The online booking process was easy. We met at the appointed time and were driven to the top of ridge for launch. After a few minutes of instruction, we got strapped into our harnesses, then attached to our individual pilots. It all felt very safe and not at all frightening. My pilot, AJ, watched the windsock for the updraft. When it came, he gave the anticipated command and I started to run. The wind filled with air behind us and we began to move down the hill until we were, like magic, running in the air. It was exhilarating! The flight itself was peaceful, quiet, and downright comfortable. It lasted several minutes but I could have gone all day. The landing was smooth and completed on my butt with the harness protecting my behind. Lol. All in all it was an amazing experience and worth every dime!

Old silly ideas from childhood that I assumed were long gone, were actually hanging around and holding me back. I feel very free and liberated after 2 rounds of belief-busting and I highly recommend checking that out if you're feeling stuck or "not good enough" or any other crapola like that. He's got a simple method that actually works to figure out what the beliefs are and shine the light on them so they don't unconsciously bother you anymore. Really fantastic!

Their staff and the owner were both incredibly helpful, responsive, and knowledgable about which of their bikes might work for me, and they set me up on a great Giant! The owner even called around to other shops to other bike shops to find the pedals I was looking for when they didn't have any left! Furthermore, the owner went above and beyond to drop off a part for the seatpost where I was staying in the valley as their shop was closed. We went on kind of a whim, so I had no idea that we were going to pass through Glenwood Canyon, when I planned our itinerary. This was such a treat! The canyon views will take your breath away. Some of the rock formations looked like ancient cities. There was some construction happening during our drive, so it reduced the speed to 40 MPH, which we were glad happened because we were able to observe the majestic views. I did not want this ride to end. There are some rest stops along the way, so you can get out and explore a bit more outside of your car. We stopped at one and had access to the Colorado River and that was nice to see... looked like there was a trail for hiking and biking, too. Glenwood Canyon is a definitely must, when visiting Colorado. I was glad that we did this during the summer and not during our visit in the winter. I can't imagine driving through this, when it's icy, snowy and has the potential for avalanches. Colorado has some of the most amazing change in terrain and things will just pop-up and surprise you, like this place did.

Once you enter the East side of the canyon, the adorable town of Glenwood Springs and the relaxing hot springs are only a few more minutes away. Just another reminder of why we're so lucky to live in Colorful Colorado!

There are a lot of separate play areas, small streams, a small splash park and biking trails too. We saw rocks with clocks carved in on them, and we looked down and saw a big clock underneath our feet. Centennial Park is a work in progress. The park is located on Rifle Creek Trail between 3rd street and 9th street. One of the highlights of Centennial Park is the unique art work displayed throughout the park, giving visitors a glimpse into Rifle's history and western heritage. Centennial Park's signature event is the annual Fourth of July celebration featuring Symphony in the Valley in concert along with fireworks. Nick and I may plan another route to 4th of July here! I'm incredibly excited!! Overall, this park is amazing and one of my favorite stops. Any park with an Amphitheatre is worth visiting; lots of live music opportunities. Another cool fact I learned about Centennial Park that it's the celebration the 100 year anniversary of the town in Downtown Rifle, CO. This park includes: Art Playground Picnic Tables Benches Open Space Shelter Pond/Creek Soccer Field Restrooms

The Grand Valley Rec center is a huge facility with indoor pool, hot tub, sauna,…read more basketball, racquetball, and pickleball courts plus running track. Plenty of weights and equipment so one never really has to wait for a machine. For $30 monthly it's probably the best fitness facility between GJ and Glenwood. The building is 40 years old and shows her age in places that are not attended to. Sadly several of the staff are frequently moody, nasty and gossipy. The gal who runs the pool displays passive aggressive moments and speaks about many patrons with ill will. The morning front desk woman is generally foul mouthed and cranky. The manager has some strong qualities but he dips snuff during the workday without trying to hide it. What kind of example does this set?! Obviously there is a lack of good leadership and oversight, surprising as they are getting federal funds to offset the massive shortfall in budget.
