furnace heater because it wasn't properly turning on Mike the owner stated that my six year old furnace "warranty expired" comes too find he stated my new furnace needed $1500 "in repairs that were needed" to fix he "faulty" furnace. So I payed Mike the owner $125 for the so called "tuneup" and "inspection" job and he went on his way. The next day I called a second company too get a second opinion and comes too find out they told me there was no tuneup done too the furnace at ALL!! Even though I paid Mike the previous day to do so. And that's NOT ALL. The "repairs" mike the owner suggested were "necessary" were false and dishonest according to the other company Terry and Nancy HVAC. So I had to pay a second time to get the job inspected and tuned up right this time. Comes to find out a heat sensor was blocked from the built up of dust that was blocking the heater from turning on which I paid the owner Mike too do so and didn't. The second company also pointed out my furnace had a ten year warranty. But according to Mike it only had a six year warranty that just "expired" which was also dishonest of Mike. Therefore when I tried calling him to confront him twice about this. He would immediately hang up on me. So please do not trust climate design Inc With your furnace needs unless you're willing to deal with untrustworthy behavior and Crooked work of the of this so called "business owner" Mike. read more

This company is awesome. I called Mike on a Sunday with a fan furnace issue. He was so patient with me and walked me through some troubleshooting. He came over the next morning, in a heavy snowstorm (thank you Mike!) and was able to find and fix the issue immediately. Mike is awesome. He is the owner of the company, and very knowledgable. He was professional and friendly. I'm new to the area and this was my first experience with Climate Design. I wasn't sure what to expect but Mike went above and beyond. January 5th 2024. Came home from work to find my house only 60°. Went downstairs furnace not working called climate design and Mike answered the phone explained my problem with my furnace. He walked me through a few steps figured out what it might be. He was at my house 35 minutes later with a brand new part to get my furnace running. Mike from Climate Design came this morning to clean the coils in my air conditioning Unit in preparation for summer. He didn't charge me. He was on time as he always is, polite and respectful. I would highly recommend this company, in particular Mike the owner, for all furnace and air conditioning needs. Several years ago, Mike installed my furnace and my central air conditioning unit at a fair and reasonable price. I had a humidifier installed in October and it STILL isn't working. I have called, left many voicemails, even emailed multiple times to try to get ahold of them to come take a look and have not heard anything back. The guy that installed it was super nice and friendly. I am about to actually show up in person to their office to get this resolved. It's like they did the job and abandoned me. This IS NOT how you do business. NOT recommended due to VERY poor communication. UPDATE: They finally contacted me ironically shortly after I posted that review. The original installation technician came onsite free of charge and modified the unit as well as seemed to be very knowladgeable of what the issue was. Bob, the tech at Climate Design, provided me with service above and beyond my expectation. I called Mike Edde at Climate Design for a second opinion after another company told me I needed a new furnace to the tune of $6700. My furnace is 14 yrs. old and I've never had trouble with it. I called the first company for a routine winterization i.e. cleaning and filter replacement. When Bob came out, he said there was nothing wrong with the furnace that a thorough cleaning wouldn't take care of. He also called the manufacturer and found out if there had been a serious issue, the major parts are covered for 25 years!!! Terrible or incompetent that the first company would try and sell me an unnecessary, ultra expensive furnace. BTW, Bob made some minor changes to the filter compartment to make it easier to change the filter in the future. Thank you, Climate Design!!! read more

Mike at Climate Design is great. Prompt, professional, friendly and he is very knowledgeable. He explains everything in simple, easy to understand terms. He does fabulous work at a very reasonable price. We had our humidifier replaced recently and it was done in less than 2 hours and for under $450 for the unit and installation. Similar to another reviewer, NOT recommended due to VERY poor communication. I called to have someone checkout a noise my furnace was making and finally after a number of calls and even using their website, someone finally came out. Once out here, they were supposed to service the furnace and help diagnose what was going on. However, it appears that they did nothing in terms of service except for some dusting and didn't want to stay to hear the furnace making noises. They did tell me to call back and tell them where the noise was coming, which I did, but I NEVER heard back from them after nearly two weeks. I had a good experience with them a couple of years ago which prompted me to use them again. However, after this experience, I will never use them again. Doesn't seem like they care about customers. They just collected my money and were never heard from again! STAY AWAY!!!! read more

We called Climate Design last year because we had no heat, they came twice to fix the same problem. Our heat went out again last week, I called them and left a message......4 days with no call. My husband called and left another message yesterday, no return call. Finally, my husband called the emergency line. With no call back and my home sitting at 64 degrees with small children, we called another company that was able to get to our home within the hour. They considered this situation and EMERGENCY. This company is eager to take your money but the quality of work is less that 1 star. The company that came out to fix our heat, stated what was wrong and said our system had never been cleaned. We paid Climate Design to clean it out last year! I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. read more

One of the most unprofesional businesses I have ever dealt with. The owner Mike is rude. When as a profesional is it ok to tell one of your customers "WELL WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOUT IT". He hung up on my wife on the phone mid sentence. It took a week to just get the OWNER to over the phone troubleshoot the problem. He ordered a new fan motor. Low and behold the tec shows up on week 2 no ac and its not the fan motor. It was a whole in the condencer because the unit was installed with faulty parts. Week 3 they finally got the right part. Didnt call before they came out they looked me square in the eye and told me I said someone would be home all week. YOU LIE TO ME STRAIGHT TO MY FACE? then when i tell them i didnt say that you tell me "yes you did" HUH? You lie to me to my face then call me a liar to my face? In my own house? Tye tec that came out told me i would get a phone call before someone came out. THEN im supposed to feel lucky you came out cause your schedule is booked? IVE BEEN WITHOUT AC FOR 3 WEEKS!!! over a part that gets shipped overnight? Worst part is the tec that came out was like "yea mike is like that to his customers" you want a good laugh?
