The owner is very nice and when he saw me and new I was new, went out of the way to introduce himself. I had a tour with one of the trainers who works out of the gym, and he was both super knowledgeable and nice. I have been when pretty busy, and when I was the only one in the place and never had an issue getting in my full workout. If I was to give any criticism it would be that the locker rooms are small (well the mens one is) but they cannot really do anything to change that, and they are adequate.

The gym is a fob entry system, I went in the morning and had the whole place to myself, they had an awesome environment with lots of options. I couldn't believe it. I had to have another gym member help me get it open. I've heard several other complaints about the helpfulness and kindness of the employees here. They aren't nice, they don't care, and unless you are spending a large amount of money here per month, you aren't worth their time. The place is hugely overpriced and there is never enough equipment available on the times you are there. Take my advice and go somewhere else. I promise you it's worth the drive to another gym.

So imagine my surprise when I set up a time for a PiYo (pilates-yoga flow) class here. The space is large and very well maintained and clean. (God, I love clean, I hate when you're in down dog and spy a hair cluster that sweeping missed). Lovely space. Good class selection. Seriously, if this were on the coast, users would probably pay $150+ a month to join. I've been to one class, hope to get in one more, but from one pro to another, Sarah Fechter has a good thing going. Keep it up and keep giving Saginaw a place to get their fit fab on. The only thing preventing me from giving it a full five stars was the reservation system. I found it really odd that FB posts/replies were how spots were reserved. They would probably be better served transitioning to MindBody or MYiClubOnline for class reservations so you don't have to wait for a FB reply to see if you're in or not.

Membership rates are by no means on the low-end of the spectrum like Planet Fitness, but alumni can join at a substantial discount. Day passes are also available. Current students and faculty/staff work out for free.
