The vet provided n upfront information about…read morethe cost of this service to us and it had been sometime since we have this done and we didn't expect th cost of 450.00 as we had taken others in prior for a very reasonable cost. So my spouse was upset about the cost at the time and now this vet makes it sound as though we did something wrong at the time and will not see any of our fur kids even when they are in need of care now and stop me that I would need to find another vet. It wasn't even me that was upset, not he, we were just shocked at the time and I was surprised but we paid it and I never said a word about it in any hostile tone or action. Somehow, being sticker shocked is now grounds for ignoring the needs of an animal over something that happen three years ago when someone was just upset from the cost at the time but they make seem as though something else happened but that isn't the case. He just walked out, I paid the bill with no hostile words or exchanges so they have decided to hold that against us and forsake the care of the animal in need. We have another vet we use, I was looking to get in sooner somewhere else in order to alleviate the little fella discomfort. Petcare Animal Hospital chooses to disregard the animal's needs for some one who got sticker shock three years ago so they put a note on our account that says: "The situation occurred in March of 2022 when Mr.X was upset about surgery charges for a cat which is the last time we saw you. You will have to find another vet." Who does that? It just says he was upset about charges and yet they won't see an injured animal.

My dog was boarded at Arf Arf for one month while I worked in Terre Haute. When I picked her up she…read morewas extremely sick and had dirreaha. I drove 8 hours with a sick dog who eventually pooped all over the back seat. My dog is a house dog which I informed them yet my dog was left outside from 7am to about 2 or 3pm in hott June. Her legs were severely eaten by something and she was apparently attacked by another dog and had a skin deep wound on her head where the hair was no longer visible. I was so disheartened to see my dog in this condition. On top of that I asked the owner to bathe my dog the day before I picked her up because she was so dirty from being outside her coat was very discolored. The owner told me that he would "wash the dirt off of her" which I appreciated. When I went to pick her up I was charged $65 for grooming that I didn't request. First off my dogs type doesn't require grooming and if a bath is $65 I feel like I should have been informed before providing such a costly service. They also gave her a bowel treatment without my permission which is why she was so sick and pooping everywhere. My experience was not a good one. The owners were kind people but business is business and my dog is my baby and I entrusted her to them and they did not provide quality service. I feel awful because now I have no idea what all my dog endured. If I find pics I will come back and post them. BTW: thus ya the second time I am posting this. The workers take the dogs out multiple times a day and do a late-night break as well. Mike (the owner) sent me pics and a couple videos throughout the day, which made me feel much better. Our girl likes to meet new friends, but she hates being in a kennel. She ran and played with four other large-breed dogs. When I picked her up, she was chill the rest of the evening, which means she got plenty of exercise because she is very high-energy. The price is also very reasonable. We will definitely return!

I got a discount certificate from the Spay Neuter Assistance Program, they are 1 of only 2 vets on the network list in Vigo County.... I can't get in to use it because they aren't accepting new patients. I already have a vet, just need the spay service. WHY BE PART OF THE LIMITED NETWORK IF YOU WON'T PROVIDE THE SERVICE!!! People are trying to do the right thing and get their pet fixed and you're turning them away?! Remove yourself from the spay/neuter program network if you're not gonna provide the service.

A small dog was barking on a table where they had left him tied. My own dog immediately peed once they let her out. She doesn't do that at other places so I wondered how long she had been caged.

They still had their harnesses on and I have no idea if they'd been removed all week. I asked how the dogs did, and the owner shrugged and said they wouldn't come out of their crates to potty outside. At no time had anyone contacted me to say the dogs were not doing well. My dogs were covered in dried, matted feces when I brought them home. Their carriers were also filled with feces and needed to be hosed down. One dog rubbed a raw spot on the top of her snout. I've boarded them before at a different kennel and the staff there did a wonderful job so I knew my dogs could board ok. They both came down with diarrhea the week after I picked them up and were very lethargic. Thankfully they recovered ok. I am never using this business again.
