So, recently, my kids had an appointment with this dental office. We used to go to one in or near…read moreWilliston, but they have since closed. This office in St. Albans was the first to come up as a "better" option for dental care for kids. Well, sadly all my kids were sick with a bug and could not make it to the appointment; I was as well. Since some businesses prefer you to stay home in that case (Covid reasons maybe) I had to cancel my appointment. It was the same day as the appointment, but I had no choice. They sent me a letter telling me to find another dentist and removed my kids from the office. Confused, cause that is not a normal reaction to cancelling an appointment, I went there in person to try and resolve this.
The dentist was not in during that day, so I waited for a call back. 3 weeks later, nothing! Finally went there today to explain what had happened and get this issue resolved. Wouldnt you know it, the man at the front basically told me "Sorry but there is no way you can come here anymore and its best to seek another dentist"; referring back to the initial letter I had received. I literally said; "So, basically, my kids cant come here anymore because of this letter and I can go kick rocks! that about right?" to which he replied; "Pretty much, yeah!" So, not only did I not get to speak with the person who runs the office and resolve this matter, the receptionist told me, in no uncertain terms, to "F" off.
I have never had to deal with some thing like this before and the dissatisfaction that came from it has become a common theme for a lot of business in small cities like St. Albans. I would have been satisfied if they would have been a little more empathetic to the reason for the cancellation but, shocker, they were not. I highly recommend those reading this to seek other dental care elsewhere.
