Next A. J. Perri comes out because drain is clogged. That person said probably a bird or animal clogged the vent on the roof. He left - never even tried to clear the drain. He said maybe a new toilet. He left. Called Advanced, John Lyman came out. Looked over the drains (sink and shower) no others were backed up. He cleared the clog and we were good. He told me it is guaranteed for 30 days and don't hesitate to call us if it clogs again. Amen to an honest company. Summary - don't use A. J. Perri - use Advanced - a family-owned business that cares about its reputation and work - It does not try to sell you anything you don't need.

They dropped off a few samples along with an explanation sheet explaining the benefits of each. I was rather surprised by the price which I consider to be more than fair. I hired them on the spot and could not be more pleased. The work performed, punctuality and communication were all without parallel. If you are having sewer problems definitely give them a call and I know you will be as impressed as I was. My sewer line backed up unexpectantly and had to be snaked out to the city sewer line. Over the following 2 weeks it backed up another 2 times. At the 3rd backup Ignacio came, snaked out the line, and ran a camera down it. I was able to view the camera video on his tablet as he carefully explained everything I was seeing. He showed me what the problem was and gave me 3 options to permanently resolve the issue with pros and cons for each option. I contracted with IG and within 1 week they did the work and fixed my problem. Not only that, but they kept everything so clean during the work and even washed my floor when they were finished. Two plumbers arrived on time but initially quoted an unreasonable $1,300. After I challenged the price, they lowered it to $300, with me supplying the faucet and valves. Unfortunately, the workmanship was unacceptable. They argued against installing sweat valves, then performed a poor solder job that leaked. The compression valve was installed incorrectly, blew off when the water was turned back on, and flooded the cabinet and kitchen floor. They had nothing to clean up the water, so I had to do it myself. Things only got worse. They incorrectly installed the faucet sprayer, breaking both the faucet and sprayer. One plumber said he would go to Home Depot to get a replacement but returned much later with only an incorrect replacement sprayer in the wrong finish. When I said I would go get the correct faucet myself, he claimed Home Depot didn't have it in stock. I knew that wasn't true because I had purchased the faucet there earlier that same day. It became clear he had not done what he said he would do. After hearing what had happened, the owner, Nick pulled the crew off the job and sent another plumber, who fixed the valve issues in about 20 minutes--proof that the original work should have been done correctly from the start. By then, I had spent over five hours on-site, missed lunch and dinner, cleaned up their flooding, and even installed the replacement faucet myself to prevent it from being damaged again. Nick's response was the most disappointing part of the entire experience. Instead of apologizing for the repeated mistakes, he demanded full payment, threatened to place a lien on my property, report me, and even call the police. He repeatedly called me a "thief" for questioning whether I should pay in full after such poor service. I ultimately paid because I felt intimidated by his threats, not because I believed the work deserved it. The company prominently markets itself as a veteran-owned business, which led me to expect professionalism, integrity, and accountability. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. Rather than taking responsibility for his employees' mistakes, Nick responded with intimidation, accusations, and threats. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience warranted one. Mistakes happen, but how a company responds matters. Between the poor workmanship, wasted time, property damage, apparent dishonesty, and Nick's hostile and threatening behavior, this was one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. I left feeling intimidated and in tears, and cannot recommend Dr Drip Plumbing.
