Every time I saw their inundation of tv ads...Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, naming rights for our local arena, etc...it led me to research what they spend annually...more than $1 billion. Why? I became unhappy I was subsidizing this seeming overspend. Looked locally when another increase came my way. There they were/are...local...customer-focused and at a reduced rate with some additional coverage for home, car rental, etc. Was somewhat familiar with our eventual choice...Auto Owners and now a year later have found Harrington to be a very smart choice at every metric. Comforted by knowing what to expect from them, the service they provide. Not many may sing the praises of their insurance quest...but I certainly will.

They dont like immigrants/accent…read more.. I called them up for a homeowners quote on 4/11/2019. The lady who initially took the call was very POLITE. I was told that a male agent (can't recall his name anymore) will call me back soon. In few minutes sure enough an older guy called me back. After a few sentence it was obvious to me that he is an old seasoned pro, doing this job forever. VERY EXPERIENCED!!!. He took the needed information. He did not say anything unprofessional but it was CLEAR that there is some subtle dislike towards me. I did not object on it., I did let it go.... He asked me if I own my house?...I told him I did...."Are you sure?".....I said I know that I own it....."Is it paid off?"...."Yes Sir, it is. It is free and clear".... "Hmmm" he said. It was pretty weird. Many people have paid off houses. At that point I knew that something set him off. Agents wanting your business will say something like this: " I will call you back with a quote in few hours". Or something along those lines. Not him! He said: "I know your email, I will email you IF I can help you".....I was 110% sure that I wont hear from him again. Sure enough there was no news from him. I am an immigrant living in the States for 20+ years. I own 2 houses. My credit is 840. I never filed an insurance claim in my life. I have a pretty good command of English. SO ANY INSURANCE COMPANY/BROKER SHOULD BE ABLE TO PROVIDE ME A QUOTE WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM. CONCLUSION: the "gentleman" disliked my accent more than he liked the easy money he could have made offering me a policy. I reached out to them 3x via their website asking what happened. Trying to find out why he never gave me a quote. The 3rd time I voiced the suspicion ( remained well mannered) that the old guy has discriminated against me bc I am an immigrant. They never got back to me to discuss the matter. NOT ONCE! I did let them know that I will write a review. They ignored it, no calls or email response from them. I HOPE THIS REVIEW WILL HELP SOMEONE IN THE FUTURE . IF YOU HAVE AN ACCENT PERHAPS IT IS WISE TO TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE WHERE IT IS WANTED.

Well Raymond is definitely continuing on the legacy, customer care and fairness that Lawrence had given before. I came in one day to pay my bill. I sat down to talk to Raymond about my insurance. Since I barely drive my car, he worked with me to lower my premium and get a plan that works for me! Now I pay significantly less than I had been. He is such a nice man and easy to talk to! He was talking about his kids and you can really tell he loves his family! If you are looking for insurance, this is the place! I had my co worker call back and she was transferred to Raymond without hesitation. I got on the line and explained to him what had just transpired with his office manager and his response was, "Oh I'll have a talk with her". Really!!!!!! No apology or any type of empathy from him at all! Business must be really good for this agent and he has no need for new business! Well if that's the case I'm glad because he will never get my business or anyone I know! Unfortunately, what started as a great experience with Savannah and Jason, ended terribly. Our…read morequotes looked great across the board, we paid the initial payment and subsequently cancelled our prior insurance. From there, the care, attention to detail and support went downhill. All of our policies were misquoted, with coverage not being the same as what was sold to us or that of what our declaration pages provided. Our homeowner's policy took over a month to go through underwriting to come out incorrect and not even covering the full value of our home. When Jason was tasked with responding to our concerns, he deflected on State Farm's systems or that Savannah made mistakes. There was never an apology or desire to proactively communicate. When we would connect to Jason and team, it would take days for responses where ownership or again, proactive fixing was never done. We are two months into this journey and our policies are still being fixed. Jason has decided to back out of helping to right his agency's wrongs and has requested we move to a different agent. The pass off of garbage work to another agency is a true indicator of their work product at this office. We've actually laughed at how wrong this entire process has gone considering the glowing reviews Jason's office has. Perhaps we just happened to capture all of the mess ups and issues? Regardless, find yourself a referral and I hope you don't onboard a PT job managing an insurance agent who can't seem to get it together. Let alone allow someone to play with your hard-earned assets like we have-it's unsettling how flippant someone can be.
