I was aware of the Arts Garage by the outlets but went to the Noyes Arts Garage located in Claridge for this first time on Saturday. They had several sections filled with art collections from a bunch of different artists. The main room was huge and there was also an upstairs and downstairs section. The Claridge used to be a casino, so I think this area used to be a convention hall. While it's not a museum, if you took your time to look at each piece, you should easily kill a few hours. The collections varied, giving a little something for everyone. It looks like certain collections and exhibits are only there a certain amount of time. It's free to the public, and open until 7pm daily. I'm so impressed that this gallery is here and recommend anyone in AC looking for a break from the slots and parties, to get there art on at Noyes.

The only thing is because they don't own their own parking lot you and they are part of the Outlet Parking garage, you still have to pay for parking. I feel like if they gave those who visit the museum free parking there would be more people visiting it, it was basically a ghost town in there. The place is still cluttered and you don't know if something's part of the art display or not. I feel like they need to invest more on their signage because most of the art pieces are described on a piece of paper printed out and taped onto the wall. Barely any of the artwork have the dates on them, which I feel is an important part to the art, especially if you're going for a school assignment. Overall it needs to be reorganized and although it's a free art museum to go to, the parking fee makes it difficult for people to even want to go there. They do however have a deal for if you spend $25 you get free parking, but that doesn't entice people to come. Workers are extremely nice and very informative. But I feel like with the city being as vacant as it is, this museum won't survive for much longer without more crowd to it. This is extremely sad especially since it's a school funded museum and as a local I want the city in general to thrive.

I was in Atlantic City visiting some visiting family who were staying at the nearby Resorts Casino…read moreand Hotel and since the gallery is located inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino I had to pay a visit to the place as well. My goal was to find items related to bands that I follow for my PiercingMetal adventures and lucky for me, Paul Stanley of KISS had recently done a showcase of his work and many of the paintings were on display. The courteous staff allowed me to photograph them and I will be adding them to the website posts. I also was able to see the works by Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart and Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen and everything was awesome to behold in person. Of course, fine art by such notables is way out of my price range but I do appreciate it and it was wonderful to see. The gallery itself is not a huge space as its located in part of the hotel but believe me they fit plenty of work in there for you to enjoy if you are just a looker or someone who is entertaining a purchase. Hopefully I will get to return at some time in the future and see some different stuff. Be sure to visit if you should be in the region. Its time well spent. Then go gamble a little bit at the Hard Rock.

She's such a sweetheart and happy to help you whether you are just looking or making a purchase. We've attended a couple of artist shows here (Godard and Fazzino) and they were very well run! (Discounts/ specials on the artists work, meet and greet etc.) Nicely done! They have a great assortment of art on hand and are able to easily order you any not currently in the gallery. I especially love the back display room where you can have specific pieces pulled so you can make your selections without distraction. It's a great gallery with lots of fun pop art. Hard Rock is the perfect location for it! I would definitely suggest stopping in and looking at what they have. They also have an email list and Facebook page to keep track of upcoming events and offers. Enjoy! :D

In addition to live glass blowing demonstrations, and special classes or make-and-take events for glass/pottery pieces, they have a glass museum with tons of history on glass in the USA. NJ had all the right conditions and materials (wood, sand, soda ash, and silica) for glass so it was the nation's main source of glass for a long period in US history. They make pottery and glass items on site that are sold in the store, and visitors can observe all of this being made. There is a long nature trail, a lake, historic schoolhouse, and various other interesting buildings on the campus. There are at least two stores, both with tons of glass and pottery/ceramic gift options, among other artistic mediums. There is finer art glass sculpture available too, in the gallery store. Wheaton offers a handful of free admission days every year (mostly in summer), including the Fire Muster, with a bunch of fire engines and firemen! They also host craft shows, holiday themed weekends, and other festival events. Live music and food trucks are normally part of any event day. It's a very fun place, and easily can take 2 hours to explore everything. My last visit I was there 3 hours and still didn't get to the nature trail. Nearby Vineland has many great food options, especially Puerto Rican.

The tough part of staying here is the place is HUGE--it takes quite a bit of walking to get from the parking garage to your room, to the restaurants, etc. We got used to it, but it is confusing to navigate--they do provide maps for this reason. Staff was friendly, and our room remained clean. They did charge a resort fee when we checked in, but this was quoted in the original price we booked online. So overall we felt it was a good deal to stay in a spot with very clean and nice rooms, although wouldn't stay here with a family as we didn't need the Casino and sacrificed convenience for the long walk to our rooms for this.

Under $150 per night during a non-seasonal month. Our room had a beautiful view of the boardwalk and ocean. Most of the elevators were broken and was a nightmare going up and down. After the second day, the hotel supervisor Alejandro, switched our room to another tower with a suite with a better view. Lots of the eateries on the 2nd floor were open until 4am or 24/7 which was a great perk. Sadly no live poker room in this casino which really pissed me off. The Steel Pier amusement park and eateries were a nice extention to the hotel.
