Being a COVID-2020 bride, we had rescheduled our wedding 3x, the last 2x in hopes of Chewie making the wedding. Needless to say, I was in shambles and when I reached out to Mirthica, I half expected her to tell me it was too last minute. Fortunately, she not only listened to our story with empathy and sharing her own story, she also made the whole process super easy and fun. She was communicative the entire time up until the shoot. She had given me her advice on the outfits that both Chewie and I were picking out. She worked with me to change the times (since it was the heatwave and there's no way we coulda survived taken pics in the afternoon). During the shoot, she taught us how to pose, was gentle with Chewie, was very patient, was super fun/easy to get along with, and did everything in her power to get us the best pics (we broke a few rules here and there lol). After the shoot, she sent me a couple of sneak peeks which was so nice! I just got my pics back this afternoon and we are literally gushing over them with our families. Her pictures were beautifully edited (in the bright california haze style that we love) and it's exactly what we wanted (which is that our baby Chewie is the star!)

His portraits seemed to tell a story about the person rather than simply produce a flattering photograph. That was exactly my experience. Jeff gave very clear direction on posture, positioning and expression, which was particularly helpful because I don't naturally know how to pose for a camera. He worked remarkably efficiently; the actual photography took very little time, but he produced a wide variety of genuinely different images. What I particularly appreciated was that the photographs didn't all tell the same story. I ended up with a traditional executive portrait that works perfectly for professional purposes, but also some less conventional, more editorial portraits that show considerably more personality. They are all recognizably me, but different versions of me. The hardest part was narrowing down the photographs I wanted to keep. There were simply a lot of good ones.
