Don't be fooled by their Instagram photo or their website glamor shots. I got my wife a closet remold for her birthday, and it turned to be a nightmare. From having to negotiate the price, and still embarrassed to admit what I paid for this garbage. To the renderings not matching the end result. I came to Closet Factory through Costco. Working with Jeff Wright as project manager was a pleasure, especially after the nightmare of trying to get a closet installed from Home Depot. The Closet Factory / Costco price was a penny to penny match of HD's except that CF could complete the work promptly as opposed to 6 - 8 weeks out. Jeff's administrative team was professional and the young man, Andrew, who actually installed the closet was not just a skilled carpenter he was also nice-as-could-be. The finished product was spectacular! And Andrew vacuumed and wiped down everything so that it was also immaculate before he left. I would recommend Closet Factory for custom closet needs due to their commitment to customer satisfaction and the dedication to making sure the job done was quality from start to finish, and I would consider it a good value for the money especially when there are companies who look good but do a shoddy job when it comes down to it. I trusted this company because of the consistently good reviews they had. Michelle and Anne were the designers that came for the initial consult and were super friendly and thorough. I'm glad they had the tools to design the room the way they visualized so I could see before signing, even with the room full of clutter. It took a couple of months from signing to actual install but part of that was delay due to being busy. There ended up being an extra shelf that needed to be removed after the installers came but they were quick and helpful to remove it and refund me promptly. The installers themselves, Shawn and Jacob, came on time in the morning and spent all day working hard to get the custom closet looking good. They had good attention to detail and I'm very happy with the end result. The only recommendation I would have to others is that if you are getting part of a closet pulled out (I had shelving that came with the house) either consider getting backing or be prepared to paint over it. On February 19, we had an office built in our home, a desk along with floating shelves. It turned out beautiful except our desk. It was L shaped and where the seam met the pattern did not line up. We called the company manager and she said they couldn't do it. I believe they didn't want to replace the desk and for the amount of money we spent it should have been fixed. We did a complete remodel of our master bathroom and of course that let to other projects to be done. Our master closet was cleared out and looked old after 20 years of service. We decided to do a new closet in our master closet and since we also had our vinyl flooring taken into our office, decided to take out that closet and make it shelf storage for our office. I got three bids from all fiver star companies here on Yelp and decided to go with Closet Factory in the end. All three companies were competitive in price used the similar materials and gave a lifetime warranty. Lizbeth represented Closet Factory and arrived on time for our appointment. She was super sweet and gave us her design and initial pricing. Being our first bid, we really didn't have any lingering questions about the installation. After getting the other two bids, we had more questions and liked different elements of each persons design. We have a cabinet in our master closet filled with coax cables and wiring for all of the cable and audio in the entire house. Each bid had a different way of addressing that box since it could not be removed and relocated. Since Lizbeth drew the short straw coming over first, I called her back and had her come over again to discuss how to handle that box and discuss design alterations. She was very gracious with her time and came back over the next day. I showed her the other two designs and my wife and I discussed creating a new hybrid design based on our likes of all three. She got right on it and came up with something we liked. We agreed on a final price, made a deposit and entered into a contract with them. All three bids were one month out on installation so we just had to wait our turn. Jacob D contacted us the morning of and said he was on his way. He arrived on time, was very polite and respectful and was a one man show for the entire installation. He put down drop cloths to protect our entry way, stairs and hallways from the installation process. He completed the job in just a few hours and it looked really good. We chose function over form for our needs. You can do more fancy work with good maple or oak woods to get that wow factor if that's what you're looking for. In our last house we used the obvious two, Closet World and California Closets. Stay away, they were very commercial in their presentation and very expensive compared to the bids we got from more local vendors. When it's time to do the closets in our other bedrooms, we will call Closet Factory back. read more

I initially made an appointment for today at 11 AM but had to move up due to a work commitment at 1PM. I communicated with Amanda, who also said she would be the individual Coming for the consultation. I was grateful she could move up the time to 10AM to accommodate me. Fast forward to the morning of the consult when I receive a call at 9:36 AM from Gabriella, who said she was designated to complete the consult. She didn't know if she could make it because she didn't have my full address but knew the city. My husband returns the call immediately, and she proceeds to tell my husband that she can't be here for another 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes. My appointment was at 10 AM. She knew the city of where I live, which is about an hour from her home, but I'm just now getting a phone call about not having my full address? She can't make it for another 1 + hours? From start to finish, the Closet Factory Team did an amazing job, the project was delivered on time, on budget, and with no surprises. The project consisted of new shelving and cabinetry for a walk-in pantry, a walk-in master bedroom closet, and a guest bedroom closet. The designer, Michelle, had some great ideas and suggestions to maximize the existing spaces, matching room color schemes and putting thoughts into reality via computer drawings. Michelle also did a wonderful job communicating the installation timeline and providing an earlier window for installation since the areas were prepped ahead of schedule. Upon final scheduling, Amanda from the office, emailed and called to ensure everything was ready for the installers and if there were any questions or concerns. On the day of installation, the Team (Albert and Jacob D.) texted an arrival time, proceeded to jump right into the project and knocked it out in one day (originally scheduled for two days). The installation Team did a fantastic job ensuring all the areas were to specifications, colors were as ordered including parts and accessories.
