can't leave a zero star rating to make this post... Contacted the company, they never returned my call. Went with Western Disaster Recovery...glad I did !! I wanted to have my air ducts cleaned and my furnace serviced and Western Disaster Recovery took care of providing contractors for me instead of my doing all of the coordination. I called and I think it was owner who responded and promised to come out the next morning. Owner showed up and when asked if he would put on mask, he said he did not have one. We offered him a new disposable one to use and he said he did not wear masks and was "old fashioned." He refused even though we have someone with compromised immune system in our household. He said some of his workers would wear masks and that one would come back at 4 pm. No one ever showed up. If I could give 0 stars I would. I am in disbelief of his actions. read more

The team was very patient in working with us on the warranty, which needed to have ownership clarified; it would have been easier for them just to replace the whole unit. My 20 year old AC finally died, and going to Yelp, I picked a few of the top rated HVAC companies to get a evaluation from. So let's be real honest here, before you go out and pick the highest rated company with a fleet of logo laden vans and matching uniforms, let me save you some time. When I submitted a quote request on Yelp, this company was the first to respond, yet unknowingly, I went with one of those other companies to get a evaluation, my first mistake. So after I found out my AC was trash, I got bids from about 4-5 of the "highly rated companies", all of which made me gasp, then I met with Josh from ICE who gave me options, no pressure, no sales pitch, just honest options to fix my issue and all at a very attractive price that did not break the bank. We then decided that replacing the furnace would also be a good idea and Josh concurred as it would be easier to replace the whole thing and cost less than doing it in the future, and I am glad we did. They ripped out the entire hack job furnace that the builder put in 20 years ago, fixed several issues that were a result of that and did a full, end to end install that was flawless using top of the line brand that has a warranty that will last well over a decade for everything. AND all at a price that was only a little more than what the others were charging for JUST the AC unit. Veteran owned and the most honest business I have dealt with, and let's be real, we all wait for the shock when we call a repair man or plumber, etc.. Not with ICE. So before you go out and support a fleet of logo vans and uniforms, give these guys a call, you will be very surprised and then give this review a thumbs up for saving you a lot of grief. read more

We had an old furnace that was working fine but we decided we needed to upgrade. These guys asked if the house was built in '68 and I confirmed it. They told me we had the original furnace which was impressive. They came in and gave us an estimate and we sent them on their way so we could have others make an offer. ICE had decent reviews and were $1k less than anyone else! They also installed a model two levels above the ground level furnace from a VERY good top three brand! We had glitches but all were addressed! The furnace was supposed to be installed on a Monday yet it was delivered to their warehouse beat to hell so they postponed the installation to the next day. They showed up Tuesday early and I warned them that I had a doctors appt in the afternoon. They were having problems with the old thermostat so I told them to change it. Most of the time folks would think this was a sale ploy but we had been having problems. Remember 1968! A few weeks later we had no heat and I gave a call. ICE came out and found out one of us had turned the thermostat to cool! They didn't charge us! Thanks guys for the great furnace and the excellent service! Great crew of hard workers out in the sun all day so that I could get cool in my house. They installed a couple AC units for upper and lower levels to get a consistent temperature throughout the house and fixed some bad wiring left over from an old system. Josh is really responsive and even came out again after the service to address a quick question I had and make sure I was 100% happy. These guys all know their stuff and had several options for me without pressuring or upselling, just laying out pros and cons and trade-offs. I scheduled an appt with ICE to do an annual service/maintenace on our furnace. Scheduled appt. for the following Wednesday and I was given a 1/2 hr. window arrival time. Which was far better than the 3 hr. window (and a 2 week wait) I was given by the company that installed the furnace. Josh from ICE arrived a couple of minutes early. He wore a face mask because of COVID and wore shoe covers. Josh was friendly, courteous and very receptive to answering question as he worked. He made a suggestion on how we might consider A UV light attachment to the furnace to help with my wife's allergy but was not pushy about trying to sell the product.
