Lisa made us feel confident in her and Carpet Emporium's ability to completely satisfy our requirements. We wanted to install Rev Wood by Mohawk plus new elegant Baseboards throughout our entire house. Lisa worked with us to deliver a great timeline and what we perceived as an exceptional value! Our installers, Fernando and Gaby (a husband and wife team), worked hard from the start. We liked the fact that Fernando and Gaby worked for Carpet Emporium and were not third-party contracted installers. They removed all of the existing carpet and tile, working in phases from one end of the house to the other. In each phase, they would do the demo work and then install the Rev Wood and Baseboards. I had my carpet replaced in my entire home in November 2024. Nick was very patient and provided excellent customer service at the store. He provided me some sample carpets to take home and see which ones I liked. The installation crew at my house were on time, efficient and friendly. The only observation I have made regarding the crew's work is that they did not consider cleanliness and appropriate method a couple of times. For example, when they were moving my mattress from my bedroom, they moved it into my bathroom next to the toilet and my bathroom is very tiny. I wouldn't have considered a bathroom as appropriate location to move a mattress I sleep on and not hygienic or clean. Since I noticed this happen right away, I asked if they could move it out and they did move the mattress to a different bedroom in the house. Another time they had a dust pan used to gather the dirt and dust on top of my second mattress that per my request was placed outside my house. I provided this feedback to Nick when he did a follow up call with me to see how things went. Other than this, everything else with the installation went smoothly. I do love the new carpet and how it feels. This is my second time using Carpet Emporium and I highly recommend them. read more

The owner has messaged me since my initial review to explain that his staff member had a family emergency. It's always admirable when a business owner takes time to respond. My husband and I rushed to carpet emporium yesterday after work to make it there in enough time before they closed at 7pm (according to their website and to the Business hours sign on the door). To our dismay, there was no one in sight. They were closed, despite all information indicating they should be open. It was not a holiday. We were frustrated since we only had time to make it to one carpet store since they all close by 6p or 7p. This is BAD business! I do not recommend. Take a minute to read; So I'll start by saying that this entire ordeal was made all the more frustrating by Nick's complete lack of communication with me during every problem that arose. I ordered my carpet and was given a date for the installers to be there which was a Sunday, when I called Saturday to confirm my appointment for the following day I was told they don't do installs on Sundays (thanks Nick), I was than told they would be there Monday between 8 and 10, Monday comes and by noon still nobody has shown up, I call back to see what the issue is and after another 2-3 hours of waiting for a call back I'm told they had me down for the wrong date again. I would have to wait until Wednesday for the install. After another few days the carpet finally comes and has 3 huge slices through it as if somebody went at it with a utility knife, I call Carpet Emporium yet again to see how they will resolve the issue and Nick doesn't seem to have been given the message from his installers that there was issue with the carpet (seems the lack of communication isn't just with me) after finally hearing back from Nick I'm told that new carpet will have to be shipped from Georgia but they'll try to get a "rush" order of it. Another week and some days go by and finally it arrives and is installed. Granted the carpet was finally installed it was for a back house unit that was to be rented on the first Monday I expected the installation, each time a delay arose I had to reimburse my renter money for the unit being unavailable, this was a very frustrating experience and I gathered that Nick's main goal when I would call was to say whatever I wanted to hear to get me off the phone. After all was said and done I was given $300 off my total bill which was nothing compared to what I lost from my renter. This entire experience was extremely frustrating right down to the day I paid the bill, Nick was supposed to call me back with info on how much they would be taking off my tab and instead charged my card before communicating it to me. I have a few different rental units but will most certainly use a different company the next time I need flooring done, this ordeal was just too ridiculous to forget about anytime soon. read more
